Where was the leadership - Von Miller?
Johnnycage46 replied to Returntoglory's topic in The Stadium Wall
He's only 17 years old. Give him time! -
Free Agents and Offseason Situation

That's one of our big issues though. And lack of talent. -
So what is the first coach or domino to fall?
Johnnycage46 replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't think they will change OC or DC...probably so position group coach as sacrificial lambs. McDermott is too stubborn and arrogant to make the big changes needed. -
God that is depressing but also likely

Said he was banged up. Chilax homer
-
He is definitely washed now. Really banged up but looks old and slow. Shame it ends this way for him here.

But we're humble and hungry!!

So...is it a rebuild or is it a try again?
Johnnycage46 replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall
But will they? Mcd is stubborn. I don't see any staff changed actually happening. And Beane will draft a RB round 1 and and reach for d line -
Who are you rooting for next week? Cincy or KC?
Johnnycage46 replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Is there any way they can both lose next week? That would be ideal. Or a feel good story -
You're a troll. That's on you.

Now we just need @Caesar to comment then our day is complete. Do you have no shame? Nobody wants to hear faux consoling.

Josh looked really defeated in his press conference.

I can envision a 30 for 30 some day about the wasted talent of Josh Allen with Buffalo. How he was on the rise, made amazing plays, but coaching, personnel decisions, etc. relegated him to a passing memory. Classic Bills stuff.- 136 replies

I think his prime years have already been wasted based on the rise of the rest of the AFC. We missed the window last year and now we aren't just behind KC (as we will likely be forever), but also Cincy. Miami and Jets (assuming they find a QB) will push us for the division as well. Chargers, if they stop Chargering will also be in the mix. -

If by few you mean completely new offensive and defensive lines, new safeties, better corners, an actual pass rusher, a new/better OC, a change in conservative/scared defensive philosophy, 3 new WRs...then I totally agree with you. -
Fixed it for you

We're turning into the Rivers Chargers...really good regular seasons and just blow it in the playoffs.
-
We won't so long as the rest of the conference keeps improving. We'll be lucky to win the division next year if the Dolphins don't go on losing streaks and the Jets find a QB. Bengals and Chiefs are clearly in another class than us. So we're going to be scraping into the playoffs and will probably be perennial one-and-done or won-and-not-done but lose easily in the divisional round. Fun!
-
Exactly. The division is strengthening as is the conference...while the Bills seem to be regressing a bit (yes, statistically the offense was on par with last year's). This is the window I worry about...not so much that the Bills are no longer good, just that the rest of the conference is getting better and better to the point where we are basically going to be neck-and-neck with like 5 other teams.
-
I know this hasn't been talked about in a long time...but it still sucks that we traded with KC and they got Mahomes and we got White (who will likely never be exactly the same after his knee injury). Cosmic joke that one.
-
He won one and lost another. Cowher coached the 2005 SB win. Still he did win a SB...but just not 2.
-
We are in early to mid round playoff exit purgatory, while burrow is playing to get to his 2nd SB or Mahomes to his 3rd. This team is never going to win a SB with McDermott. Never prepared, always outcoached.
