  1. Can he sing "Sweet Caroline"? Yeh, but there was a good reason for that. It gave EJ the weapon he needed for a Superbowl run, remember?
  2. Don't know if anyone else has ever done that, but nobody has done better than that for sure.
  3. You and other posters are right that White was much worse. But Mitch is a far cry from what we're used to. 3rd and 1, they give him two tries at the tush push and he comes up short. I remember twice that the announcers said he threw a "rainbow" or that he "got some air under it." We could never win a game with him at QB except against a poor team
  4. Question: can they "interview" Mayo for the job just to satisfy the Rooney Rule and then just hire Vrabel tomorrow morning?
  5. I think I've had me enough of Mitch and his noodle arm to last a lifetime. Of the 5 QBs who played today he was clearly the worst. EDIT: it's a legitimate question whether Mitch was the worst of the 5 or whether White was.
  6. I want them in the divisional round
  7. Take the week off. You, like our starters, need to rest up and be healthy for the playoffs.
  8. Don't forget the late Pancho Billa.
  9. Why, because if Trubisky goes down we're screwed?
  10. Agree. He can have the locker next to Barkevious Mingo and D'Brickashaw Ferguson.
  11. The last time I saw Jim Brown he was running from the cops.
  12. So far, I haven't been proven wrong too often. 🤪 I grew up on radio play-by-play of the Bills, Rochester Red Wings and Amerks. Nothing like it. But today I don't think I even own a radio.
  13. Kevin Harlan, calling the Bengals-Broncos game on Saturday, referred at least twice to guys hurdling other players "like they're Renaldo Nehemiah." I'm old, so I get the reference, but I couldn't help but wonder how many people who are younger than, say, 60, knew who he was talking about. Nehemiah was a track star who never competed in an Olympics (thanks to the US boycott in 1980) and who played a little football but took his last snap 40 years ago. I've noticed this a lot lately, announcers who make references to guys who played in the '60s and '70s, which probably sounds a lot to most viewers like it did to me when announcers used to say "he sure looks like YA Tittle" or some such nonsense. I'm just venting.
  14. Karlos Williams is probably the size of an offensive lineman by now.
  15. I remember him from before he had a toupee.
  16. There seems to be a new position in football over recent years, something called EDGE (not Edge, mind you, but EDGE). I think it's what we used to call Defensive End. It's been a few minutes since I was in grammar school, but if the letters are all capitalized this indicates that it is an acronym. The mystery: what is it an acronym for? After considerable thought, I have come to the idea that it stands for Early Detection Game Exploder. But I'm not sure. What do you folks think? This is really important, and since we have no Miami Haiku weeks left this season, time to put your creative minds to other constructive endeavors.
  17. Never mind the crying. Stroud played like doo-doo last night.
  18. This may be why you don't own an NFL team.
  19. Bring AJ Klein back
  20. Too lazy to start another thread but I think Mike Gillislee should be in Canton.
  21. How many times did the announcers mention Alex Van Pelt without saying he was Buffalo's starting QB for 11 games
  22. Buffalo Joe! Actually had legitimate snaps!
  23. Aesthetically, I hate the red uniforms. Practically, the Bills are 9-2 all time wearing the red jerseys, and undefeated since 2019.
  24. Alex Van Pelt has 3 wins as an offensive coordinator, which is as many wins as he had in his 9 year playing career.
