If Green Bay were interested in paying a WR that much, Adams would be a Packer right now. They clearly don't value the position that way and Hill will likely cost more both in terms of money and draft assets.

Once again just reiterating anything I get is second hand but from what I’ve heard, Buddy and Jimmy are moving on and Jim is trying to use that to convince Cole to come back and be more of a featured scorer

Hopefully we start hearing about our guys staying or going this week. From what I’ve heard, the guys that could potentially leave are (in order of likelihood): Jimmy/Buddy obviously Jon Bol Ajak very likely Cole Swider 50/50 Frank Ansalem 50/50 Benny Williams more likely to stay If Frank ends up leaving, we obviously need to find a backup C that can play. If Cole and or Benny leaves, we’ll be in desperate need of a forward. I think we need to find a guard that can play right away too so hopefully we’ll be active in the transfer portal but we’ll see.

My first semester was pretty brutal. Got a scholarship to Syracuse, which was my dream school growing up and thought it would be amazing. Ended up getting assigned an international roommate who had been on campus for like a month before I got there. By the time I arrived he had his circle of friends already and I basically didn’t see him and just really struggled to make friends by myself. Finally became friends with my neighbor at the end of that semester and he basically got my social life going. He was one of those guys that could hit it off with anybody and as an introvert, I needed someone like that to kinda pull me out of my comfort zone. By the end of my freshmen year I had a handful of friends and it all kinda blossomed from there. Ended up meeting my wife the next year when she bought me in a fundraiser auction and I still meet up with a group of like 12 guys from college each year to do a fantasy draft and hang out for a weekend.

He was released because they screwed their cap and were desperate. He’s missed 6 games in 4 years. Cinci had done a very good job addressing their biggest weakness this off-season.

There’s still a lot of WRs available. The market hasn’t moved much yet.

Teams will trade for him. The only question is if Cleveland can get a 1st for him or have to settle for a day 2 pick instead.

He’s not REALLY good but he’s better than what we have. He was top 3-5 in the league in drop percentage the year before despite being fed simple dump offs all year. He’s also seeking top 5 RB money. He almost certainly won’t get that because it’s laughable, but suffice to say he’s looking for more money than we were willing to give McKissic and I think McKissic would have helped us more.

I think it’s common knowledge that this is legitimately the case isn’t it? I feel like he may have even said so. At any rate it’s been a known thing with him for a long time.

That’s how I felt too but he was telling Von Miller he’s going to absolutely love it with us.

I’d also say Green Bay probably isn’t super likely to take a guy they aren’t sure will be ready to play as a rookie. We’ll see what their WR group looks like at the end of free agency anyways. I have to imagine they’ll sign one or two.

Okay so as a quasi-Bucs fan, OJ has admittedly looked like a shell of his former self the last couple years. But he used to flash like crazy earlier on and you just have to hope a new set of trainers can help him regain his athleticism a bit.

Yeah this is much more reasonable. Likely a 3 year $52 mil deal in reality.

We’re not giving him $120 mil regardless of void years. More likely it’s just realistically a 3 year $50 mil kinda contract and we can cut him after that.

Clowney, Ingram, Justin Houston, Arden Key, and then you’re talking about guys like maybe William Gholston or Jason Pierre Paul (who looked washed last year)
