Presumably it was: 1. Only coming from one source 2. Coming from multiple sources, but none that were super trustworthy

Personally, I don't think that stuff will play a role in McBeane's decision, and if it does, I imagine it would be a tiny, tiny role. I do think what he's said re: Trump goes beyond the simple label of "liberal" though, and I do think that in the Jets case, it plays a significant role given Woody Johnson's relationship with Trump. I do not envision the Jets taking Rosen at all as a result. I do, however, think that the stories of teammates/coaches not liking Rosen is something that will play a role in team's evaluations of him. Some teams will care about that more than others; I'm not sure where I think Buffalo lays in there but I'd lean towards the leadership qualities being a relatively big deal for them and I believe that could knock Rosen down a peg or two in their rankings as a result (if Buffalo finds that the stories about him are true of course, which we simpletons just aren't privy to). I think they value the skills > leadership, but if they believe that Darnold, Allen, and Mayfield are close to Rosen skill-wise, I could definitely see it being a tiebreaker that goes against him.

Oh come on lol. I mean, even Dak Prescott has enough power in Dallas to have a say in Dez getting cut and Rodgers is at worst the 2nd best QB in the NFL.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but neither of them made any mention of specific teams, right? Obviously Buffalo appears to be one of the most likely teams to move up, but nobody significant has really said that it's related to Buffalo AFAIK

Here's some of ESPN's stuff: http://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2018/insider/story/_/id/19350616/way-too-early-2018-nfl-draft-big-board-best-prospects-rankings-mel-kiper - On his big board, Mel Kiper had Darnold #1, Allen #3, and Rosen #7. Nobody else made the top 25. http://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2017/insider/story/_/id/19294111/todd-mcshay-way-too-early-2018-mock-draft-nfl-draft - McShay published a "way too early mock draft" in which Darnold, Allen, and Rosen went 1-2-3. http://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2018/insider/story/_/id/19351953/mel-kiper-way-too-early-2018-nfl-draft-rankings-top-prospects-every-position - Mel Kiper's "way too early rankings" were split between Seniors and Underclassmen Seniors (in order): Rudolph, Luke Falk, Baker Mayfield, Matt Linehan, Mike White Underclassmen: Darnold, Allen, Rosen, Lamar, Clayton Thorson (will be in the 2019 draft) Generally speaking, it was believed that Darnold, Allen, and Rosen were all elite prospects. Nobody else was really expected to go in the 1st round, but Rudolph/Falk/Lamar were considered the next tier. Mayfield was seen as probably a Day 3 prospect.

I can think of one team whose past regimes didn't... I understand the schemes they use are limited, but the players are clearly far better than what he faced at Richmond. At any rate, you can tell from watching him both at Richmond and at the Senior Bowl that his accuracy will translate. The question is if his decision-making and arm strength will be sufficient in the NFL.

Gotcha. Unfortunately a lot of people have had similar reactions in the past if there isn't a tweet about it haha

He didn't tweet it, as you can tell from the context in the OP. Rapoport was quoted in an article on NFL.com http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000926782/article/ravens-showing-most-interest-in-dez-bryant

Mel Kiper: What is the highest Lamar Jackson and Mason Rudolphcould be drafted? (via @maddawgfours44) Jackson is going in the first round. I have no doubt there. As far as the highest spot for him, I think it's No. 12 to the Buffalo Bills. There is also some recent buzz about Rudolph sneaking into the first round. There are a few teams that like him more than Jackson. So for the highest spot he could go, I'll say No. 28. That puts him one spot before the Jacksonville Jaguars, as a team could trade up before the Jags pick and grab him. Rudolph is more of a second-round prospect for me, though.

Buffalo almost certainly has enough cap space to sign him considering how late in the free agency process it is. I highly doubt he chooses Buffalo though.

I think Bob has more sources honestly. He’s a wayyy more annoying personality though.

Why no Josh Allen for a visit?
DCOrange replied to D. L. Hot-Flamethrower's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sure but you could argue that’s just the Bills trying to trick teams into thinking that it’s a smokescreen. Isn’t the fact that the Bills have basically admitted that Allen is a smokescreen a bit suspicious? do you think word accidentally got out about their interest in every other QB? -

It’s literally leaked out that Buffalo’s favorite QB in the class is every single QB at this point. -

In person, probably 3 times if you include the Senior Bowl. They’ve seen the others probably like 5 or 6 times. I’m sure they’ve poured over the film of all of them. If they never saw him at all, I’d say you can cross him off the list, but they could easily have seen enough in a couple games to think he is or isn’t the guy they want. You also have to consider that in the case of many of these other QBs, Buffalo isn’t only scouting the QB. For example, USC has Ronald Jones and Burnett, UCLA has Lasley, Oklahoma has a good OLine and pass rusher, OK State has the WRs. -
On the contrary, it sounds to me like Buffalo can trade up at a relatively cheap cost and still have their choice of 3 worthy choices.

Luke Easterling's Final 2018 Draft Board
DCOrange replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Luke doesn't appear to agree with the idea that this is a weak draft for WRs lol. -
(rumor). Bills-Browns-Giants-Crazy "Dunkirk" type tweet.

This is the part I don't get in this particular scenario. With the info this guy gave out, if this were actually true, there's no way Brandon isn't easily able to put the puzzle pieces together. Again, if we're assuming this is true (which I highly, highly doubt), Brandon probably told what, maybe 5 people at the most about it? How many of those 5 do you think works as a District Manager and also as a referee? I'm guessing the answer is 1. -
I think Beane wants Josh Allen but I think ultimately ends up with Rosen instead.

I'm sure there's plenty of examples of each of this year's QBs lacking eye discipline; this example isn't really very good though. The whole point of the play was to look at the TE and pump fake as he makes his cut out; the QB is trying to sell the defense on the idea that he's making the first throw to the TE and it works. Allen just put too much air under this pass and allowed the safety to get over and make a play on it.
