  1. This screams Bills. We were already on Thanksgiving twice recently and two other big draws KC and Baltimore were on Christmas last year. Don't love it to be honest.
  2. That puts him outside the top 10 highest paid CBs. What an absolute steal. Credit to Beane. And credit to CB, going from a 6th round pick to $76M three years later. Great deal all around
  3. Game in Buffalo should be fun. They'll probably schedule it towards the end of the year to make sure he's back.
  4. Thanks Gunner. I'd be very happy with Grant. In general i'd say I'm not a huge fan of DTs in round 1. But in this case it would fill a huge need and seems like it would also be a good value pick. A dominant presence next to Oliver could help unlock everyone else in the front 7.
  5. Feels like we're due for a Christmas game. Also, everyone is picking the obvious matchups. There will be a random one in prime time. My pick is Bills at Falcons MNF. Could also be Bills v TB.
  6. Makes sense I selfishly hope he retires after this season. Don't want to watch him play for another team. One of my favorite Bills of this era.
  7. Did you not watch the playoffs the year they made the Superbowl? The Defense carried them there.
  8. Lol the team that went to the Superbowl was the exact opposite of the current team. QB and WRs on rookie deals and a very good defense.
  9. I may be in the minority (and I am not even convinced I truly believe this) but this is bad team building, IMO. An elite QB shouldn't need a $70M/year WR duo. Should have extended Chase, traded Tee, and spent the money and draft pocks on defense/ o line.
  10. I'm trying not to overreact because at the end of the day I really don't care about the regular season. Our division is a joke But the optics are just terrible. Amateur hour at OBD.
  11. And now Hoecht is at the mic. How bizarre.
  12. Beane making it sound like Mack didn't want to come back in his press conference
  13. If they didn't know about Ogunjobi, why wouldn't they just not sign him? I get that they came to an agreement, but this is a pretty valid reason to break it
  14. Wtf? It thought this was a joke when I saw it.
  15. 8 picks in the first 5 rounds, and we definitely don't have 8 open roster spots. I agree, I think it's much more likely we trade up this year.
  16. Perfect #3 CB. Love it. CB in rounds 1 or 2 is still a given IMO.
  17. Which makes sense. They are likely close to done with FA. Need a veteran CB but otherwise we have the draft picks to fill the remaining holes.
  18. This is interesting. Looks like we didn't really free up any cap space this year with the new deal.
  19. Who knows. I recall a player, cant recall who, mentioning once "no one knows what he's going through" in reference to Elam. Maybe he's been dealing with a lot personally the last few years. McDermott has always got the most out of DBs. Obviously that doesn't mean they couldn't have screwed this one up. But there's probably more going on with him then we know. Regardless, hopefully a fresh start will help him get his career back on track.
  20. And 8 picks in the first 5 rounds. No way 8 rookies make the team. We have more ammo than we need to fill the remaining holes on the roster.
  21. We got basically nothing and somehow we still fleeced them
  22. CB in round 1 or 2 is looking like a given. Probably add a lower tier guy now or in the summer to compete.
  23. Interesting that they've added 3 d lineman ahead of a deep D line draft. Should give strong consideration to cutting both DJ and AJ IMO.
  24. I don't love it. But a 1 year deal minimizes the risk. So it's fine. I guess we are all set at DE then? We've got 5 guys. Probably would have preferred draft a guy in rounds 1 or 2 over paying Bosa who can't stay healthy. Do we gain any cap space if we cut AJ?
