  1. My first thought when they signed Collins was Brown could be getting moved. I doubt they do it, and wouldn't love having new starters at 3 spots on the OL, but I wouldn't be shocked given his contract situation.
  2. His contract is pretty brutal. We don't have much of a choice other than to hope he gets right.
  3. Is Seattle in cap trouble? Why would they be looking to trade him?
  4. I see no world where Nabers falls to 7. 4 5 and 6 all have massive needs at WR and Nabers and MH are elite prospects. One of them will trade down with a team moving up for McCarthy. The other two will take MH and Nabers.
  5. After seeing the reworked contract this is a wild trade for Houston. Not in a good way. Not sure what they are thinking.
  6. Where are you seeing that it is a vet minimum deal?
  7. Hope so. I see some our suggesting him starting at G. The contract would make more sense then. But has he played guard before?
  8. Contract details will be key here.....up to $6.25M sounds insane. I wonder if trading Brown is in play....I highly doubt it, but he is going into the final year of his deal. That contract just seems absurd for a depth tackle. But again hopefully the base salary is a lot less than what is being reported.
  9. Trade a 2025 2nd that can become a 1st based on production Then trade our 2024 1st and other 2025 2nd to move up for Brian Thomas Jr Still have our 2nd this year plus a 1st or 2nd next year Get er done
  10. Id consider it for a 2nd round pick. Definitely not our first.
  11. My first reaction when the news broke was 1. shock and 2. disappointment we only got a 2025 pick But after some time I'm liking the move more and more. 2025 2nd round pick is actually a great return for him, when you consider his age, contract and recent lack of production. Sets us up with ammo to make a move for a stud WR in the draft and get younger, cheaper and hopefully better.
  12. It's crazy how quickly their relationship deteriorated
  13. Of course we can. Anyone who thinks we are not Superbowl contenders is foolish.
  14. It says way more about Diggs that we were willing to eat S30M in dead cap. That says a lot about how they viewed his abilities at this stage and how badly they wanted him gone.
  15. Look at what guys like Keenan Allen, Amare Cooper etc went for. It's a fine return. Preferably we wouldn't have traded him to an AFC contender, but if they made the best offer it is what it is.
  16. Nothing significant really from Beane, but I do think he has a plan and is going to replace stef in a big way. Should be an interesting couple of months.
  17. Before I would have said stay out and take who is left. After the trade, yes absolutely we should move up and we have the ammo. The extra second makes it easier to trade away a top pick next year. 1 + 1 for BT 1 +1 +2 for Rome Time to make a splash
  18. I think next year's first is very much in play, now that we have 2 seconds next year. I'd have no problem trading it for BT or RO. I think we are going to see an aggressive move from Beane.
  19. This year's first plus next year first and our second next year. Will still have an early 2nd next year from Houston (Minnesota). Get er done.
  20. I agree. But see my post above yours. All it takes is one stupid team.
  21. I remember being shocked when this happened. I haven't looked at chart values but it feels like one of the most lopsided draft pick trades I can remember. Hopefully we can pull off a similar move. . The Vikings traded the 12th overall pick of the 2022 NFL Draft within the division on Thursday night. Minnesota sent the selection to the Detroit Lions, along with the 46th overall pick in the second round, in exchange for the 32nd, 34th and 66th overall selections this year.
  22. I would do this if that's all that it will take
