  1. When I'm deciding which London game to go to each year (I always do just one) my thought process is: 1. Are the Bills playing? If no, go to 2. 2. Scratch any game with the Jags in it (go to 3) 3. Have you not seen any of the other teams play? If so choose a game with a team you've not seen play yet.
  2. First confirmed cases here in the UK and the infected were in a hotel in my city. Anyway, I’ve just called the corona virus hotline and Tony Romo answered. Odd.
  3. Alaska not playing games. Full hand right up there leading from the front.
  4. The word “soccer” taken from shortening of the word “association”. I maybe wrong but I think this was first seen in the 1950s.
  5. Plenty of soccer on over here but I’m getting to the point now where I’ve seen that many games there isn’t much which excites me about the game anymore. England are playing a cricket test match in South Africa so will dip in and out of that over both weekend days. I’m taking my son to his flag football session tomorrow morning which he loves and I enjoy watching him play his new favourite sport. He really has developed an affection and understanding of the game this year.
  6. The QB reminds me of Roberto, The Waterboy’s father. I’ve just watched the first episode and as someone else has mentioned the QB’s dad is coming across as though this is his breakout role and it’s Hollywood all the way from here. Both very strange people. Whether that makes them untrustworthy I don’t know.
  7. With these acts and an extended half time I reckon I could set a new PB.
  8. They do not. Well, not that any I’ve been to anyway. Yes. Jerry Hughes was held so bad on the game winning TD throw too.
  9. He royally dicked that game right up yet we still should have won.
  10. The Spurs stadium is mint. The work they put into making it an NFL stadium was more than worth it. IF the Bills do play in London I'd prefer it to be at Tottenham.
  11. A defensive abomination of a game. Makes me sick to the stomach.
  12. All the years I've wondered what would happen if a horse fertilised a giraffe.......
  13. I played my son at Madden earlier. Bills v Texans. Game ended 14-7 Texans. We picked Watson twice but couldn’t do anything on offense. Zay Jones dropped at least 5 passes. So taking into account Jones won’t be playing I’m going to say 24-14 Bills.
  14. Ah, down south then. Enjoy your Beefeater meal!
  15. You guys making me envious with the beef on weck talk.
  16. Game kicks off at 9:30pm over here so it’ll be a rascal of a day. Also, both my father and father in law are in hospital (the same hospital as bad luck would have it) at the moment so we’ll be visiting a couple of wards during the day. When the game eventually arrives it’ll be a welcome distraction. I can’t wait. Go Bills. Where in the UK have you been?
  17. Take it Suck Hodges is the QB?
  18. Up there for thinking. Down there for dancing.
  19. "Personal Foul. Roughing the passer. Defense, number 17. Fifteen yard penalty. Automatic, first down".
  20. I had this feeling once the draft was over this team would be different. Maybe not in terms of amazing individual talent but playing and acting in a way which would win games and also give everything they had to a fanbase so deserving of a special team. I didn't think we'd be sitting here at 10-4 before Christmas. I didn't think we'd be going into Foxborough in week 16 thinking, no, expecting a win. It might might not happen but there's a belief there now. And while I'm sure you guys having an attachment to the city of Buffalo and WNY itself feel it stronger, I've not felt so strongly about a Bills team than I ever have before. I knew in April this team had something, some kind of spirit. I'm so glad I made the effort to get over for a game in September and witness it for the first time. For the first time ever we're getting respect here in the UK NFL media. It did have to be earned. This is just the start.
  21. Not sure yet! The pub we’re playing poker in is a Sports bar. Think it’s a treehouse so not tied to a particular brewery. I’ll have to see what’s available. The good news is the pub over the road to it is our old local Sam’s and has just reopened after refurbishment. I’ll call in there before poker to see who’s about and grab a Sam’s lager.
  22. Our Aussie friend covered it. We have the option of buying subscribing various Sky packages for a monthly fee - movies, sports, entertainment, kids etc. There are currently 9 sports channel available to purchase. Sky show live NFL on Sky Sports Action. They show TNF, SNF, MNF then also pick a game each from the 1pm (ET) and 4/4.25pm (ET). They also show any games played at special times like Thanksgiving and this Saturday. The Bills have been shown on Sky a fair few times the last week plus the first Patriots game earlier in the season was selected. Games did used to be shown on free to air channels back in the 80s and 90s. That’s when I got into the sport and came to the Bills as my team.
  23. It's live on Sky Sports here in the UK at 9:30pm. What a perfect time. Our annual poker night as well which starts at 5:30pm. Poker, beer and a Bills win. Life. Love it.
