  1. He also posted a survey asking where he was going; A)To the Arctic B) To Minnesota Then some pictures of him in the snow on an ATV. Looks more like a vacation than anything. Guess he could of had a contract discussions while there, but how does this have anything to do with the Bills?
  2. Did I miss something? This is the second time I've seen him mentioned as K'Neal Harry when it is N'Keal Harry. Is there some inside joke that I can't keep up with or are people just mixed up? ?
  3. Carlos Hyde, S Tashaun Gipson and RT Jermey Parnell all also released by the Jags. Take a look at Hyde and Parnell....
  4. I would just say never say never. Always a bad practice in business and in life to completely turn off an option when it first doesn't make sense. Better deal, better situation.
  5. I don't think we are completely pulled out. I def think Beane is pissed that it leaked and that Pitt leaked it to drive up the asking price from other teams. If anything this has driven down AB's asking price as on paper it looks like Pitt lost another suitor for AB. So if they hold their water and come back later today with a lesser offer, could still happen. Really don't care either way. Would be nice to have an awesome play maker on this team, but for the right price and someone who actually wants to play.
  6. Paradis or Morse.... Leaning a little more towards Morse just because he's a little younger and can develop longer with JA, but either would be an awesome signing.
  7. I get the impression from previous drafts, and what they say, that their game plan is to just see what falls to them in each round. Trade back if there are multiple prospects available that are high on their draft board, or trade up if they feel like they might lose out on a high prospect. So I think you are absolutely correct in saying "take whatever top talent falls to us at 9", but if they see the top talent at 9 being a WR I don't think they would hesitate to grab that WR. Same can be said for any position group. BPA...BPA....BPA....
  8. I think you're about right. I was walking in to work this morning semi-excited about upcoming free agency and the amount of cap space we have to be active. I had to temper my enthusiasm because I think they'll be active, but not crazy. I think they might get 1 or 2 high-mid level free agents, but then a lot of hole fillers like they have done the last few years. Draft is this regime's bread and butter. Plug holes in FA with a lot of short term contracts. Then draft BPA for the long term solutions.
  9. Felt the same way... Saw all the non-QBs going off the board before the 9 spot. This would def be a worst case scenario, unless one of the QB needy teams got nervous about missing out and having their pick of the QBs and offer a trade to us. If the top 10 were to unfold like this, I think the best thing to happen would be a trade down for us.
  10. I was looking at this list last night. Seems to me a lot of later round OL. Might be thinking of passing on the OL in the 1st round and going with a WR/TE or DL. I'm rooting for a trade down and TJ!!
  11. Understand the goal of 25, but we averaged only 16 - 17 last year. With that in mind I think an improvement to 21 would be a realistic goal.
  12. If I could give that 5 thumbs up, I still don't think it would be enough!
  13. Yes and no.... Saffold and Morse/Paradis will certainly cost a nice chunk of change. However the rookie drafted at #9 overall, no matter the position, is going to cost only approx $3.5M towards the cap in 2019. Not a huge cap it. Now if you are talking Cap space and draft capital combined as a measuring stick, that would def. be a lot into 1 position group. However I once again would make the argument that the O-Line needs that kind of attention.
  14. I get what you're saying, but why does it have to go one way or another? I still say you go BPA at 9 or trade down or whatever. If that BPA happens to be an O-lineman, take the kid! Our O-line needs as much help as it can get. Giving JA time to throw, and Shady holes to run through will make everyone look better.
  15. Ya'know... Combine, free agency, the process... Say a lot of words with out really saying anything. Typical off season propaganda. All that good stuff.
  16. Seriously? How does this all work out under the cap? Not sure we would be able to sign all those FAs. I like the idea of some complete overhauls on our Offense, but not sure how realistic this might be. Good thoughts put in though!
  17. 6'5, 250 and can high point a ball in coverage with the best WR out there? Reminds me of someone else that we have been facing 2 times a year (and getting killed by) for the past few years. I'm all for it! Draft TJ, trade for John Ross, and maybe pick up another speedster with some height in the draft. Would be able to stretch the field with speed and then just toss it up to TJ. Sounds like the perfect compliment to Josh Allen's talents.
  18. I'd be more than willing to throw a late round pick for him. Why not? You have just as much chance having a WR drafted in rounds 4 - 7 becoming serviceable as you do Ross.
  19. This was exactly what I was thinking. If we traded back and picked up another 2nd rounder, I could definitely see them coming back up into the 1st round to get someone else they like. They already have a lot of picks, and if they added more, we would be moving around again and again.
  20. I get that... However, when you are doing a specific article on the AFC East, and AFC East only teams, that article is only requiring you to look at 35ish players, you should do your freaking home work on those 35 or so players. Not the 500+ in the entire league.
  21. The comments about Star completely ruined the entire article for me. Obviously the writer doesn't know how much Beane/McDermott value Star. So what dont they know about other teams??
  22. Beane has said numerous times that we won't draft strictly for need, it will be BPA. Also with K.W. retiring, it is arguably a need.
  23. I feel you... My wife never seems to be impressed when I call out things like that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
