    I think this is correct. The main reason McD can't be fired is the lack of any senior assistant coach with head coaching experience who could take over. Thinking back I can't remember a time when there wasn't an obvious potential successor on the staff.

    Punts put the "foot" in football. If nobody cared about punting about half the threads on this board would never have existed. After giving up a safety, you can kick an onsides kick from your 20. Since a post-safety kickoff can either be teed up or punted, and since most teams punt, you could have your punter make an "onsides punt" which is what they tried there.

    They were just BAD, but we watched every game anyways (unless they were blacked out, then we listened to Van Miller on the radio) Oddly, the toughest game the notorious 17-0 Fins had was a one-point victory that they eked out against the hapless Bills.
