  1. So would you say that what you are pushing at would work in conjunction with each other? What I mean is... It is very likely, at this point, that we are looking at the #1 overall pick. So, like you said, hopefully some of the quarterbacks come into the limelight and cause a team to want to make a trade with us to get up at the top. Then we pick a little bit lower and because of this a Bosa, Oliver or Jonah Williams getting pushed down a few picks to then where we will be picking?
  2. I find it pretty hard to base "not very good" when you're dealing with the lack of talent on the field each week.
  3. Better Plan eh?? Daboll already in trouble? Seems like I have heard this story before... Happens about every 2 years. Wash, rinse, repeat...
  4. Just a barely 21 year old rookie... need to freakin' relax! If by the end of the season or the end of next season he's still making rookie mistakes, then there is something to worry about.
  5. So we won 9 games last year. We fielded a team that was good enough to win 9 games. So instead of winning 9 games we game plan to lose them all? Because that would have been what it took to only POTENTIALLY get the #1 overall pick with the Browns at 0 - 16. And how does that exactly occur if you have the talent to win 9 games? Do you go out of your way to game plan to lose every game? With the personality it takes to be a NFL Player/Coach, that is just not possible. I do not have delusions that we are going to the playoffs again this year, or winning more than 5 or 6 games, but one game does not a season make.
  6. I think we'll see the Tuh-ROD we know and love... Holds onto the ball, doesn't take chances, and makes a crazy play on the run.
  7. I was looking yesterday and thought we were only going to get the stuff Giants game. This is great news!
  8. I think you're absolutely correct. I dont think they go out there and way over spend. They maybe bring in 1 higher end, go after a bunch of moderately priced FAs, then a bunch of camp bodies. It's all about keeping our own, finding talent through the draft, and patching small holes with FAs.
  9. Well TT is going to be a hall of famer and Mayfield will never see the field.
  10. Then Tre received a metal elbow to the back of his head. With Edmunds being the same size as Gronk I guarantee that outcome being a little different.
  11. Much like any other bubble team in the league, it'll come down to injuries. Our starting D should be very good, but if we get hit with injuries (especially LB) we'll be in trouble. Injuries to OL and WR would hurt a lot as well. Just continue working on building a good overall team, and then the depth comes next.
  12. I didn't realize it when I was initially writing it. However, now that you are pointing it out, you are absolutely correct! haha
  13. I hope this is wrong and that Shaq is LIGHTS OUT this season and then have to pay him a substantial contract in a few years. I highly doubt we get much more than a 4th rounder if we try to trade him.
  14. I agree that this is very valid thread. Especially with multiple reports coming out all week about how lucky the Browns are to be getting TT and that he might be the Browns best QB in a decade. Reality will set in when game 1 comes around and he holds the ball for 4 seconds, takes a sack and doesn't throw it to an open receiver.
  15. Good thing about Star's deal is that only half is guaranteed and there is a potential out after the 3rd year. So if it doesn't pay off we can get out of the contract after 3 years. Might be a lot of money, but a smart deal in that we can get out of it.
  16. Would love for at least one of these late round or UDFA WRs to make something happen. Lots of unknowns in the WR room.
  17. Would be awesome if NP became a viable option. Just need a few worthwhile starts out of him and/or AJ to delay Allen's push into the starting line up. It's in Allen's best interest to delay that as long as possible. Also could create some trade bait...
  18. Well you can't say all 3 of those words together anymore without paying up...
  19. I always get a little bit confused by this, but when looking at how much cap space they are projecting that we have available Spotrac says cap space with the top 51 is at $16mil+. But then the entire roster it is at -$1mil. So are we at about $16mil+ after the Eric Wood hit? Oh wait, I think I answered my own question.....
  20. I was just going to say.... Love the 1 handed grab, but gotta keep that 2nd foot in! I guess it's only May, he has some time to practice that part haha
  21. There really isn't a lot out there in offensive help. There might be more as camps roll along and cuts happen, but you never know. Sign Kendricks, get that defense as formidable as possible and they'll keep us in and win some games for us.
  22. Loved seeing some of those throws where Thurman turns and the ball is there. Haven't had a QB or receivers in a long time with that type of timing and anticipation. Also seeing the Oline absolutely DESTROY some teams is awesome.
