  1. Yeah I agree with all of that too. I think Darnold is going #1.
  2. It all depends on how much risk a team is comfortable with and whether or not they think Allen's main issue (his inconsistent accuracy) is fixable or not. If a team feels that Allen's passes are inconsistent due to poor footwork, they'll probably have him rated as their #1 or 2 QB in the draft because they'll just blame that on poor coaching and think that they can fix him, and with his physical tools, turn him into an elite QB. If a team feels that even with good footwork, Allen would still be inaccurate, they won't want him. In terms of the Bills connections to him, Benjamin Allbright (who I generally don't trust) reported that Buffalo was very interested in Nate Peterman the day before they drafted him, and he's saying that his same source has told him that Josh Allen is the guy this year (originally told him way back in like October, but has been consistent in that all year). On the flipside, Matt Miller has said that he's been hearing for like 6 months now that Sam Darnold is the #1 QB on the Bills' board and that no other team like Darnold as much as the Bills do. On top of that, there's been countless rumors at this point that the Bills supposedly love Rosen. And based on his interview with Beane, Joe Buscaglia came away thinking that Beane prioritizes arm strength over accuracy and off the top of my head, I think his belief is that Rosen and Allen are #1 and 2 on their draft board. One of these people is probably correct, but we probably won't know until the pick is made which person it was.
  3. The only one that's really interesting to me is Cameron Meredith. Maybe a little bit of interest in Brice Butler.
  4. In order from favorite to least favorite: McCarron Murphy Vontae -------------- Cut off of moves I like and moves I don't Star Ivory
  5. It really boils down to WHY teams believe he’s inaccurate. Is it because he’s not coordinated enough I figure out where the receiver will be when his pass arrives? Or is it the messy footwork making it difficult to throw it with consistency? The latter is fixable. The former is not.
  6. For what it’s worth, Joe Buscaglia got the impression when interviewing Beane that he views arm strength as more important than accuracy.
  7. I think they'll scoop him or the LB from Michigan up at some point for some added depth but I personally prefer O'Daniel
  8. O'Daniel seems like a pretty realistic target for the Bills IMO.
  9. This is precisely what has happened in Rosen's case based on the reports that are out there.
  10. I don't think very many people question Rosen's arm strength. Regarding throwing under pressure, his completion % was good, but his passer rating under pressure was poor.
  11. I imagine that the scouts that we sent to see Mayfield will be at Oklahoma State today to watch Rudolph, Washington, etc. Someone else will be there to watch Rosen.
  12. I imagine they still have faith in Zay after spending such a high draft pick on him, so they probably feel that they have two good WRs in place already. Certainly they won't head into the year with Rod Streater as the #3 WR, but there's still plenty of options out there both in free agency and the draft.
  13. I don't think Cleveland will really be interested in Fitzpatrick after acquiring Randall and having Peppers on the roster already. James is a different story, but they could probably trade down and get him later on. Assuming that Cleveland goes QB at #1, I'd guess they see if Chubb/Barkley are there at 4, and if they aren't, they trade down.
  14. Wouldn't usually bother to post this, but considering how long it's gone without hearing the contract details, this popped up on my timeline last night: This tweet would seem to imply that Star is getting a larger than expected contract rather than the other way around (or maybe Forbes is just lower on Star than the average person and underestimated his league-wide value).
  15. Basically this, except I'd slot a RB in after WR2/3 and I'd add another QB after C.
  16. Siemien seems like a reasonable target for what Buffalo seems to be looking for.
  17. To be fair, pretty much none of this year's class were under center QBs. Allen and Rosen played under center maybe 20% of the time and the rest were close to 0%.
  18. Don't get me wrong; I like him as a prospect, and if Buffalo had finished the year with a top 10 pick, I'd consider using it on him. But all of these trades to potentially move up and use it on such a risky prospect scares me a lot, so I'm with you in that regard. The big question is whether or not Buffalo believes he has the tools to be an accurate passer (mainly the coordination required to understand where he needs to put the ball in order for it to hit a moving target in stride) and simply needs to tweak his mechanics in order to get there, or if they think even with improved footwork, he's incapable. You can tell watching his film that his footwork definitely causes issues; I'm not smart enough to be able to tell if the coordination is there or not.
  19. Athleticism isn't based on how someone looks. He tested in the 82nd percentile of NFL QBs.
  20. Who cares as long as he's moving fast?
  21. Allen is more in the Carson Wentz mold of athlete, but he'll still be one of the more athletic QBs in the league. And I'm assuming you purposefully used 57% as the cutoff so that people couldn't point to Matt Stafford's 57.1%?
  22. I have Lamar as the #1 QB in this year's class, but he did have some hilariously bad throws at the Combine. It was very hit or miss for him.
  23. It wouldn't surprise me if that's indeed what their board looks like. I do believe the top 2 are correct; not sure about the order though.
