Currently sit OTP up towards Buford/Hamilton Mill area— When I first moved here about 15 years ago, I lived off North Druid Hills close to all the downtown action. Fast forward through marriage and kids and career and voila, here I am in the suburbs! I also have in-laws in the Kennesaw/Marietta area so we make the cross-town trek on 85/285/75 a good bit, which would get me over a whole lot closer to your neck of the woods in Vinings for sure on occasion. Buckhead would definitely be more of a field trip at this point lol

Haven’t been to an Atlanta TBD get together like this yet but would love to check it out! I do have a new baby at the house (born the same day as JA’s magnificent leap September 23rd, like to think those events are somehow related lol) so I’m not quite footloose and fancy free, but with enough heads up I would definitely try to get out

This literally all makes me ill. First off, zero respect for any “man” that puts his hands on a female, period. Hunt should feel free to shove, smack and kick Lawson however, and see how that works out for him instead—maybe Fournette can give him some pointers on leading with a roundhouse to a helmet. Unbelievable scumbaggery on display, and of course it takes a video tape months later for the team and/or league to do jack squat a la Rice, because of the PR nightmare—but make no mistake, morality has nothing to do with it, or it would’ve been handled back then with or without video. Finally, where is the league’s Cracker Jack security unit set up after the Rice debacle to make sure no stone would be left unturned in subsequent league investigations of this sort? They also couldn’t locate the existence of this tape either? Is TMZ Sports the 2nd coming of a Woodward/Bernstein journalism outfit utilizing NSA hacking tools to get the story? Bunch of chumps all around. The league better get its act together, or this problem of coddling domestic abusers within their ranks will make the anthem issue look like the easiest issue Goodell ever tried to solve.

D2D, if you’re nuts then I must be looney tunes because the last couple weeks especially have sure seemed like the semblance of a master plan finally coming together even if changes to it have had to be made on the fly along the way. And so long as we remain mathematically alive to boot, I can continue to dream of a Cinderella run as I play the lotto on the side. That’s enough for me on a rainy Friday down here in the “A” today.

Getting into the film review weeds ? Donuts, you bring your lunch pail to TBD work everyday! Good slo mo description to help explain the result—and I couldn’t agree more. I’m not worried about his completion % long term as he shows he can hit his guys and it will come up naturally if he keeps up his overall noticeable progress. Very sad, very true. Hopefully though it’s a very small # subset of the very public haters

Great thread, and good dig into the championship stats to help back it up. However, it is undeniable that D's overall have a lot of work to do to catch back up with the O's in terms of strategies to maximize the ways that are (legally) left in the NFL rule book to counter all of the ways that the NFL has affirmatively tried to rig the deck. The ones that can figure it out (arguably our own Bills are getting there) at least give themselves a chance, paired with a decent offense, to counter the Running Rebels of UNLV types out there. But small point as to the Saints last night, it is almost impossible to run the table in the NFL no matter how good your team is or record setting on O, and they were due for another stumble through self-inflicted errors to take only their 2nd loss this year. Chances are that they will bounce back and put up 45 in the next game. Personally can't wait to see what we can do with the shiny new offensive toys McBeane are working on bringing in for next year, while keeping this potentially monster D's nucleus in place along the way.

Go get Ramsey in the off-season

Ummm...<thinking bout it>...no. Like your creativity but bring me some offensive side talent please instead. This guy is Brian Cox to me, although I do give him slight credit for going up to JA afterwards with a handshake -
He could’ve become a bitter withdrawn recluse following either the tragedy with his son, or his recurring bouts with cancer even after it was supposedly cleared the first 2x. (Could we have blamed him if he had?) But instead he comes back every time with a smile and selfless encouraging words/deeds for others going through similar battles—all while still finding the time/energy to remain involved with the Bills and their functions along with his own foundations/camps. He’s become an even better role model off the field worth having a new generation of kids look up to like I did all those years ago, only now from the standpoint of real life lessons off the field. God bless you Jim and I hope this was a big step in the right direction for you.

I love FR. A total class act, awesome for the Bills (for you really young millennials out there, YouTube yourself some “greatest NFL comeback of all time against the Oilers”) and wish him nothing but the very best. But to say that this coaching hire and not taking Frank was the Pegulas’ greatest mistake ever? C’mon man—that’s grossly premature and not backed up by the data even to date.

All of which will be a welcome talking points change from the historically bad offensive numbers we were dealing with as reality during the time JA was sidelined and before the Barkley start! -
11-27: Bills' Player Workouts

Or to put this news in plain Coach Speak: "Everyday we look at how we can continue to make our roster better, as an organization committed to improvement wherever and whenever possible. As you know [insert reporter name here], I regularly sit down with Brandon, and we take a collaborative approach, as we always have, to reviewing our options along these lines. From our ownership on down, there's never really an off-season for evaluating talent, and even during the season, there are outside opportunities that we have to take advantage of and make sure that our drive to sustained success is constantly maintained and kept of paramount priority. With that said, I cannot comment on specific players or roster decisions as they occur, as the process is ongoing and any final decisions will be made public in due course." Have I missed anything or is that about what we can expect if these tidbits come up at the next presser? -
November 4th and still counting (WNY Win Streak)

During the SB run, Miami was always considered "Rich Stadium South"--sure would be nice to be able to give that venue a new moniker after a "W" this week, something like "New Era Suburbs" to christen the era of JA against the Fish! Buffalo, can you handle all of this winning?? -
Ice bowl, your good wishes reaching across the proverbial isle as a sign of solidarity are always timely. Unfortunate run of road games for your Pack, but you still have a great QB so there’s that ?

My only quibble would be with Marvin Lewis; it was hit or miss for a minute before this season if he would be coming back so in light of the latest Bengals implosion I’d say move him back to DEFCON 5 hot. However, ownership has already given him more undeserved longevity than that enjoyed by the highway robber Hue Jackson (ironically now employed by the same FO so that’s about as guaranteed job security outside of a federal government job as you can get), so you’re probably right that your current group of 5’s still go first, especially Bowles, aka the anti-Batman of “Gotham City” ?

Josh Allen Nominated for Angry Runs

Our QB’s elbow has been bionically re-engineered during the past 4 weeks to be a woke battering ram. That is all. -
Well, for awhile there last month especially, I couldn’t go a single commercial break with WGR’s stream on the radio app without getting to hear all about the kissmas bash 2018 (complete with the same annoying song snippets over and over) coming to town with tons of ✨ stars!! ??♂️? lol. If you build it they will come

I don’t dispute the Oline issues. But what worries me is that even the great ones, once they hit that proverbial wall, it’s such a rapid decline off the edge of a yardage cliff—how many times in league history have we witnessed that movie playing out? The exceptions to the rule, like AP this year (who had some time off) or Sanders who quit while he was ahead, are few and far between. I’m sure he can still have moments like the Jets game, it’s just that stringing it together week after week consistently is the issue.

Donuts? , if I could’ve awarded your post the Vince Lombardi trophy as well as the chortling guffaw which you already received, I would. While I fondly think back to our run of January playoff success shoveling snow against climate temperate teams in the 90’s, including the Fish, Raiders and Oilers for example, I’ll be happy and just fine reliving those set to the NFL Films trumpeting orchestral sounds in the background, while looking forward to JA putting up video game numbers in 70 degrees. Cheers!

As much as I hate the idea of playing the Fish indoors in December, overall I’m also coming around to the notion that indoors is the way to go in order to maximize ROI throughout the whole year and bring in other events including possibly the SB which the NFL seems to award all new stadium projects these days? But that wouldn’t be the sole reason to do it that way, just a contributing one. Fan experience would be another.
