  1. I think it makes it more likely honestly. I’m fairly confident both Lamar and Baltimore think they should be evolving beyond Roman’s stuff by now.
  2. Feels like a game that can go either way. Not really confident they’ll win but we’re obviously good enough to win without it being a surprise.
  3. I tend to doubt Dorsey is the guy they want even with his previous connections to their org but we’ll see. Would be a bummer to lose OC in back to back years but there’s some good offensive coaches out there and we will obviously be a very attractive destination for them.
  4. Should have been fired a while ago. He’s been an absolute disaster this season. Bowles should be gone too but sounds like he won’t be.
  5. Supposedly if he does return, he only wants to play on the east coast due to his kids.
  6. It was like 4 steps in a row out of bounds but Dallas would eventually score anyways.
  7. It goes by seed throughout the playoffs. Giants being the 7 seed play the highest remaining seed every round.
  8. Guessing he was pissed the RB blew an easy blitz pick up so it made it a far more difficult throw than it should have been. Brady is a significant part of the problem at this point in his career. Idk why he decided to unretire when he’s this scared of playing football.
  9. This offense will only get field goals if Dallas’ offense gives them the ball there
  10. 14 more points and then Tampa will start running their good plays. They can still make it a close loss instead of a total drubbing.
  11. This is my whole list as well. Those guys all played really well (less so with Singletary but as noted, what a run to end the game even if he probably came up a little short).
  12. I don’t even know if I’d say them honestly. Feels like every play SF has one or two guys with 10+ yards of separation. and the run game design is obviously awesome too.
  13. Funny thing is if they just kicked it regularly, Seattle probably kneels on the next play and heads to the locker room down 2. The squib gifted them great field position and just enough time to let San Fran be morons.
  14. That TD was a beauty but I’m still a bit skeptical we can really rely on him after so much time off the last couple years. Would be huge if that TD proves to be more than just an aberration though.
  15. I still wish we had brought in more outside help and played Davis as more of a big slot. He was used in the slot on like 25-30% of his snaps the last two years but it's where 50+% of his production came from if I remember correctly from when I had a PFF trial, not to mention how helpful his run blocking was in the slot. I don't really get why we decided to build the team around almost exclusively using him out wide this year. Feels like a miscalculation, not to mention we obviously really struggled to find a good slot option either.
  16. You’re right but more games does give the league more time to spread out and therefore have fewer meaningful games. But agree overall, there’s generally a lot of meaningless games the final week be it week 17 or 18.
  17. They’re about as mediocre as Cleveland. Cleveland has the better run game and SHOULD (though he’s kinda sucked so far) have the much better QB.
  18. I think Miami will end up winning, but there’s a decent argument to be made that Flacco is the best QB in that game lol. Seems like a decent chance New England still gets into the playoffs with all 3 teams losing today lol
  19. I don’t know if Cinci has the biggest gripe, but the coin toss thing just doesn’t make much sense. It doesn’t really make sense that they’d flip a coin for a wild card matchup between Cinci and Baltimore, but not for an AFC Title game between Cinci and Baltimore. It doesn’t make sense that they’d flip a coin for that matchup but not for a Buffalo/Cinci matchup. It doesn’t make sense that Baltimore could win the coin toss and essentially be the 3 seed for one week and then return to being the 6 seed and have to play the best remaining playoff team every step of the way. The coin toss is just total nonsense and it looks even dumber when you consider the other rule change the NFL is making for KC/Buffalo/Cinci.
  20. That would make a lot more sense though it still seems odd to me that Baltimore could be treated as the 3 seed for the first round and then the 6 seed the rest of the way.
  21. Yes. They need 9 votes to reject this proposal. If they vote purely out of selfishness, there’s a pretty easy case to be made for KC and Cinci voting against it. They’ll need to find 7 other teams that aren’t really impacted by this but don’t want it to happen anyways (maybe because they simply don’t believe in changing the rules midseason). So if I’m reading the Baltimore-Cinci part of this correctly, Cinci has clinched the division due to the cancelled game. But a coin flip will determine who hosts a playoff game if these two teams meet. So I’m the unlikely scenario where Cinci is the 3 seed and Baltimore is the 6 seed and both teams advance to the AFC Title game, Baltimore could theoretically host that game at home after winning on the road to get there. Weird stuff.
  22. If we're grading strictly based on their contributions/performance to this point, they're all pretty low grades IMO. There's certainly been a decent number of flashes from Cook, and a few flashes from Elam and Shakir to think they can be solid in the future but there's a chance this is just a straight up bad draft from Beane.
  23. Titans are a weird team. Robinson has made a lot of poor decisions with trades, the draft, free agency, etc. but the team has been consistently successful in spite of that and in spite of not really being the most talented team. Still, this feels very odd. Maybe just wanted a new guy to have more time to prepare for the draft? I don't know.
  24. Teams shouldn’t be scared of them but: 1. I remember the 7-9 Seahawks beating the Saints that one year 2. It’s still a very talented team with Playoff Brady at the helm. But no doubt they have to overcome some horrendous coaching to succeed in the playoffs.
