I was never even interested in any of these comic books, super hero movies, etc. until the Daredevil series on Netflix got me to give Marvel a chance, and in the past few years since that show debuted, I've entirely caught up on the Marvel movie series. They weren't all good IMO, but they were good enough. And while it will be sad to see the original guys likely die, I'm very excited for more Black Panther, Spiderman, and hopefully Ant-Man.

Trailer doesn't exactly reveal much, but given the hype behind this, it didn't need to. In fact, I'm happy it didn't reveal much.

Careful With Those DNA Tests!
DCOrange replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Off the Wall Archives
This is bringing back my interest in doing a test like this. My family started using one of those ancestry websites to create a family tree a few years back, and among other things, we discovered: Our relatives were pretty much all from England or Wales, so nothing exciting there If we went REALLY far back (like multiple centuries), it looked like we had some Russian and Jewish in us. We discovered that my grandfather is a year older than he thought, that he had a sibling he didn't know about, and that his mother took the kids (including him) and ran, changed their identities, and started a new family. So my family name isn't actually my family name at all. -
Just off the top of my head I would think the Redskins potential opening is easily the worst. I don't think the Jags opening is bad at all to be honest, and even so, I doubt Daboll will have his pick of the litter. If he's offered any head coaching job this offseason, it could easily end up being the only one he gets for many years. The Jags will have basically all the pieces of what should have been an elite defense intact next season (minus Dareus and probably one other underperforming player like Barry Church). Offensively, they'll have to figure out the QB position and probably iron out the O-Line but they don't have many holes to fill to be right back in the playoff picture again next year IMO

Being an offensive coordinator probably is not his dream job. And things change. Being the head coach at Syracuse was Doug Marrone's dream job. Then he unceremoniously left to become the head coach of his local-ish NFL team: his new dream job. Then he left Buffalo and ended up in Jacksonville. If Daboll is offered a head coaching job, I would not at all be surprised if he took it, especially coming off a season in which the offense was pretty putrid.
-
Not only that, but we could end up with like 8 head coach vacancies this offseason so teams will likely have to go pretty far down the list to find their new coach. Wouldn't shock me if Daboll gets interviews. Ties to Belichick and Saban and the general consensus has been that he's done a good job this year. Allbright isn't the first person to mention Daboll as a possibility for teams this offseason.

I think they'll ultimately decide to keep Shady and hope improving the line makes him look more like the guy he was 2-3 years ago, but I just don't think he's anything special anymore to be honest. I think signing one of the guys I mentioned and then drafting someone like maybe Darrel Henderson, Damien Harris, or Karan Higdon is an upgrade while also saving a significant amount of money (unless Tevin Coleman is the one they sign) I would guess that you're probably right
-
To be clear, I'd like to draft a RB as well. My guess is that they'll end up keeping Shady and draft a RB to give us some fresh legs. I'd personally prefer to cut Shady, sign one of the guys listed above, and then draft another, but we'll see.

