  1. yep. better hurry up and win something, bc he'll be gone after year 4 or 5 . three/four years is a long time. I see the Bills being killer next year. but that's just me . ProcessTruster (aka 8&8Forever) . go bills. Trust the Process. Be scorin my seasons for next season from some bailer
  2. Pats fans. Coming to see the rout . When I had seasons in the club seats, the Pats fans would buy them up. I was surrounded by the enemy every time. But we Trust the process.
  3. Beane just doing his job. Relax. Guy you like becomes available, you try to get him. Pretty simple process. Bills have priority position for these kind of FAs , so there you go. Just doing his job. Building the roster. Geez, posters get crazy when team doesn't win. Now people are complaining about practice squad moves? yikes.
  4. O Line continues to jell. Marcus Murphy can play. Defense keeps it close until the east coast goes to bed. The timing of this game has turned out to be about as bad as it can get. Bills won't get another MNF sniff until 2022.
  5. One thing I like about Beane is he will grab talent at any position it turns up. Johnson, the Phillips-es , the punter.. if you keep doing that, stay away from mega contracts, and have a top 10 QB (let's hope Allen is it) , you can win sustainably in the NFL for at least a few years.. We'll see if Allen matures. None of the so called top 4 drafted QBs look very good so far, so who knows on that just yet. Trust the process. if the money is equal , the best FAs are going somewhere else, history proves that. but McBeanes (a) can sign their own guys who have figured out this franchise is actually a pretty good place to play and (b) grab mid tier FAs who can contribute at a high level -- thats all about scouting and player personnel knowledge, which I think these guys have in spades.
  6. whatever, just keep him if you can't get anything for him, until the replacements come next year, which they will. $60-70m of cap space and 10 draft picks will do that. This season is a good training camp for all this years draft picks, all of whom look really good. I like that they put Allen in there and didn't make him sit for a year. He's getting a nice break now to watch and learn. He'll come back better I believe. Trust the process.
  7. Bills probably get killed in embarrassing fashion Monday night. I consider this one long preseason/tryout camp and frankly, haven't watched a game yet. Definitely not watching this coming Monday's game. What a sh-t show that will be. Have to Trust the Process. McBeanes are making good moves. Once they get out of cap jail + 10 picks, they will turn the corner next year, IMHO.
  8. sure, they have the right people in place now and are on a rational path, so yes it's pretty cool to watch them operate the player personnel rebuild piece...
  9. and that will get fixed in the off-season and on draft day. not a second before. This years' roster is what it is. trust the process.
  10. Way too early to know anything. Hopefully Allen stays injured and watches a few more games. At least for the next one.
  11. The issue is the following: Does he want to be in WNY? Does his agent want him there? Is he a family guy or rock star single rich NFL guy? These are massive questions. $$ being equal, FAs historically don't want to be in this place or this organization. The list is a long one. Fine, go after him, but only if you can sign him to at least another year. Trading a precious 2 next year for a guy with a big cap hit in his 5th/option year, if he's likely to walk after next year is just foolish for a rebuilding team. This team needs all its picks, as draft picks are stuck in WNY for at least 4 - 5 years.
  12. yeah, they learned their lesson there for sure. I do not expect them to extend him past this season, nor do not expect a repeat performance.
  13. Cooper but would just be a 1 year rental until his contract expires after 2019, then he is gone. Just as LA was crazy to trade for Watkins, who stayed for just the last year of his rookie deal. Go draft some top guys or get guys in FA who actually can be signed to longer term deals who actually want to be here. I want guys who will stay long enough to see this thing play out. Sorry, WR problem not getting solved for this season. Trust the Process.
  14. the Jets bailed on him pretty quickly. just saying. must be something wrong there.
  15. how is it we play 5 out of first 7 on the road? I see Bills are still the homecoming game opponent of the NFL.
  16. well, we'll see ... its a 16 game season. I'm in the rip-the-bandaid off camp with a top 4 QB pick// you play him, hell or high water. I'm ok with Allen sitting a couple games.
  17. assuming they are right up against the cap right now, signing Teddy at 6 perhaps would have meant no other FA signings this year , which would have been unacceptable is my guess. McCarron wasn't that much, and when he washed out they didn't even want to keep his lower number. I really don't know, but if they are as tight against the cap as we've been lead to believe , I would wager 6m is more than they've put out this year to all of their FA signings
  18. Whatever. Allen's the guy. McCarron was bad in camp and preseason. Allen goes down, you're f d. Got it. No one has a #1 QB for a backup, unless they are paying starter $ for him, and cap hell is what McBeanes are trying to stay out of, not go straight back into with Teddy , et al. For example, Jimmy G. goes down, 49ers are f'd. So, did the 49ers mismanage the most important position in pro sports Mr. King? Until Jimmy G. went down, 49ers were praised for killing it at the QB position-- hell they gambled on Jimmy G. last year and won, and were named heroes. Now they're f'd and look stupid rolling out Beathard (who slung it pretty good last night). It's how it goes with the "most important position in sports". Next. McBeanes don't give a cr-p what King says. They'll go with Nate (BTW, not many guys can come off the bench and throw that TD ball to Jones) and go from there. Allen's the guy. In fact, this actually works out well as Allen could probably use a couple games watching on the sidelines. They had to rip the bandaid off and get Allen in there. So far, so good. He hasn't gotten killed yet. Couple weeks watching probably good. Trust the Process.
  19. yep. hogan played hiding a busted hand , couldn't catch anything and was let go; Watkins was never on the field and wanted #1 $$, so no good there either; Goodwin was just screwing around with football and was let go; Woods agent never even talked to the Bills, so that one was baked as well. I put no faith in the Whaley/Rex era, they were the hot garbage...
  20. All correct. Run game , Defense rebuilt and cap space relief all happening right now and on schedule. QB is in place. all is well
  21. Only saw highlights and box score; looks like D and run game was solid, just got beat by a couple huge turnovers, which would wreck just about any team without a GOAT QB. Allen was going pretty well until hurt it seems. Looks like this roster can go on the road and compete. Good. Trust the Process. Move on.
  22. McBeanes just want their kind of players. I don't believe they really care about their histories. Why should that matter? If the guy fits what they are looking to do and have , he fits.
