  1. We're not going to go too far if we keep getting down by 10+ points then!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. I didn't play my usual game of Tecmo before the game. This one is on me. Also I quit drinking and last year I was drunk all the time and we were awesome...sorry everyone.
  3. We should get a separate thread for every single reason why "the Bills won't go very far...if x,y,z doesn't go right".
  4. But, it was one game. Only 2 teams have ever won every game in the regular season. It was one game. If yesterday's performance repeats for the next several games then it might be time to worry. But, similarly, if we beat the stuffing out of the Steelers yesterday it wouldn't mean we were going to the Super Bowl. Its just one game in a long (and now even longer) season.
  5. If you are using McVay as a prime example of excellent coaching...go back and watch the Rams SB against NE from 2018 and study McVay's face for that game. Completely outcoached. It happens. It was ONE FREAKING GAME MAN. Step back from the ledge.
  6. There was NO preseason last year and that produced the best QB year we've ever seen here.
  7. This kind of reminds me of the 49ers game when even the announcers were saying things like "we haven't seen Josh Allen run yet". I guess even announcers don't always do their homework. Josh is clearly a throw first QB (stats don't lie), and while he will definitely take off if he needs to, he clearly has progressed in the "trust your receivers" department enough that he still defaults to getting those guys the ball before bailing.
  8. Damn...20 minutes later and an extra 26k votes and now the Bills are down 58% to 42%.
  9. Should make for some hilarious question and answer with BB. Two of the most monotone people I've ever heard.
  10. Refresh me on that...that had come up last year, correct? Opposing Defenses had said something about that right?
  11. Interesting that the Bills won with more votes than the Browns/Broncos had in total (~69,700 votes for Buffalo vs. Steelers and ~60,000 total votes cast for the Browns vs. Broncos).
  12. This is exactly how I won my league. Had Allen and Diggs and they won it for me in that Pats game.
  13. I was in the Coast Guard in a training and we all got dismissed without knowing what was going on but I remember the officers split FAST and I remembee thinking it seemed odd but all made sense soon enough unfortunately. Sad day in world history. I still think about all those poor souls on that day. Awful.
  14. True for sure. But the reaction to his release has been a little surprising.
  15. He's the new Duke Williams/Christian Wade.
  16. Love your avatar pic. That's one of my favorite Maiden albums.
  17. I honestly couldn't believe you didn't call him Joshy in your title. How does one miss that opportunity?!
  18. I trust this front office. They have had many more hits than misses. They must have their reasons and who knows, Hollister could be back. I don't work in an NFL front office (for a reason). I trust these guys know what they are doing.
  19. The weird thing about these lists is the seeming lack of weighted value of the player. For instance, Allen at 10 and TJ Watt at 9. There is no universe where Watt would affect the outcome of as many games as Allen does. I would still take the elite QB over the elite LB/DE any day.
  20. Being objective, I went with KC. They've been the 1 seed, what 3 years in a row? I don't see them slowing down too much barring injuries. But who knows...
  21. While the fumble was definitely fortuitous, I personally wouldn't call it a fluke. Zimmer clearly was going to punch the ball out (obviously doesn't always work). Plus I do think Josh's shoulder injury and the crazy weather played a part in that game (to be fair Cam's prior illness probably did too). I agree overall though. I can see a split, but being swept by NE would honestly shock me (barring injuries).
  22. They have NE going 11-6. I just don't see that jump for them yet based on the roster. And I also don't see us swept by them. I'm not sitting here thinking we're now going 6-0 in the division every year, but I don't think we get swept by anyone in the division.
