I watch the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown shows. They are good. Have you seen the show with the "carrot in a box" segment?

WR Cole Beasley (Dallas) to the Bills
BritBill replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Interestingly, I listened to the Sky Sports "Inside the Huddle" podcast this morning and one of the hosts, Jeff Reinbold, explained one of the Bills personnel team called him some time before the Super Bowl to get his take on Beasley as a person and what his character was like from a young age. This one wasn't a snap reaction to missing out on other WR targets. -
I was a garbage man in Venice for 3 years so yeah.

I'd put chilli on chips (fries to you guys) and nachos. I wouldn't dream of putting soup on either. That would be crazy talk. In conclusion, I don't recognise chilli as a soup.

Anybody have any tips on the best way to get from either downtown Toronto or Pearson Airport to Buffalo? So far I've looked at the Greyhound and Amtrak. Both look fairly painless. For information I don't want to hire a car. Thanks.

The "Minsters" don't always get the recognition they deserve. Very subtle, satirical humour. For a more modern Britcom give Derry Girls a go.

I've been making a bobby dazzler of a tomato soup the last few months. Chopped tomatoes Sun dried tomatoes Celery Chillies Red Onion Garlic Paprika Vegetable Stock Stick it all in the slow cooker for 8 hours. Whizz in a food processor to smooth. Ensures there's enough for 4 lunches at work during the week.

The Ebor Festival isn't until August?!

If you like The Young Ones then you'll appreciate Bottom. I'd like to add The Inbetweeners to the modern day list to watch. Yes, The Office was released 2000/1 over here. Brilliantly done.

One of my favourite subjects! There are a few of the old classics I'd recommend: Only Fools & Horses Porridge Citizen Smith The there are a few more modern ones: I'm Alan Partridge Phoenix Nights Early Doors Of course, comedy is just like food, music and looking for a partner, everyone had different tastes. I never found Keeping Up Appearances funny although anyone we see now wearing a scruffy white vest immediately gets christened "Onslow". The actor who plays Onslow (Geoffrey Hughes) also plays a character in the above mentioned Early Doors. Sadly, Hughes is no longer with us. Are You Being Served from what I remember was very innuendo laden? Mrs Slocambe going on about her "*****" quite a lot. Typical 70's British fayre. Come Fly with me is more of a mocumentary than a sitcom. Some of the characters are funny, some not so much. If you like Come Fly With me than I suggest Little Britain to you.

I watch plenty of cricket but I've never seen much or enough women's cricket to notice the level of appealing for LBW. if I ever finding myself watching a game I'll take notice. I think the Men's T20 the LBW appeals are normal but the batsmen are moving around the crease more and therefore getting an LBW decision is harder. Of course, the difference between bowling in T20 to Tests is that you're trying to restrict runs in T20 but get the batsmen out in Tests.

I took my little one to RAW in Manchester last night. A decent few hours of entertainment. Elias stole the show. Anyone any wiser what is going on at Survivor Series?!

What’s on the menu for the 1st NFL Sunday?
BritBill replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ah, excellent. I loved a bit of Goughy too. His Ashes hat trick will live long in the memory. I've only made it to Headingley once this season and that was the first T20 game v Durham. Yorkshire are quietly having an awful season. On and off the field. -

I remember my first ever pint. It was rancid but I grew to love it. You could get three pints of it for a fiver back in those days (1998). It's not much above £2 a pint now. I'll have to pop back one night soon, see some friends and find out. There's a pub in York called The King's Arms. It's fairly famous as it floods every year. That's a Sam Smith's hostelry. Try and get a Steak & Ale pie. Food of the Gods. Rhubarb crumble and custard. You'll be living the dream with that my friend. -

Being from London he wouldn't turn up. Flip flops and burritos are no tools for a fight. ? -

My local pub growing up was a Sam Smith. The brewery is only 12 miles away so it was cheap. And strong. Many a cheap good night to be had on Smith's lager. Absolute poppycock. -

I'd say the only weakness people from Yorkshire have is their pizza making ability. They're are **** hot at everything else. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. They'll be wrong. -

What are the other options? Bangers and mash are pretty awesome though. -

Having Yorkshire's tonight (living in York and all that!). With sausage and mash though. I normally have a plate of vegetable spring rolls around 9pm. Washed down with root beer. -

Can anybody point me in the right direction of a wings recipe please? Hotter the better. Thanks in advance. -
England v Spain at Wembley on Saturday. I've been so focused on our holiday and the NFL season starting I've totally forgotten about this. There's also an NFL exhibition/season start celebration on Piccadilly in London during the day. I'll have to consult the bank account to see if we can get down there for both of these events. Incidentally, Sky Sports have stopped showing live La Liga games. A new company called Eleven Sports have taken over the broadcast rights. It's online only and owned by the Leeds United owner. Left me in a proper quandary. Do I pay extra to watch La Liga knowing the money will go towards funding the club I have the least respect for in the world?!

There was a small bar over the road from our hotel. It was a bar for the locals and they had the game on two large screens. I sat and had a few bottles of Estrella and my little boy enjoyed a coke. Father and son enjoying a game together. Perfect. Madrid won 4-1 too after going a goal down. My son is a big Luka Modric fan and got to see him come on late in the game.

Sat here waiting for the Spanish season to start. We're heading to Majorca next week but the fixture list hasn't fallen kindly. Real Mallorca are playing away on the Saturday so we won't get to see a game. Looked at jumping on the ferry to Bareclona but it's just a bit too long a trip to justify it. We'll find a bar/restaurant to watch Real Madrid on the Sunday night though.

Predict the division winner: AFC West
BritBill replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
1. Chargers 2. Chiefs 3. Broncos 4. Raiders 2nd and 3rd places are the most debatable.