He's been particularly disappointing these last two games and his PFF grade is lower than usual this year, but he's on pace to pretty much duplicate exactly his production of the past two years again this year. Basically the same number of touches, yards, and TDs three years in a row.
-
I'll defer to others on the O-Line guys as that's just not my specialty at all, but as far as targets at other positions go: RB: Malcolm Brown - He's played a minor role behind Todd Gurley, but he's been awesome when he's on the field. There are 60 RBs in the league that have played at least 25% of their team's snaps this year. Brown is not one of them, but if you add him to the list, he's 8th best in the league in terms of Avoided Tackles Per Attempt. He would not be Buffalo's home run hitter, but he can be the north-south powerful runner that seems to mesh with what Daboll likes. Alex Collins - He'd fill the same role as Brown. He broke out last year with the Ravens when he ranked as one of the top 5-10 RBs in the league per PFF, but had a disappointing and injury-plagued 2018 season which could drive his price down dramatically. Tevin Coleman - Coleman would be the guy if we look to add a home run hitter at RB in free agency. I'm guessing he gets somewhere around 4 years, $30 million when it's all said and done. I wouldn't bother spending that kind of money unless Buffalo decides to move on from McCoy (which I personally think would be wise but I'm not sure how McBeane feel about that). WR: Quincy Enunwa - I concur with the OP; Enunwa would be my #1 target as far as the FA WRs go. He's a good, tough WR. Ranks 4th in the NFL in YAC per reception and he works the field shorter than anyone on the Bills roster does (though I do think Zay could potentially be the underneath guy as that's mainly how he was used in college). Tyrell Williams/Adam Humphries - These two couldn't be more different as football players, but I'm lumping them together because I think they're two guys that are worth pursuing, but I think will ultimately get more money than I'd be comfortable with. Tyrell has played with Rivers for four years now on a team that's never really had great receiving talent (with the exception of Keenan Allen, who has struggled to stay healthy), but Tyrell has never really been able to grasp a major role in any way. Just seems like something is missing with him. Humphries isn't really special, but he's quick in and out of cuts and knows how to find holes in zones and how to work his way to the ball at angles that create YAC opportunities (i.e. how to position himself when catching a screen pass so that he's already setting his blocks up as he's catching the ball). I think he'd be a tremendous fit here, but he's been blowing up these past 5 games and might end up getting someone to pay him a lot more money than he's worth. If he can be had for roughly $5 million per year, I'd take him. Chris Conley/Breshad Perriman/JJ Nelson - I lump these three together as guys that I'd be willing to give small contracts to just to see if you can strike gold on one of them putting things together. All three are athletic as hell but have yet to carve out a significant role in the NFL (or in Perriman's case, any role whatsoever). Edit: I think it's worth noting that Tampa Bay has FOUR WRs in the top 33 on PFF's rankings, and I think two of them will be free agents this offseason (Humphries and I think they end up cutting DeSean Jackson). TE: Maxx Williams - 2nd round pick a few years ago when he was compared to Jeremy Shockey, currently rated the #19 TE on PFF (#20 pass catcher, #24 run blocker, #19 pass blocker). I don't expect Baltimore to bring him back as they drafted two TEs pretty early this year and his snaps per game have significantly declined the past three weeks. CB: EJ Gaines - You guys probably know who he is.
-
It could end up not happening, but the expectation in Tampa is that they'll sign Kwon to an extension. They want to lock him and LT Donovan Smith up long-term.

Redskins Sign Ex-Bill QB Josh Johnson to Back-Up the Sanchize
DCOrange replied to Rico's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He was. Plan is to finish the NFL season and then go to San Diego for AAF. Pretty hilarious that Gruden said they wouldn’t sign Kaepernick because they needed someone with a similar skill set to Sanchez and then they basically signed a much worse version of Kaepernick. -
Regarding McCoy, he’s ranked 47th out of 62 qualifying RBs, so pretty damn bad considering he’s like the 2nd highest paid RB in the league.
-
Edit: Complete group of WRs that accepted their invites: Still more WRs to reveal, but all four of the WRs that are currently listed as having accepted Senior Bowl Invites are interesting to me (guys I'm particularly interested in in bold): Tyre Brady - Marshall Anthony Johnson - Buffalo Andy Isabella - UMass Alex Wesley - Northern Colorado Deebo Samuel - South Carolina Emanuel Hall - Missouri Travis Fulgham - Old Dominion Jalen Hurd - Baylor David Sills - West Virginia Hunter Renfrow - Clemson Jaylen Smith - Louisville

Tanner Gentry is the exact WR Bills should sign
DCOrange replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yep. I would love to see them pick up one of these guys. Fountain would be my first choice. It seems to me that they do not intend to add a new WR though. -
WR Technique Q - Overthrow to Foster
DCOrange replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As others have mentioned, when the ball is traveling that much distance, it's rarely going to be perfect. A little less from Allen and Foster gets his hands on it. I also think Foster could have taken a slightly better angle to potentially get to that ball as well; had he adjusted and moved a little more towards his outside shoulder, he essentially would have given himself slightly more time to make up the distance on the throw (which ended up coming down on his outside should anyways). -
I apparently cannot read.

Bills have released Kelvin Benjamin and Andre Holmes
DCOrange replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My understanding is that they only have one more roster spot available right now and probably need a center. So I'd imagine that (unless they cut other guys as well, which is possible), it's: Zay Jones Robert Foster Isaiah McKenzie Deonte Thompson Ray Ray McCloud -

Used their roster spots to add another pass rusher and corner; Mike Love and Denzel Rice from the practice squad.
