I think the Dolphins game was our super Bowl. Same as last 2 years at KC early in the year. Team made everything look hard after those 2 games each year. And again this year. Not sure why, but this team just disappears.

I think it's going to be a lot closer than people think...teams seem to find a way to correct their issues when playing us from time to time. I have a medium level of worry. If the game is tight going into the 3rd quarter I will likely be pretty worried.

It's nice when it actually pays off. If you think of all the money we've all spent on insurance over the years (homeowners, car, etc.) that we (thankfully) didn't need most of the time, it's nice when it comes in handy!

So we have a pretty old furnace (20+ years old) and it wasn't kicking on for the year. A tech came out yesterday and had to replace the inverter motor and got the furnace running. When paying for the service he was trying to sell me on the Gold Seal program and I was hesitant but I said what the hell ($22 a month for 2 years and it's an old furnace so I figured it's like another streaming service). About 2 hours after he left the furnace stopped working and it started to faintly smell like burning plastic. Called them up and they sent someone out this afternoon. Apparently the ancient electronics board burned out yesterday after he left and they had to replace it today. All told it would have been $1,600+ to fix...but it was all free (trip out, diagnostics, parts, labor, etc.) because I'm the proud owner of a Gold Seal lol. Anyone have any good stories where a seemingly unnecessary add-on service plan actually paid off big time?

I played in the NFL and also coached at the same time. I was the guy who threw the ball on offense and tackling guy on defense. Then when I coached I was the head guy who made the rules and the buck stopped with me. And I was the team owner and the buck stopped with me there too.

I expect a closer-than-many-expect game. Of course, the last 2 weeks for the Bills offense maybe sparks them to execute and get into a rhythm and put up points early. If we get into a close game and let the Pats hang around that plays into the Patriots favor similar to the Giants game. Hopefully we can come out and put some good scoring drives together early to get the early breathing room and hopefully force some mistakes from the Pats.
