On two weeks rest, I'd bet the Bills on a neutral field would have competed better than the Chiefs did, since Bills beat Chiefs on a neutral field 3 out of 4 IMHO

Carter will be a force this season. Patience. The injury was unfortunate, but you cannot now just ignore the guy like he isn't there. Guessing they grab the Michigan DT (Grant) in the first if he falls that far. Then everyone will be pissing that they didn't go WR in the 1st. Sigh.

no way Adams plays in WNY, so forget that. Garrett seems like a decent guy so he seems like a much better fit for WNY

Exactly. Frankly, special teams hardly matter anymore. Kickoffs are pretty much gone. Punters punt to avoid returns and and very good at it. FGs are whatever. Just not a lot there anymore. This is why McBeanes don't pay the Siran Neals of the world anymore. Kind of a waste of cap dollars. So I guess I sorta couldn't give a crap who the ST coach is.

to manage my blood pressure I started just this season to listen the game on WGR with my earpods while watching, to get the local call rather than the mindless tv announcers non-stop blabbing background info on the Bllls I already know better than they do . Benefit: turns out the audio is usually 5-7 seconds ahead of the TV video (nothing you can do pause and synch the audio) so I actually know the result of the play a few seconds before the video, which actually keeps you from blowing up when you see the video, without really distracting from the game. Weird I know , but the local call is so much better than the national call of the game, and the shock value of both good and bad plays is tempered a bit. It works.. sort of.

I loved his final words "do good, be good, go bills..."

If somehow the NFL can get the foreign country playing surfaces conform to NFL standards (they don't currently), I am fine with it. Travel outside the US is fun.

kind of a ho hum matchup. fans are tired of KC and the run-50-times-a-game Eagles are boring

turf toe injury since pre season. its a bad sprain in the big toe joint. you can't run at all. he tried to come back from it probably too early and it lingered most of the season; then he had another injury. We haven't yet seen the guy we traded for. He'll be 100% this season with any luck and we can see what we have. I still fear he's redundant with Shakir and Kiincaid, but that's a different thread.

Couple points: Both Kincaid and Samuel were pretty seriously injured most of the season andplayed at, who knows, 70-80% and looked like crap (like most guys playing with injuries they shouldnt e playing with). That matters. And fans just react to what they see My assumption is 1) Kincaid comes in 10-15 lbs heavier and a lot stronger next season; he must have been told to do this, and McD as much as said this is important "...to make it through the entire season..." AND 2) Samuel will come in completely healthy and fast and will actually be the guy they traded for So not sure you see a lot in the WR room other than a big move for a boundary speedster . no idea who that will be.
