Just my opinion, but I preferred Mahomes over all of the QBs in this year's draft. I think that's definitely a minority opinion though.

There's plays where some of his O-Linemen literally don't block anybody; they just get out of their stance and look around while guys run right by them completely untouched. 41% of Allen's passes came while facing pressure. The potential 1st rounders: Allen: 41% Lamar: 36% Rosen: 29% Darnold: 31% Mayfield: 27% Rudolph: 23%

ASU RB Kallen Ballage to visit Bills
DCOrange replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As in CJ2K? He was among the best RBs in the country by the time he left ECU. I'm pretty sure he had like 25 TDs as a senior. He was a one-hit wonder in college though. I think Ballage tested out faster than DJ. I just don't think he's nearly as talented personally. Ballage is an interesting guy to take a flier on but he doesn't look to have much wiggle to his game at all and one of the main knocks on him is that he just doesn't see holes. Seems like a straight-line speed guy that can hit a home run if you open up a big hole for him but that's basically it. The receiving skills is definitely where most of my interest lays. He's a Day 3 guy IMO though. -
Either way he'll be a late 1st or early 2nd in all likelihood. I think it was Jeremiah, but someone the other day was saying they expect Saquon, Guice, and Sony Michel all to go in the first round.

***Speculation from Brownsboard.com***
DCOrange replied to Zerovoltz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There were a couple years where a relative of mine worked very closely with the Bills front office (not directly in the front office though) so he had given me a few tidbits along the way, with the main one being that EJ Manuel was the QB that Buffalo was targeting leading up to the 2013 draft. -
You'd like to think Buffalo will at least show interest considering the massive need involved, but we'll see. Certainly a questionable fit for "the process".

Two Weeks Out, What do you Currently want to happen?
DCOrange replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What I want: Roquan Smith at 12 and a trade up from 22 for Lamar What I expect: A trade up to the 7-10 range to take the 4th QB in the draft (my guess being Rosen) -
While I understand the need to get a QB, my god whoever the QB is would be beyond screwed with the O-Line Buffalo has in place and a WR corps of Zay Jones, Andre Holmes, and Rod Streater to throw to lol.

Browns like Allen, Jets like Mayfield, Top 2 QB's might fall
DCOrange replied to K D's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The QBs drafted by those three teams aren't even expected to play their rookie season besides MAYBE the Jets. I don't think the QBs they target have anything to do with coaches being on hot seats. Theoretically they could be trying to drive up interest in the #4 pick by making it seem like Allen is a can't-miss prospect. I ultimately think they'll keep both of their picks though. -
My two favorite memories: 1. This past season's playoff game in Jacksonville. My mom is the biggest Bills fan in the family. One of her biggest dreams was to take her boys to a playoff game before we all moved away. I moved to DC almost 2 years ago. The Jaguars game was literally on her birthday, so we all surprised her and got tickets to fly down and go to the game and I met them all down in Jacksonville. Obviously it sucked that they lost, but it was such a great experience and I know it meant the world to her to be there. 2. I don't even really remember the game, but one year for my birthday, we had a group of like 15 friends get tickets to drive from Rochester and there happened to be a blizzard that day. The drive probably took about 5 hours due to the weather and you could barely see anything on the field but just getting there was one of those things I'll never forget.

Minter signed with the Jets I believe

There's so little film out there of him, but he looked awesome in the Division 2 title game. I was especially impressed by how he's always aware of where his check down is in case the pass rush gets to him, but all around, his ball placement in the title game was really good basically to every part of the field. Obviously we're all hoping that Buffalo can get one of the top tier prospects, but I like Perez as a Day 3 flier/UDFA guy to target.

I think the perfect world (and still reasonable) draft is getting Roquan at 12 and then trading 22 + 53 or 56 for #14 or 15 pick to take Lamar. Use the remaining 2nd round pick on maybe a WR or TE, 3rd round pick on Nathan Shepard. I'd be very happy with that.

PURE SPECULATION: Is Beane Forcing Jackson Onto McDermott?
DCOrange replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
To me, Lamar is the best QB in this draft, but come on man lol. This is a ridiculous theory. -
This was a tough call between Leonard and Chubb. I went with Leonard though.

Think plan A ..for the bills
DCOrange replied to TucsonBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with this but I also think staying at 12 or a small trade up is still the better idea. -
Will the Bills be a good fit for any QB this year?
DCOrange replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would gladly take the Browns situation over the Bills current situation honestly. -
Will the Bills be a good fit for any QB this year?

I think this is a pretty well-thought out post, and the Barnwell quote is great. Ask not what your rookie QB can do for you, ask what you can do for your rookie QB. I have serious concerns about what this team can do for whoever they draft; it's a pretty dire situation to come into IMO. -
With Ritchie Retiring, is the Season Over?
DCOrange replied to Buffalo Bills Detective's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know this is a joke thread, but I continue to think it's going to be a pretty bad year for the Bills and this only adds to it. You could reasonably argue that the Bills need 4 new starting offensive linemen lol. It's insane how many holes this team has considering they were a playoff team a year ago. -
Richie Incognito Retires Via Twitter - Now Confirmed
DCOrange replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Okay, so Buffalo has roughly 53 needs to fill with 8 draft picks now.
