How Will McDermott Change the Defense?
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Simon Says's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is one of the only defensive players I’d be okay w/ in the 1st round. I think he plays much more aggressive than Edmunds + the name Jack Campbell is a cool name for a Linebacker. -
Darnell Wright Tennessee OT
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Sierra Foothills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills could’ve had the real Jason Peters. Just kidding -
Idk. I think Josh SHOULD force the ball to Diggs. Look what happened when they stopped doing that. It seems like the Bills win when Diggs puts up a good stat line. I don’t think the answer is getting rid of the only elite skill player on this team and only sure-handed receiver. I do agree that they definitely need to allocate resources elsewhere (not the defense) specifically the offensive line. I’m in the minority here, but I think the skill players are just fine. Watch everybody become good all of the sudden when Allen has time to throw and the RBs start getting lanes. Seems guys like Brady/Manning/Brees got it done w/ whoever their entire careers. The common denominator is they all had good O-Lines. Maybe I’m old school, but build the trenches. Beane had the RIGHT idea for the D-Line, he just didn’t hit on any of those picks.

I appreciate your kind words. This is one of the many reasons I love this fan base. Cheers and a toast to those who are no longer here 🍻

Do the Bills Under Appreciate Gabe Davis?
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
When it’s all said and done Davis will have an Emmanuel Sanders type of career. He’ll string together a few 1000+ yard seasons, but I think he will consistently hover around that 800-900 mark w/ an annual 6-8 TDs which is NOT bad. I definitely think he is under appreciated on this board. The Diggs/Davis combo is one of the statistical bests in the league. No, he is no Jaylen Waddle or Tee Higgins. If Buffalo can find a guy of that caliber then pull the trigger. For now I am happy w/ Davis. I don’t think the book is closed on career and I expect a nice bounce back season along w/ Dawson Knox. -
I lost my older brother a couple years ago at the young age of 31 so I have a real soft spot for Knox. The fact he was able to even continue playing is crazy w/ barely any time to grieve, but I’m sure it weighed heavily on his thoughts & performance. These players are people too. I have a feeling he will have a huge season next year.

Taylor Rapp Signing with Bills
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to hellofellowbillsfans's topic in The Stadium Wall
This could be a very underrated signing. The one thing I trust about McD/Beane is their DB evaluations. Poyer & Hyde were fairly mediocre Safety’s before they came to Buffalo. -
No way in hell. I’m still recovering from the CJ Spiller disaster. Build the freakin O-Line even if they have to reach a little bit, maybe even trade down. Protect your 100 million $ QB. Buffalos weapons are adequate enough to get it done. Watch everyone improve when you give Allen some decent protection, watch the running game vastly improve. I can’t believe anyone would even consider wasting a 1st rounder in a RB. Actually it blows my mind. This isn’t the 90s anymore, Jim. Unless there’s a Saquon Barkley level prospect then I would jump on board, but there isn’t.

Wish they would just sign Klein at lb
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree! Knows the system, produces when he’s on the field. He was a beast in 2021 (5 sacks, 2 FF, and a pick) and for a time I thought he was a better playmaker than Edmunds. One of the better old Carolina players that the Bills brought over. Klein is a good insurance policy so the MLB position isn’t a complete disaster. I think Milano will help cover some deficiencies. -

I had no idea this guy was even in the league (TY Hilton also before he got signed by Dallas.) I thought these guys retired years ago. Obviously I need to get out more.. -
A players perspective on the Bengals game
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Magox's topic in The Stadium Wall
Daboll should be sorely missed. He called the only “perfect game” ever in the playoffs and put Buffalo in position to win against KC to yet again have the defense let them down. I am not surprised at all w/ the success he’s had w/ the G-men. Daniel Jones made a lot of money and should be extremely grateful. I am hoping for the best w/ Dorsey, but am not entirely optimistic. I will give him credit for getting the run game going, but the Cinci game was just a flat-out flop and the offense looked like **** the latter half of the season. Consistency is everything especially w/ QBs and OCs. This team should be putting up 28+ on a weekly basis and a top 3 offense year in & year out. Let’s hope he learns from his mistakes and puts it all together in 2023. -

Especially at skill positions. Landing Hopkins would be massive. -
Will DeAndre Hopkins be available this offseason?
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to NeverOutNick's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not sure if someone posted this, but Hopkins had the “Buffalo Soldier” lyrics on his Twitter. It’s been deleted though 😟 -
I read this as “Good luck Moron!” for a split second 😅

Should we trade Ed Oliver?
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Floridagatorsbuffalobills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m over Ed Oliver. Got out played by Daquan Jones, a 31 year old 4th round journeyman (not to take away from Jones who was solid.) I think the teams resources can be better used elsewhere. I doubt they would get anything more than a 3rd round pick and that’s being super generous. -
McKenzie Signing With The Colts
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Búfalo Blanco's topic in The Stadium Wall
Basically was given the slot role and had the opportunity to show his skills as a starter and just blew it time & time again. McKenzie really could’ve increased his worth, but didn’t take full advantage. I wish him luck, but if he can’t make it Josh Allen then I don’t think whoever the Colts start can make it work. -
The one at 1:06 is insane !

Still angry about this pick 14 years later. Time flies… -
What would you trade for Jerry Jeudy?
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to RocCityRoller's topic in The Stadium Wall
9 sacks and a pick last year. Would’ve really came in handy after Von Miller went down. -
What would you trade for Jerry Jeudy?
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to RocCityRoller's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m kind of back & forth on a 1st or 2nd. Diggs, Jeudy, Davis, and a 2nd year Shakir would be absolutely lethal. But would the line hold up to give Allen the time? Beane does like proven veteran WRs and a late 1st rounder is not always a guarantee to pan out. Buffalo needs more fire power to compete with the likes of KC and Cincy. I guess I would pull the trigger on a 1st if Beane is confident he can get some good lineman later in the draft. -
Idk. If the Steelers actually play to his strengths unlike what Buffalo did last season then he might still have something left. You know, plays that don’t involve actually catching the ball.

Cody Ford signed by the Bengals
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
Is it me or is the league short of offensive line talent ? How do guys like this even get signed ? Probably one of the shittier draft picks in Bills history. He is on an NFL roster though so I guess more power to him ?
