    It makes sense in terms of addressing needs, but as I mentioned before, it would be incredibly frustrating considering we’ve addressed this exact need several times now while forgoing many other needs.

    I’m not really banging the table to fire either coordinator and definitely not McDermott, but I wouldn’t complain if the coordinators were gone. Think there’s a lot worse coordinators out there though and that our issues are more talent related than coaching related.

    Spend more than a 1st round pick for the right to pay him $25 mil per year and his track record as a coach is making it to 1 Super Bowl in 15 years with his team going all in more often than not. I’d probably rather have McDermott even if we didn’t have to give up the farm for Payton, but considering the cost to get him, it’s a no brainer to pass.

    I don’t think there’s really any reason to think they would have made the difference and I don’t we’re in a position where we can afford to find out.

    A hell no to Payton and probably no to the idea of firing McDermott in general.

    Our RBs ran for over 1400 yards this year. How much do you think we’d realistically get with a better RB?

    We have no idea what version of Von we’re getting next season and Rousseau hasn’t shown much reason to believe he can be our best pass rusher either. Don’t get me wrong, I want us to prioritize WR and OLine, but DL is still very much a serious need IMO.

    I say it half jokingly, but seriously, how many needs do we have that you’d rank ahead of the DL? There’s a few for sure but DL remains a major need for us unfortunately. We just can’t get it right.

    On top of the actual players he selects, I fundamentally disagree with his draft philosophies too. I’m not totally out on him but I think he might be a bigger issue than our coordinators are.

    I don’t want to but it remains probably our #2 or #3 biggest need. It’s just sad.

    The two positions we’ve invested in the most the last few years is DL and RB and well…we may need to invest in DL some more.

    Yes I would definitely rather have Moss than Bijan considering the opportunity cost. The only 1st round picks that would definitely upset me more than Bijan would be a different RB, QB, kicker, punter, kick returner, or long snapper.

    If we lose Motor, we should consider using a 5th-7th round pick on a RB or sign someone for the minimum.

    It would be insanely frustrating if a team as good as ours is spent a 4th valuable draft pick on a RB. We’ve already poured way too many assets into the position.

    I kinda agree but also still feel like if our WRs just caught the accurate passes, we win that game easily despite the way Allen was attacking. But Allen definitely made the game harder than it needed to be as well.

    He threw for over 7,000 yards his final 2 years and almost literally threw 0 screen passes. His completion percentage was great considering the offense and personnel he had.

    I think it makes it more likely honestly. I’m fairly confident both Lamar and Baltimore think they should be evolving beyond Roman’s stuff by now.

    Feels like a game that can go either way. Not really confident they’ll win but we’re obviously good enough to win without it being a surprise.

    I tend to doubt Dorsey is the guy they want even with his previous connections to their org but we’ll see. Would be a bummer to lose OC in back to back years but there’s some good offensive coaches out there and we will obviously be a very attractive destination for them.

    Should have been fired a while ago. He’s been an absolute disaster this season. Bowles should be gone too but sounds like he won’t be.

    Supposedly if he does return, he only wants to play on the east coast due to his kids.

    It was like 4 steps in a row out of bounds but Dallas would eventually score anyways.

    It goes by seed throughout the playoffs. Giants being the 7 seed play the highest remaining seed every round.
