  1. Big fan of Gabe. Not his fault Beane put him in a position he had no business being in. Gabe Davis playing 90% of snaps is insanity. So long and wish you all the best.
  2. Anyone know the sabres record after a win this season? I swear it has to be like 2-22. Have they won more than 2 in a row all season? What a pathetic bunch.
  3. I didn't believe you when I saw this but looked it up and wow yea still just 23yo.
  4. A little worrisome that doing all that only gets us to +20M. I was against cutting Morse but based on this I guess we have too. Confident in Bates stepping in?
  5. Honestly once Allen retires and the bills suck again I think they could have a very hard time selling out the stadium. Buffalo is too small of a market to support a bad team with high prices. Yes they sold out games during the drought years. But tickets were dirt cheap and people treated it like a party. Tickets will be much more expensive now. Plus the at home viewing experience is much better, and I think people are less willing to sit in garbage weather nowadays.
  6. Love Tre but it's probably the easiest decision of the offseason
  7. It was a weird season for Josh. Many games where him and the offense were terrible for 90% of the game. But when we needed a score to take the lead at the end he always came through (giants, Broncos, patriots, chargers etc). Hopefully with Brady as OC and better weapons they will find more consistency next season.
  8. Lamar will make the HOF. First ballot. ESPN will make sure of it.
  9. That's a hell of a home schedule. 6 easy games and then two PRIME matchups with the two SB teams, which should be a treat for fans. Looks like 7-1 to me.
  10. I don't see it. We literally have one example in NFL history of a guy playing at that level into their 40s. Several examples of guys breaking down before than (Peyton, Ben, Rivers etc)
  11. Let me guess no comments from them on playoff Lamar being #3?
  12. Of taking d lineman! No issue with the thread, that was my opinion on the subject
  13. Would I take a great offensive coach who does a lot of dumb **** over a good defensive coach who does a lot of dumb ****? Yes but would prefer neither. Who knows, maybe if Shanahan has Allen he doesn't throw away 50 seconds +1 TO at the end of the first half, or isn't afraid to "answer" Mahomes in OT.
  14. This is not the worst idea I've ever heard
  15. Because it gives you the best chance to win the game.
  16. Will be interesting to see what happens with Dak and Tua. I don't think Purdy is going to accept less than those guys considering he put of similar number plus played in a Superbowl.
  17. Almost every game we play vs the chiefs is 50/50 The Patriots owned us for 20 years.....
  18. Sure if those scenarios play out then getting the ball first is better. Those scenarios aren't going to happen too often. If decision A gives you an advantage 80% of the time, and decision B gives you an advantage 20% of the time, seems like there is a pretty clear choice, no?
  19. No I didn't realize that. And I definitely did not point out in my OP that the players made several executional errors. Definitely not. I think Shanahan made several key mistakes last night, some painfully obvious and bad. Doesn't need to be this or that. Both players and coaching had a hand in the loss. Shanahan has now lost three SBs where he had double digits leads. And is developing a history of making questionable decisions on big games. Something to talk about, it's the offseason.
  20. The Chiefs would have gone for 2 if both teams scored a TD. Players confirmed that after the game.
  21. One thing I should have also mentioned, to be fair, is that all 3 of those SB losses came against what will likely end up being the two greatest dynasties and HC/QB combos in NFL history. I do think he is a great coach. But he makes a lot of mistakes that he should not be making. He is still young. I think he will get over the hump one day.
  22. The guy gets praised as an offensive genius and rightfully so, but he sure does choke in big games. 3 superbowls with double digit leads. 3 losses. (2 as HC) Several examples of players not executing last night, including fumbles and missed passes, so not all coaching. But it starts at the top and Bills fans should know, it's hard to overcome a HC that puts the team in bad spots. Questionable calls on multiple key third downs, not prepared at all for KC blitz Stretch where it seemed like he got away from the run too much Could have got the ball back before halftime with 50 seconds and 1TO, but elected to let the clock run out Chose to receive in OT, which is inexcusable IMO. And then made it even worse by kicking the FG instead of going for a TD Players didn't even know the overtime rules until they saw it on the jumbotron before OT
  23. Ed Oliver is not "elite". He's had one season where he played at an elite level and in that season he was a complete no show in the playoffs.
  24. Even if you achieve best case scenario on your opening drive and score a TD, you then put your defense at a big disadvantage because the best QB in the NFL has 4 downs the entire drive to score a TD and then go for 2. You never take the ball first. IMO
