  1. Teams will trade for him. The only question is if Cleveland can get a 1st for him or have to settle for a day 2 pick instead.
  2. He’s not REALLY good but he’s better than what we have. He was top 3-5 in the league in drop percentage the year before despite being fed simple dump offs all year. He’s also seeking top 5 RB money. He almost certainly won’t get that because it’s laughable, but suffice to say he’s looking for more money than we were willing to give McKissic and I think McKissic would have helped us more.
  3. I think it’s common knowledge that this is legitimately the case isn’t it? I feel like he may have even said so. At any rate it’s been a known thing with him for a long time.
  4. That’s how I felt too but he was telling Von Miller he’s going to absolutely love it with us.
  5. I’d also say Green Bay probably isn’t super likely to take a guy they aren’t sure will be ready to play as a rookie. We’ll see what their WR group looks like at the end of free agency anyways. I have to imagine they’ll sign one or two.
  6. Okay so as a quasi-Bucs fan, OJ has admittedly looked like a shell of his former self the last couple years. But he used to flash like crazy earlier on and you just have to hope a new set of trainers can help him regain his athleticism a bit.
  7. Yeah this is much more reasonable. Likely a 3 year $52 mil deal in reality.
  8. We’re not giving him $120 mil regardless of void years. More likely it’s just realistically a 3 year $50 mil kinda contract and we can cut him after that.
  9. I’m swooning in my chair
  10. We have cap space after all!
  11. Basically all reports suggest it’s Rams and Dallas.
  12. Just like Shaq, if Phillips is signing near the minimum, sure.
  13. Clowney, Ingram, Justin Houston, Arden Key, and then you’re talking about guys like maybe William Gholston or Jason Pierre Paul (who looked washed last year)
  14. So we’re basically down to Clowney, Zadarius, Hughes, and Ingram as more high profile options in free agency or taking a shot on someone young like Arden Key if we’re going to bring in a pass rusher.
  15. He was never going to sign anywhere for less than $15 mil. Sounds like he got $17-18. Anyone that says the money doesn’t matter is lying. They might want to win but as long as the team projects to be at least competent, they’ll almost always take the money.
  16. I’ve lived in DC for 4 or 5 years now and I can count on one hand the number of days we’ve had snow stick on the ground. It’s not Georgia or anything but it’s certainly not Upstate NY.
  17. Talented players in general are always available on Day 3. It’s just hard to pick them out. With RBs of McKissic’s style and caliber, it’s not very easy to find, as evidenced by the lack of alternatives available in free agency. The only other guys that really fit the mold and are actually decent are Patterson and McKinnon. Generally even more difficult in the draft because most of the RBs coming out don’t really know how to pass protect and are primarily ball carriers. Not impossible, and not the end of the world if we don’t have a great one, but it was nice to think we might finally have a RB that can block and catch for the first time since probably Fred’s departure.
  18. The Zay contract is bizarre but the Kirk one is basically a 2 year $37 mil deal and that’s really not that bad for a guy as young as he is that seemed to be breaking out this past year. I really don’t understand the Zay deal though.
  19. Well I guess I know what to do with myself again. For the love of god get an actual 3rd down back.
  20. Of the four, I would say there’s a big drop off between Cleveland/New Orleans and Carolina/Atlanta.
