The world where DA has shown that for this season there’s simply not much better to replace NP with in the backup ranks. I have to hold my breath every time DA takes a step that he doesn’t snap a leg and his TD to turnover differential would make even NP shrug. None of that is DA’s fault given the circumstances, but to think that we are about to witness some sort of significant drop off from our QB play with NP this week would be shortsighted IMHO.

He’d never stay on the field after the first 2, so he’s either going to play significantly better and there will be a lot of “crow” for dinner on these boards after, or he’ll be out before halftime and we get our first forgettable look at Barkley.

If there is going to be any kind of redemption tour starting this week for NP, then at least he gets that opportunity at New Era, where he hasn't thrown any picks (that I can remember), so there's that. Anderson frankly has looked vacant and depressed in his starts, terrible body language every time he hits the dirt, and I have to wonder how much longer by choice he will trot out there to take punishing blows on his senior citizen self. I'm sure Ms. Anderson is working as we speak on figuring out how he can retire for good with what they have already in the bank, and will turn this into a demand, not a Giselle type end of year request, lol.

If you judge FO's based on the bottom line of wins/losses, then there have certainly been worse in Bills franchise history, and at worst he at least ties 3 other times if the Bills fail to win again at all this year. "It takes time" to build a winner from the ground up, even though I know it's not what many here want to hear. That said, if JA ends up a bust this coming season, then all bets are off and we will be on to the new regime search quicker than later. The D has been a pleasant surprise and gave us one of the better performances against Brady for most of the night, that I've ever seen outside of the Giants in SB's.

I noticed he always stayed down quite awhile after each hit—that’s usually a big no no for a qb, isn’t it? Gotta bounce right up to show the D that they didn’t hit you hard enough, and pump up your own unit’s morale. Of course I can’t blame him I’m sure he hurts like crazy, but was definitely noticeable during the game
