  1. The weird thing about these lists is the seeming lack of weighted value of the player. For instance, Allen at 10 and TJ Watt at 9. There is no universe where Watt would affect the outcome of as many games as Allen does. I would still take the elite QB over the elite LB/DE any day.
  2. Being objective, I went with KC. They've been the 1 seed, what 3 years in a row? I don't see them slowing down too much barring injuries. But who knows...
  3. While the fumble was definitely fortuitous, I personally wouldn't call it a fluke. Zimmer clearly was going to punch the ball out (obviously doesn't always work). Plus I do think Josh's shoulder injury and the crazy weather played a part in that game (to be fair Cam's prior illness probably did too). I agree overall though. I can see a split, but being swept by NE would honestly shock me (barring injuries).
  4. They have NE going 11-6. I just don't see that jump for them yet based on the roster. And I also don't see us swept by them. I'm not sitting here thinking we're now going 6-0 in the division every year, but I don't think we get swept by anyone in the division.
  5. Pretty positive he can't do that due to the players' union. That decision would have to be agreed upon between the union and the NFL.
  6. This right here is my argument against the "my body, my choice" stance with Cole. While, yes it is his choice to not get vaxed, his actions could really, really screw the whole team. Sucks.
  7. If you are in the Buffalo market the games on NFL network will be on local channel. Same happened to me but was able to catch it early and change the recording.
  8. Daboll and Allen are on the latest podcast...about 30 minutes of content with the 2 of them. Pretty fun, good natured interview.
  9. Alien and Aliens, T1 and T2, and Robocop are still classic, awesome sci fi movies. I usually rewatch them every year or so and they still hold up great IMO
  10. I get it. But it does seem to be that there is an even greater urgency with the media (especially with the advent of social media as a platform) for the media to trip over itself with the latest hot take...lots of "old takes exposed" get created that way.
  11. Twitter was also blowing up last night with a large contingency saying that Jones looked like a seasoned 10-year vet. I guess it goes both ways. When Allen came out he was trashed relentlessly on a throw-by-throw basis by the media. I thought Jones looked comfortable in his first preseason start. And that's probably as far as any of us can go based on his play time yesterday. But I think the media gets bored of waiting and loves to hyperbolize everything.
  12. Oh, I'm enjoying the hell out of it. We have a great team and the future is bright!
  13. Almost as funny as a Patriots fan posting on a Bills fan forum...
  14. I'm sure Beane and Co. didn't just pull a number out of the air...they appear to be very organized with ever present eye on the future. I'm sure they know what they are doing.
  15. Nothing wrong with outside the box thinking...but starting a new thread for every thought that pops into someone's head gets a little hard to keep up with.
  16. Agreed. Jury selection almost becomes the most important event of any trial. If, for instance, there is a high-profile case with a polarizing nature to it, whichever lawyer is able to be more effective with the jury selection begins the trial with a huge advantage.
  17. I'm just happy to see @Sherlock Holmes using laughing emojis instead of the usual vomit emoji...was worried for a while there!
