  1. Better days ahead my friends. I have the upmost confidence in Beane and McDermott.
  2. I still believe we win a SB within five years. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. It'll feel much more sweeter because of the tough times.
  3. NHL is a second rate sport. Players have zero personality. There's lockouts every few years. Poor teams in unstable markets. I stopped watching as a casual fan a few years ago.
  4. I hate to say it, but I'm not so sure there would be many tears shed ( Except his family) if he did end up dead. I just don't feel sorry for people that cause havoc on others lives. Some will call me heartless. Oh well.
  5. Yep. Football is a team sport. Frankly, Marino was never the reason his team didn't win a SB. Ditto Kelly. The only SB I thought Jim could've done more was the Giants. But, that was a team "effort". Parcells & Belichick took Marv & the Bills coaches to the woodshed.
  6. Jealous of a passionate fan base. One that lives and dies with their team. Through good and bad. I don't doubt they'll get a full house for every game in 2018. The issue is that they don't bother to show up when the team has a down season. That's not a great market imo. You need a team somewhere that can show support during trying times too.
  7. A reporter wondered if Belichick was possibly worried of: Jimmy G going to the Browns, them unable to re-sign him, and he ends up in the AFC East somehow. Who knows. Personally, my dream as a Bills fan is to win a SB. There was a time in the early 90's where just winning the division was a formality. It was SB or bust. I aspire to get back to said glory years.
  8. My cousin thinks Brady is not better than Kelly. The reason is: A) Kelly was more mobile. B) Belichick is a better coach than Levy. C) 4 straight SB appearances. D) Deflategate/Spygate Can any case be made Kelly is just as good, if not better, than Brady? Jim played in an era that wasn't as kind to Qb's.
  9. Yepp. Even if they win a SB in the next two years ( FML if they do), I say the end is closer with Brady then it would've been with Jimmy G ( Obviously).
  10. They couldn't continue to carry both QB's. Jimmy G was going to get paid. Brady was SB mvp for two of the previous three SB's. He was playing up to an MVP level up to that point. There's no way you trade Brady. It would've been a PR nightmare. The problem I have ( If I'm a Pats fan) was the return for Jimmy G. According to reports, they could've got at least a 1st from Cleveland. But Belichick traded him to a " Better situation" in SF. To me, that's indefensible. You never put one player ahead of the organization. Again, there's no way to know for certain if the Browns offered that.
  11. Not necessarily. Even in the glory years, there were plenty of games the Bills didn't sell out in December.
  12. Seven people will be coming with us. I doubt it'll be an issue now. Plus, hes 6 6 340. Hes a very big guy. I was originally worried if it was just two of us.
  13. My Pats fan friend & I were gonna come down for the Patriots game. Thing is, my friend has a habit of doing a dance every time the Patriots score. Is he better off not going due to a potential fight?
  14. It's disrespectful to his fellow NFL peers and those already enshrined. There are players who've waited decades to get in. Yet they still attended. He only cares about himself.
  15. Looking at old footage, I feel as though the Bill's weren't urgent enough on the last drive in SB 25. Maybe if they had more urgency, it would've been an easier FG to make for Norwood.
  16. By the 92 season, as a fan, did you not want the Bill's to get back to the SB? Mainly because you knew they were unlikely to beat the 49ers or Cowboys, and it was too tough to take? I know it sounds crazy. But Marv Levy said fans would come up to him and plead that they not get back to the SB. Mostly because they didn't have a great shot of winning, and they ( Fans) couldn't deal with more dissapointments. Furthermore, how did you feel about their chances going into the SB's against the Redskins & Cowboys (X2)?
  17. Unsure why we would ever consider getting this guy. He's made of glass.
  18. Bills whipped the Pats in the 03 opener. We all know how that season ended up for both teams. Last season KC beat NE in the opener. Point is, opening day is always a crapshoot. I won't be surprised by anything that happens. I also won't draw any conclusions to any results from week 1.
  19. I wonder how many Canadian fans cross the border for Bills games. Wish there was a stat out there for that.
  20. https://lawshelf.com/courseware/entry/conspiracy Second last scenario from article: "Fred is a security guard who works at the First National Bank of Bedrock. Fred suggests to his friend Barney that the bank has some cracks in its security and might be a good target for a robbery. Fred and Barney then conspire to rob the bank. The plan calls for Barney to enter the bank through the front door, hold up one of the bank tellers and then quietly slip out the back door that Fred would open for him. Upon leaving the bank, Fred’s car is to be waiting for Barney and Barney will take the car and drive to a hideout. Unfortunately, things do not go according to the plan. As Barney is entering the bank, he is confronted by a different security guard. Rather than turn around and leave the bank, Barney kills the guard and proceeds with the robbery. He then proceeds to rape one of the bank’s customers at gunpoint while the teller is placing money into the duffle bag that Barney has given her to fill up. Finally, after Barney runs out of the bank, Fred's car will not start and so he steals a car and drives to his hideout. In this situation, because Fred has conspired with Barney to rob the bank, he can be convicted of any crime Barney committed that was in furtherance of the conspiracy and was a foreseeable result of the conspiracy. Looking at the 3 "additional" crimes committed by Barney, Fred can be convicted for the murder of the security guard and the car theft because those were in furtherance of the conspiracy and were foreseeable. However, Fred will most likely not be convicted for the rape because it was neither in furtherance of the conspiracy, nor was it a foreseeable result of the conspiracy to rob the bank". I should've said Shady Could, not Would, be responsible if the perpetrator committed more crimes then Shady intended.
