Push these out a week. Having guys visit in spring with 4 inches of snow on the ground isn't a great first impression. The weather here stinks right now. Yuk. Finny because we actually had a great winter.
Signing a S is becoming a must (Blackmon hopefully). Fill that need before the draft. Still have needs at WR DE DT.
Draft WR DL DL DL first four picks.
RB OL and DB depth at the end of the draft.
I'd like this signing a lot, but that should be it for vet DTs. I hated beane's strategy of going five deep with vets at DT last year. Just burning money. Sign one guy and then draft one or two on day 3.
That Chicago offense is loaded. Way better than a team with the first pick usually would be. Pretty nice situation for Caleb.
Also I think it's safe to say Nabers is going 5.
To be honest he's probably not the best fit for our needs but at the end of the day it's another weapon for Josh so I like the signing. He'll separate much better than Gabe and costs a lot less. Just add a vertical threat in the draft and we're looking good.
What are the Cardinals doing? Moore is 23yo with 40+ catches the last three years. Ridder is a bad backup QB. I would have happily given them a 5th round pick if they were just trying to dump the guy.
Don't love the idea of adding a guy 30yo who missed significant time last two seasons. But at the same time there are really no offensive players that excite me left in FA. If they are going to spend money I guess this makes sense.
