  1. I honestly think fantasy talk is more interesting than a lot of regular sports talk. At least the fantasy stuff gets you some interesting stats that you wouldn't hear otherwise. I'd rather listen to that than listening to the Skip Baylesses and Stephen A Smith's of the world.
  2. I expect to land somewhere in the 6-9 win range. I voted 8-9.
  3. I'd be pretty shocked if any of these guys make All-Pro this year. If I had to pick somebody, I guess I'd go with White, but I don't actually believe that.
  4. I don't think he's been that caliber of pass-rusher to this point in his NFL career. He's been a pretty good pass-rusher and a great run-defender. Still a very good player overall though, though there's always the question of how he'd look if he didn't have Watt across from him.
  5. What adjustment do you think they would have made? I doubt they like any of the options out there more than Brissett anyway and they might be perfectly fine with Chad Kelly being their backup. And by all accounts, the Colts were aware that he was considering retirement so if they thought they weren't prepared, they should have made a move already.
  6. I think it's likely PFF not basing it exclusively on their rookie seasons but including their draft scouting reports as well. PFF didn't think Allen was a good prospect coming out of college and then he mostly struggled as a rookie. I don't think PFF loved Rosen or Lamar coming out of college, but they definitely liked them a lot more than Allen so I think the logic is basically "good prospect, bad year" > "bad prospect, bad year". Hence why Kyler is above Allen despite never playing an NFL snap before; they think he's a great prospect.
  7. I'd be trading Zeke for sure. He's already overpaid as is and is under contract for two more years. His holdout is ridiculous. I'd gladly move him for a Day 2 pick and would at least consider an early Day 3 pick if that's all I can get. Then again, I wouldn't have drafted him in the first place, but here we are. I don't think I'd be comfortable paying Dak either; I'd tend to lean towards taking a chance on a draft pick rather than paying an average starting QB top 5 QB money. Amari, I'd be fine with signing long-term even if his last couple years in Oakland give me a little pause. He was clearly a huge difference maker last season for Dallas.
  8. I think Murray is a really good prospect and very well might end up being the better QB between the two. Having said that, I'm not going to waste my time reading that article because it just sounds stupid.
  9. I imagine that's the case, but I don't think that's all that different from what I do now/used to do with my previous job haha. The real tough part for me to reconcile is that it would probably be less money for far more hours and less control over my personal life. I do think it would be more interesting though and maybe that would outweigh everything else. Anyways, don't want to derail the Netflix thread over this haha.
  10. Yessir! Just started Season 2 last night. Psychology, and criminal psychology in particular is something that's always been fascinating to me. A part of me wishes I had tried to get into that line of work. Probably more interesting than what I do now but my field definitely has its perks.
  11. I think Dallas will be totally fine with Tony Pollard if it comes to that, and I don't really think it'll come to that.
  12. This is precisely where I'm at. And I think Ray-Ray is more likely to make it than Duke for that final spot (if they decide not to keep McKenzie) simply because we need someone that can at least try to fill Beasley's role whenever he's tired/banged up. To me, Duke's only chances of making the roster are if we keep 7 WRs or if one of Zay/Foster is surprisingly cut.
  13. Realistically, a Day 3 pick for Zay, maybe a late Day 3 pick for Shady if you're lucky. If the staff thinks McCoy will not handle it well if Singletary gets a lot of reps, I'd happily cut him at this point. Zay...the staff is higher on him than I am. I'd keep him and just have him be a rotation guy, but it seems like the staff wants to start him, so I'd rather cut him to save the staff from themselves.
  14. I mean, they were basically a .500 team during his tenure there despite only having his starting QB for literally half their games. The fact that they decided to blow everything up after firing him isn't really on him.
  15. Obviously we're working with tiny sample sizes for the most part, but I think Darnold and Lamar both looked pretty good last night. Haskins still struggling a bit, though he had a nice TD pass, and Kyler definitely looked a little off in his limited play after looking great the week prior.
  16. He's had plenty that have proven to be right. Still someone you should take with a grain of salt though. I believe he has actual sources, especially when it comes to NYC based rumors. But I also believe he's less picky about tweeting out rumors than the national media is, so it'll lead to more cases where the rumors either aren't true or didn't end up happening. I would tend to think he's legitimately hearing something is afoot with the Bills; might just be the Nsekhe thing, might be the recent McCoy stuff, might be Clowney. And it all might amount to nothing. We'll see.
  17. What does that clip in the original tweet mean? I'm not familiar with the movie and couldn't really follow what it would mean in this case. For whatever it's worth (which might be nothing), Bob replies to a bunch of tweets to basically BS with people but he'll sometimes tweet a response so that it actually shows up on his tweets profile (rather than the tweets & replies page) and in this case, the only one he did that with was a guy saying that it's McCoy getting cut. He did also retweet one of the Clowney quotes from O'Brien shortly after the Bills tweet though and that's usually another one of his hints. But then when someone replied about it being Clowney to the Bills, he responded and said he hasn't mentioned any names yet and that's his prerogative if he wants to assume it's Clowney or assume that it's even good news.
  18. Yeah, I've seen both of those. Gridiron Champions seems like a scam at this point or at least they've made little to no progress towards actually making a game. I think NCAA 14 looked better than Maximum Football 2018 did; we'll see with 2019 but I don't have much faith. Either way it wouldn't be a licensed college game but if it's good enough, I wouldn't care that much.
  19. I think OP is being a little oversensitive in this particular case. Plenty of people have defended Allen's throw on the play in question. Compared to Baker's throw, there's two major differences IMO: 1. Baker's WR got hit from behind rather than getting led into the hit like Allen's throw did. 2. I think Allen's pass was more accurate. He hit Zay nearly perfectly on that pass. If Baker had properly led his man, he wouldn't have been hit at all; it would have been a nice easy catch. Instead, he caused the WR to slow down and allow the trailing defender to hit him at the end.
  20. Same. I had left it at my parent's house for a few years and then got the itch and brought it back to my apartment. Haven't played it in a little while now, but the college games were my obsession growing up. I'd do terrible things for a College Hoops 2K20.
  21. Oliver looked okay against Nelson, which is a huge compliment. He was always my realistic hope at #9; definitely excited to see him in the regular season because most teams don't have a Nelson. Having said that, definitely some signs of a lack of counter moves in this game; Nelson completely stonewalled him multiple times and Oliver pretty much just accepted it or just tried to continue pushing rather than countering at all.
  22. I don't think this is a defenseless receiver penalty personally. Zay is basically on the ground; it's not as if the defender could have aimed any lower for his hit and he certainly didn't lead with his helmet at all. Just unfortunate that Zay fell in such a way that his head lined up with the guys arm.
  23. Yeah, that's kind of the problem lol
