these were kind of my thoughts... When was that percentage tabulated? Including dead money? Only current number of salaries on contract? With $80+m under the cap or total salary cap? Lots of unanswered questions about the OP's 5% claim. Amazing thing I learned about statistics in college. You really can make them say any story you wish it to say. On another side, we brought him in to improve our Run D and our run D got better. Better ILB play from our young kid and run D gets even better.

GB Packers hire Nate Hackett as OC
TheBeane replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This was my thought as well. I remember Hackett brought some creative ideas to the Offensive game plan, and wanted to do some of that super hurry up no huddle offense that was all the rage. That didn't work because we didn't have the talent (mainly QB) to handle it and Marrone suggest to run run run. I kind of think if you separate the Hackett from the Moron, I mean Marrone, and he might have a better game plan. -

ESPN- Best and Worst FA signings of 2018

Was really expecting to see the Star signing on this list. Seems like a lot of people from the outside looking in, thought that he didn't produce on the stats so he was a failure. However Star really solidified our front 4 and took on multiple blocks. Unsung hero that I am happy to pay the $50m over the next 5 years. -
I'm all for this as long as: #1 both of them come to camp healthy and ready to play. Both still have some value, more McCoy than Clay, but both can still play. #2 Bills FO doesn't go into the season as McCoy the #1 RB and Clay #1 TE w/o a viable alternative option at both positions. I think both of those guys can still produce in the right situation.

Sounds like Dolphins are headed for full rebuild in 2019

I was really hoping those rumors they were interested in Rexy were true... Would have been guaranteed dumpster fires for the next few years in both NYJ with Gase and Miami with Rex. -

Bills have released Kelvin Benjamin and Andre Holmes

After reading that interview with Beane about the offseason, this makes sense. Want to give the young bucks as much playing time as possible. Clear out the dead weight. -
Does this post get the nomination for "worst post of the day"?

Kind of how I feel about the entire matter and it does feel like we have some basic foundation (on defense) that has been built. Then next year they hopefully try to fill in the gaping holes on offense. Realized yesterday during the game, that with the bills so horrible, it has completely freed up my Sundays for this season. So we have that going for us...

Josh Allen is all that matters

Couldn't agree with this post more. Is this a horrible season to be a bills fan? OF COURSE!!! But we should of, and some of us did, seen this coming. I'm almost certain that there were internal conversations within One Bills Drive that prepped all involved for this being a "bottoming out" season. Not for nothing, but I remember TONS of posters on this site for quite a few years claiming that we needed to hit rock bottom. We had season after season of having a record between 7-9 to 9-7 and never completely bottomed out and had the chance to completely rebuild. Well guess what... that's happening now!! -

Derek Anderson injury - in concussion protocol

Not a horrible idea... Offense is S#!+show, and TP usually fixes that problem for me at least once a day. Get creative and put Pryor at QB and let him run all over the place. -
