  1. So many missed tackles, not getting off blocks, Zimmer looking redder by the second
  2. Got it—overall tone was getting less than moderately civilized at times, but I do appreciate the distinction/explanation
  3. That would pretty much take out 99.9% of every other prognosticator as well, along with a similar ratio of TBD. My heart told me they had a shot last week and would pull it off, but the left side of my brain said, doubtful. I definitely had hope though, same as this week.
  4. Regardless of whether or not the bet was ever placed, it did provide for some entertaining fodder on both sides leading up to the game, sparking a voluminous amount of posts as to the wisdom of doing so, that’s continuing even now, although not nearly as much fun as it was day of, devolving into nothing productive. When does admin propose to finally put this and the other threads tied to it, out of its misery?
  5. Love the intensity McD brought, just in case anyone was thinking of laying around on their laurels from the Minnie game—if anything, this week facing a grumpy GB squad with a 1st ballot HOFer almost makes this an even tougher road game, and the boys will have to dig deeper to find the kind of internal wrecking ball that was the Bills last week. Huge win last week, but to really give the national media and naysayers on this board some what for, they need to pull off another upset. Won’t do that by losing focus in practice. And as others have posted in more detail, our WR’s individually are poor at best, so the effort needs to be rock solid...
  6. Agreed—while I credit the defense for keeping it going, we’ve already seen Chicago give up close to a 20 point lead this year and we all know what happened with the Pats coming back from 28-3 down a couple SB’s ago. Point is, no lead is safe these days, especially with that much time left
  7. Quote of the day IMO: "I don't think we took them too lightly," Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said. "I think they came out and kicked our butts." http://www.espn.com/nfl/recap?gameId=401030784 While this one was not his, Rodak must’ve been scrambling all day to delete his ready made “Bills blown out as expected” copy in favor of “what, what just happened?”
  8. Dude, time to change your user name to the Mike Zimmer just lost to a practice squad one you swore you would do the other night...
  9. Thanks! Am about to order her a bunch of Bills gear to celebrate, way early ??
  10. What a day—Bills running roughshod as I’d barely dared to dream about, and my 3rd baby born on the same day ?my new Bills good luck charm
  11. No matter what happens the rest of the year, this was the ultimate up yours by JA and McD to the world of naysayers
  12. Playing them on a neutral site!! So we got that going for us....which is niiiiiice?
  13. While I disagree vehemently with the premise of the OP, and have already made my reasons for doing so clear to Inigo, I fully support his constitutional right to bring it in the first place ?. Besides would be boring if no contrarians around these parts
  14. So do you think the changes made by the Bills defensively with McD calling plays had nothing to do with holding them to 3 points after that? Or that Allen showing flashes of his potential was only made possible by chargers taking a ? ? All I’m saying is there were reasons to have some hope, and not solely due to the Chargers. I might eat these words come Sunday, but I’ll admit it if so.
  15. Point taken. It goes without saying they need to be able to run in their sleep whatever they trot out on game day—inexcusable if not. It is ironic though that the Foles “Philly Special” or Philly Philly, whichever iteration it is, was not a success in practice before Eagles ran it against Atlanta in the opener this year.
  16. We’re still not as cursed as the Browns or the Lions, no way we go 0-16, lock it in. Not saying we even hit .500 this year, but even at our worst of all time, we won at least 2 games, no? So who’s giving us those wins this year?
