  1. Just like every year, as soon as the Bills season is over, that’s it for watching anyone else too until the Super Bowl. Probably because my emotions are still too frayed and there’s bitterness about what should have been etc…
  2. Not exactly the proven commodity though for OC? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thad_Lewis
  3. I believe only high-motor guys are allowed to also bring lunch pails to work, which explains so many football sayings! 🤔
  4. Our family usually places informal bets against each other as to how many “Go Bills” we will get during the day whenever we are out basically anywhere and I’m wearing some kind of Bills gear. Usually we wind up underselling the actual number. I don’t expect that to change much going forward—I definitely agree there are bad apples in any fan base—but overall we are definitely no worse than whatever that average would be, and likely better than for a lot of other rust belt cities, imho.
  5. Where oh where is Mt. Mahomes on this list?? Nick Wright will hopefully let us know his thoughts on this soon. 🤷🏼‍♂️
  6. Here’s Joe Marino’s analysis of the playcall at the 13:46 mark: in short, he says those who think it was the wrong play/read, don’t understand progressions or have situational awareness. Agree or disagree, he offers an impassioned defense of the play design and the call.
  7. Fun Fact--The Dolphins were oh so close to drafting our boy back in the day--had him in the building and said, nah, we'd rather play against you every year! https://www.thephinsider.com/2018/1/23/16922204/dolphins-plan-to-meet-with-wyoming-qb-josh-allen-this-week
  8. Accurate. Very difficult to find the exact wide brimmed version McD favors.
  9. Mentioned this before, but there’s something to be said about owning up and taking hard questions from the media after a game like this—say what you will about our QB mistake of Peterman, but go back and check the tape—he never once ducked out after a miserable game. He was on that podium every time anyone wanted to talk to him or not. Always respected that part about him. Diggs just has to make everything more difficult than it needs to be, as now we are all here speculating about his off-season mindset and will he or won’t he turn prima donna on us…
  10. He’s under the impression that McD is a vampire 🤷🏼‍♂️…
  11. The actual end of game presser he did was very very raw and you could tell he was absolutely sick about that game ending.
  12. Clearly it’s my fault for skeejing one of those game balls threads from you. The ripple effects in the universe were incalculable, swallowing up our D and kicker in its wake—and I sincerely apologize! 🤷🏼‍♂️
  13. Knowing that we are going through the various stages of fandom grief together is definitely helpful and much appreciated! Simon, corralling all us crazies is yeoman’s work—tip of the cap to you!!
  14. Look, I absolutely am not condoning going all “Philly fanatic” the way some of our brethren did last night with the snowballs…but I’m still curious what our hive thinks would be an appropriate caption for this?
  15. Choosing to become a Bills fan is still something I will never regret or take back, no matter what.
  16. I think we all can agree we've been served up the scalps (Frazier/Dorsey) for last year's failings and this year's iffy start--now if McD can't do it with the guys that are supposed to be out there, I would agree he's at the end of the line. But I just can't throw it all at his feet given the reality of what was on the field--or did we really expect Klein to find the fountain of youth 2 weeks into a comeback gig, or Williams to suddenly be a cagey vet to go along with his speed? We only have to look at how our D was doing before Milano got hurt, to see what could've been.
  17. I'd settle for 90%. Losing Milano, Tre, Bernard, et al., that's more than we should reasonably expect. McD did a great job wringing out quality starts from average depth pieces, but it caught up to us in the end. I do believe if Frazier was calling the D, we lose by 3 scores yesterday fwiw.
  18. Would've been another classic game, I know that much!
  19. Tell me the obvious coaching blunder that led directly to this loss? If Stef, Trent, the entire D-Line and/or Bass do their job, you're not posting this poll, period. I thought the gameplan was as sound as it could be given the walking wounded on our D. This is the one year we have to give McD a pass--unless he was going to be able to suit up himself for the D, he did what he could, imho. We do need to desperately address WR in the offseason fwiw.
  20. This is exactly how Miami feels every year playing us in games that matter—basically since the Kelly days! Here’s hoping we can break the cycle, unlike the Fins…
  21. Our MASH janitorial staff that manned the ramparts for LB and CB tonight, together with a kicker suffering from the yips, say hello 👋.
  22. How did it go from Bass O Matic to this??? Of course it had to be wide right on top of everything else.
  23. That’s it Josh. Carry all of them on your back into the EZ. What a beautiful beast
