  1. Could be a circumstance of literally having no other warm bodies to throw out there for much of this season--the recent emergence and get of Foster, McKenzie have helped this along?
  2. Say what you will about McBeane, but in this case they are proving that all their talk about culture has some bite behind it too
  3. Whoa...so OBD does read the analysis on TBD!!!
  4. Thanks for mentioning--I actually didn't know about this 1994 one. The sequel I was referring to is https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2281069/, from 2012, and didn't think was all that.
  5. @HOUSE, if JA truly does become that good, I'd be happiest for a new generation of youngsters who get a great QB to root for like I did with Kelly, and not just hoping to win on Sundays, but expecting to.
  6. While obviously VERY premature, I love where your anti-trolling enthusiastic mindset is at. It certainly beats the "Fire Everybody, McBeane, Daboll Suck at Life and We Picked the Wrong Josh" threads that have taken up way too much squatting bandwidth on here over the past few months... Wow, you really are TheFunPolice ? lol
  7. Speaking of WWI, Peter Jackson of LOR trilogy fame, has completed a labor of love restoration project to bring old B&W footage of that war alive--interesting read: http://www.historyinorbit.com/peter-jackson-is-restoring-colorizing-wwi-footage/ Haven't seen it yet but I'm sure he's done a great job
  8. For some reason today I'm feeling holiday cheer. Hope you fellow TBDers are also. Keeping that rolling, what's your recommendation for best Christmas themed movies? My all-time fav would be "A Christmas Story" from 1983. Note--there was a sequel, and let's just say, hope you didn't have to pay anything to see that.
  9. WOWZER--definitely would've put my red UFO style plastic saucer to same!
  10. Have a feeling that Josh will end up #1 on this list if he's able to maintain even half of his current torrid pace...we should be so lucky! https://www.cheatsheet.com/sports/top-7-rushing-quarterbacks-in-nfl-history.html/
  11. At least with numbers I have to remember short term, so long as I can assign them to a Bills player in my head, I'm good there. :)
  12. Touché Augie--pets are definitely hit or miss if parents don't exercise some due diligence up front! Also, cool idea with the experiences versus "things" take.
  13. Reich was money as the backup QB and the holder for Christie on this day...classic images!
  14. I'm just a couple years ahead of you at 40, and can say that my short term memory is simply awful. I always stop my wife if she starts giving more than one assignment off the honey-do list at a time, because I know there is no way I will remember it without another list! I'll tell her to text it to me . Sometimes I'll come down the stairs and forget what I came down for in the first place...and the list goes on. I'm guessing (hoping) it's kinda normal at this age? I will say my long term memory couldn't be better, and I rarely forget a face (name is different problem with newer acquaintances) so I think it's nothing too serious yet, lol.
  15. Besides my copy of “Armed & Dangerous” by JK and Carucci that my mom got me the year it came out ?, I’d have to say it was getting a RC wooden airplane model to build that had a wingspan of something crazy like 5 or 6 feet, during the height of my aviation kick early teen years, from my grandfather. Yours?
  16. Thanks for posting, loved C & H growing up! Also enjoyed Garfield comics
  17. Midway 1943. Awesome game (as I can recall it) at a local roller rink growing up, that was always my refuge from elementary/jr high school drama during skate parties in late 80’s very early 90’s lol
  18. Before stumbling across TBD (at first came for the Bills news aggregator feature after BN erected their paywalls) I really have felt like I was on an island down here with no way of really connecting with other Bills fans (normally avoid social media like the plague so my own fault I know) locally. Glad to know you guys are around, and have already informed the missus (aka gotten permission after fair enough advance warning ?) that when the word is given, I will need to break out from domestic duties for an afternoon. Looking forward to it soon hopefully
  19. To put this loop on repeat, this year is all about his development and seeing consistent signs of improvement along the way. You have to have an agenda to objectively not see that especially since his return from the elbow injury, the signs for such consistent improvement are there. Whether that is going through reads, pocket awareness, leadership, touch passes, all of the above, I'm greatly encouraged, regardless of the scoreboard result. Sure he won't be perfect or without some head-scratchers along the way, but the wins will follow naturally. The bottom line is, this kid is a gamer with a hunger to succeed, and is dragging the rest of the O along for the ride right now. How can you be mad at the fact he gave this team a chance to pull out the W all the way to the final play? Go Bills!!!!!
  20. Does he take the same elixir as Alex Guerrero mixes up for TB12? If not, it's over
  21. There simply are no words.
