Thanks. I'm going off of 7 years of history. -
DeShawn Williams (DT) Expected To Sign With Bills

Not sure what McBeane has against drafting DTs in later rounds. Bring in some young bodies with potential. He loves filling in the depth at DT with vets that end up being useless. -
Definitely not thanksgiving and definitely not Christmas so I guess week 1 by default.

Tre White to the Rams - 1 year deal, $8M up to $10M
Process replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Good for him, seriously. I figured a team likely wouldn't sign him until summer and that it would be for less money. That's a nice deal for him. -
Anyone know the average starting field position in the XFL?

Pressure from who? I doubt there is much pressure being put on him from the Pegulas. He is probably as secure in his job as any hc in the NFL.

Brandon Beane Addresses Media - NFL Annual Meeting

Did he confirm we are taking a WR in round 1? -
Scoring ^^^^^^

And in this case more offense, which I'm sure the NFL desperately wants after a year where scoring was way down.

NFL refs are terrible. Bad calls directly effect the outcome of way too many games. But it's also a near impossible job. There are way too many rules, and way to many judgment calls refs are supposed to be looking to make. 22 players on the field, running around and banging into each other at insane speeds. And a million things refs are in charge of looking for. They need to add sky judges that can make and correct calls in real time.

You are forgetting Leonard Floyd. That's 10.5 sacks gone.

I think you can make the case that our 22 starters are already on the roster. There's also no doubt we can still upgrade at several spots. Who are you comfortable with starting and where do you want to see us upgrade? WR- 99% of us want the Bills to take a WR in Rd 1 to be the WR2 and eventual WR1. Do the Bills see it that way or are they good with Shakir/Samuels/Holllins? LG- Good with Edwards starting? I think so. Rest of unit is solid. DE- As of two months ago Von could barely move. The hope is he can contribute next year but I doubt he ever gets back to a starting role. AJE is better suited as a depth piece. If they don't go WR in Rd 1 DE is the only other position that makes sense. We could definitely use an upgrade here. SS- Whether you like it or not I think it's safe to assume Rapp will be starting. FS- Id prefer Edwards be in a backup role, but also don't love a backup S making $2.8M+. Probably roll with him as the starter for this year and draft a guy in the middle rounds to compete and hopefully take over in 2025. Would have preferred they found a way to free up some extra dough for Blackmon. We are in pretty good shape heading into the draft.
-
Would have liked to sign Blackmon so that both S starting spots would be filled prior to the draft (Rapp is starting whether or not you like it). As of now we still need a starting FS.

Booooooo
-
LA is a much better spot for him anyway
-
That red wings win is just brutal. Score with 10 seconds left to tie it and then win in OT.
-
Not a luxury at all. Other than Wilson they have nothing at WR/TE.

Signing a S is becoming a must (Blackmon hopefully). Fill that need before the draft. Still have needs at WR DE DT. Draft WR DL DL DL first four picks. RB OL and DB depth at the end of the draft. -
49ers officially lose draft picks over accounting errors

League hands them 20 comp picks every year, then takes away one 2025 5th round pick. How will they recover.
