With the exception of #5, these look like reaches. You're complaining that our depth guys should replace starters. Sounds like Beane built a solid roster and your issue is who should start.

Allen's INT was very questionable. The one replay i saw made it look like the ball might have hit the ground and should've been reviewed (We've all seen less questionable plays reviewed for a while). TBH, i feel like the NFL wanted something to go the Jets way to keep the fans engaged. Note - I've been known to be a conspiracy theorist when things don't go our way.

Agree. Was he supposed to chip there? seemed like it wasnt designed that way. Jets just called a good play against our protection.

Came here to say this. His instincts are incredible. He thinks like a true linebacker. If only he had the athleticism of Edmunds (or vice versa).

Trubisky could hold down the fort in the regular season and get us in to the playoffs, something i dont think Fromm could do. But yea without Allen in the playoffs we're done.

I'm in favor of a paycut and Klein seems like the person to do that to stay with a contender. I like Dodson and Smith, I'm just more comfortable with Klein in the backup role for now. This could easily change the next time Klein is out there and F's up.

Not sure Klein is cut #1. I think the coaching staff loves him and he provides quality depth. I could easily see him kept at current salary. I'm not high on him and agree he costs way too much, just giving an objective opinion.

My dogs the same and won't even stay inside most of the time. As soon as F-bombs come out, he's scratching at the door. I feel guilty about it but then move on to the next curse word ridden rant.

Don't forget about Poyer. He was brought in with Hyde in year 1 and I think he is just as valuable. Both are -leaders and tone setters. Maybe as a combo I could see it in conversation as one of the best signings.

Played throughout middleschool/hishchool. Biggest takeway is how much respect I have for the players. I remember the day after a game I'd be sore as hell and those injuries lingered and it was only for 6/7 games a year. Can't imagine doing this for a full nfl season at the level of competition (obviously helps to have a training staff/medical facilities). If I was in Beasleys position at the end of this year, I probably wouldve been in the camp of my leg is basically paralyzed instead of toughing it out like a beast. Other than that, flags. I actually understand why a lot of the penalties are called even though I don't like them. Kinda useless in my mind.

No but mahones looked human for a change because of him. Not opposed to giving Brady the MVP though (he was in complete control and the most important piece to that offense), just thought Barrett deserves a lot of recognition. Agreed - he's playing well and could definitely keep the job but loyalty is big with McD when deciding who plays. I'd bet ford starts when healthy regardless of how well Ike is playing.

Wasn't too fond of your idea to replace Morse either but this is an idea I can get behind and something I expect Beane to be looking at during the offseason given how much he values flexibility and the next man up ideology. Definitely want Morse at center, he's smart enough to call out protections and take pressure off Josh but doesn't hurt to find someone who can easily fill in during an injury.
