  1. I don't find it surprising at all that the Fins look like the second best in the division, in fact I thought that was pretty much everybody's opinion leading up to this year. So of course they'll have some success, may even squeak into the playoffs. Their win today was legitimately impressive and Tua had an even more impressive stat line but I think some are already forgetting how good our defense looked Week 1. Tua isn't putting up 40 against that defense. I'd put money on him getting wrecked before being successful twice. The Pats and Jets talk is pretty laughable at this point despite the Ws today. They're not in the same tier as the Dolphins even, let alone the Bills. I'm well past thinking Belicheat is some wizard that can turn Mac Jones and that dismal roster into a legitimate playoff team this year. A 3 point win over an also mediocre Steelers team isn't changing that for me.
  2. True and I agree, but yet he's still right now making 55 yard grabs and has put together a $70 million and counting career. By all accounts he's a decent player that still has skills and has had success, but yet to your point he's a bust at the same time. Just a weird player.
  3. Sammy has had the weirdest career and I honestly enjoy still seeing him make plays like that
  4. He’ll be absent after the Bills stomp the Titans tomorrow, or rather will post some lazy Savior Edwards like wannabe contrarian “analysis” of why it won’t be enough to compete with Miami. Book it.
  5. “Will do good just to split” he says, as if the Bills are the inferior team. This is pretty lazy trolling, step it up please. I mean when people are actually claiming that the Fins will win the division “easily” like Filthybeast does it really deserve much more than an lol? Again, “win the division easily”. Incredibly hard to take stuff like that seriously.
  6. Denver is a bottom 5 AFC team. Been saying it, Russ is not Allen level elite. Possibly far from it at this point. And oh boy at the few crowning Tua already lol. Yeah good luck with that, very sustainable performance. I’m sure you’ll still be quite confident of your decision come week 15, or hell even 10.
  7. Cincy still scares me. I think Buffalo is far better and hey, we lost to Pittsburgh Week 1 last year too. They just have too many weapons on paper and Joe Mixon is probably the most underrated back in the league. I think they'll pull it together and make a run at some point. And then the usual suspects out West - KC, Vegas, San Diego. AFC West is going to be a meat grinder. Not Denver though. Glad the Broncos hype finally subsided, I've been calling that since last year. Russ is not a top tier QB any more and considering the division I wouldn't be surprised if the Donkeys are bottom-5 in the AFC by year's end.
  8. Justin Jefferson is right there with Ja'Marr Chase as current best wideout talent in the game. No doubt about it. Nothing to do with Diggs, they're completely different situations and I love our guy, but Jefferson is incredible. If you want to crown him the best offensive talent in the NFC, I wouldn't argue with you. But I have no faith that Kirk Cousins will win a ring or even sniff the conference game and I'm quite sure we'll see this team start to really sputter and disappoint by about week 14 or so because of it.
  9. Dak looks pretty awful
  10. Fair enough, and I'm sure like anything with two extremes it will land right in the middle, with GB fighting but barely missing the playoffs. I just definitely don't think they're an NFC top-3, and I cannot fathom what that front office is doing. It's as if they're trolling Rodgers at this point with that offense.
  11. All in good fun, but there's been a small faction on here, including myself, that have been saying that GB is going to put up a miserable year. These takes have been met by a similarly small but ardent faction that tend to think that Rodgers and Green Bay are untouchable shoe-ins for the playoffs. Well, advantage for team Green Bay sucks after week 1. And it's not surprising - who the hell is Rodgers going to throw to this year? I sincerely think they're going to win less than 6 games.
  12. Top 10 potential, as in uh, a top-10 running back in the entire league? This may be the first mistake
  13. Chargers/Raiders and Chiefs/Cards but I have a soft spot for Detroit and think that Philly/Detroit game could be fun. Detroit has a great o-line and could do something this year and Philly is supposed to be loaded. I'm not entirely sure I believe that personally but I'll be checking in to see.
  14. Definitely, I was impressed. Loved Diggs putting up big numbers in Week 1 as well. Didn't see much Knox tonight although there are only so many balls to go around, but just one thing I'll be keeping an eye on. Just an observation, I don't really care who puts up the points.
  15. Lol Anyway, this team looked unstoppable in the second half. Two key positive second half developments in my opinion - Greg Rousseau domination and Jamison Crowder's emerging safety valve status
  16. Dude 2 hours of drunken WGR call slop is part of the new season ritual, I love it
  17. WGR is back. What a perfect night. Only kicking myself that I didn't take tomorrow off. I wouldn't put much stock in Von's post-game comments. As somebody else said he was just trying to be diplomatic, and as a Denver native, Von's just kind of a weirdo sometimes. But he's our weirdo thank god. He was taking videos screaming with Josh pretty much immediately after that slightly awkward interview.
  18. This is awesome. Great info but not totally sure how it skews based on those comments. The Quintin Morris usage throws me off, but perhaps they really like him. Can't tell if more reps at this point means you're earning the position or that we're testing you out because we're not sure, but I think it's also very interesting to see Hodgins at 50+% ST reps. Clearly trying to see what he can contribute. By that logic it would seem the 10-20% of reps for Kumerow, Howard, Johnson indicates that they're gone? Could have it completely flipped in which case they're safe and high usage = cuts, but I don't think so. Would seem like a stretch to conserve all of Kumerow, Howard, Johnson.
  19. Saw that he made himself very vocally available to the Bills on Twitter and didn't even realize he was out of the league for so long. What was his deal exactly? He was a top punter in the league and then he was a bit of a distraction and was gone? I can't find anything about an injury or drop in performance. Honestly sounds like he was so annoying that it pushed him out of the league.
  20. I mean it's my name dude I'm sorry if that reaction floors you. Your tangent is interesting.
  21. It's actually also my name but hey heck of a jump. I'll change the pic if it bothers you that much.
  22. The argument that this now shows Bills players that management doesn't have their back may truly be the dumbest thing I've read all week. No, I'm pretty sure that's not the takeaway. I can almost guarantee that veterans who aren't rapists aren't second guessing leadership because of a rookie who at minimum made some absolutely terrible decisions. I wouldn't doubt if some are relieved that they don't have to deal with this distraction.
  23. Great move. Had to be done. People are apparently recoiling at the awful details, but yet you still have the handful of always contrarians that feel he, of all people, got a bad deal...
  24. As has been said I'd say Green Bay shuffled the decked and moved on more than KC who still has Kelce and a bunch of weapons. I've had this argument a few times here this offseason but I think we're going to be surprised by how awful Green Bay is this year. I know they still have some stars on defense and in the trenches but most of them were hurt last year on top of their awful wide receiver group. I bet we're going to see a full melt-down from Rodgers this season, the likes of which we've never seen before. So to answer your question, it's too early to tell. I personally can't see any advantage to shedding your #1 to go with a bunch of unproven scrubs, but we'll certainly find out by watching GB.
  25. Pretty sure he's popped up here a few times in various forms. Any time the Bills lose a game they shouldn't there's always some very opinionated new poster or somebody who hasn't posted in 2 years that has his troll-like cadence down perfectly. Will blow up a stupid loss to the Jags into questioning whether Allen is really a #1 for example. QBs are his angle, and it's so obvious that Josh is incredible that it's probably very hard to run that schtick right now I would imagine.
