  1. I would be absolutely stunned if the Giants won this game. Like really stunned. I have a hard time believing a desperate KC team.goes in there and loses. Well I mean at least he passed... 3/5=60 percent Usually a passing grade.
  2. Texans need to get a legit OC/HC in place. But Stroud is not deserving of a massive contract extension in the ofseason. Unless they pull off some miracle run. I won't believe it until it happens. They are one of those cursed teams who do everything wrong at the worst possible time.
  3. His "fun" included throwing playoff games away left and right. I don't want Allen to turn into that.
  4. Tomorrow (Lions/Ravens) is an awesome MNF game. That doubleheader on the 29th? Yikes!!!! Jets@Dolphins Burrow-less Bengals@Denver Impossible to know in advance Burrow wouldn't be starting. But it's still a dog.
  5. In a weird way, I hope the weak positions (LB/S) get exploited in the next few weeks. But the Bills still do very good. The schedule is favorable. Then the pressure to improve the D will be there by the deadline. My fear is the opposite will happen. The D improves against some meh to garbage QB's. Management thinks things are great. The postseason rolls around and an elite QB puts up at least 30 on the D. All the while Allen can't quite bail them out. Which is what we have consistently seen with this regime.
  6. Receivers not getting open is going to be a huge issue down the road. They need to get Tyreek Hill.
  7. That is the difference between them and us. Yes, they did let bad teams beat themselves. But they won when it mattered most. I don't think we can compare ourselves to what they were at all. Not yet.
  8. The Patriots had the Bills number while Buffalo has Miami's right now. But unfortunately that is where the comparisons end. They usually had a top ten D that could stop top tier QB's in the postseason. Not even mentioning the SB's.
  9. My fear too. Better QB's won't be dumb like Tua. I just don't trust them to step up in that spot.
  10. I believe the Bills would have blown them out had it been a Sunday or Monday game. Thursday games are always sloppy and weird things happen.
  11. Top 10 QB of all time. Nobody can dispute that. But as an announcer, I don't think he is better than Olsen. Brady seems to always hold back in saying what he wants to say. He should be forced to make a decision: Raiders or Fox. For me it's a conflict.
  12. KC, Baltimore, Buffalo and the Eagles. GB is TBD. I remember a SB winning QB, I forget who, giving a bittersweet detail after winning the SB. He said they spent six months plus together. Went through ups and downs. Formed relationships. They won the SB. Confetti flying. But what now? Now they all part for the offseason. He said he didn't know how to react. I may feel that way as a Bills fan. Even if they win it all. They are champions. An yes we celebrate for a few days. But no I'll football for 7 months!!
  13. Gross that he was out there on the road against the 2x defending champs. We can't let something like that happen again.
  14. 33-28 Bills It's a Thursday game against a division opponent. Weird things happen. If it were on Sunday, I'd pick the Bills by a larger margin. Board will implode if this actually happened. Question is would it be a fluke or signs of things to come?
  15. No better time to get his replacement in than against these next three opponents at home. Fins, Saints, Patriots. Those are some wretched teams and NE is the only one with a QB that may be an issue. But we should still win. @Atlanta, bye, @Panthers, vs Chiefs, @Fins, and vs Bucs follow. I think we need Milano back for sure by that Chiefs home game on November 2nd. That would be 7 weeks recovery. If it's known in advance he can't go, there needs to be a move for a LB and safety by the deadline. And...he is gone at the end of the year anyways.
  16. The Dolphins have better receivers than us. I mean I would take Hill or Waddle over any one of our receivers. But that really doesn't matter when we have much better OL, coaching and a more competent D. Oh, a better QB too!! That said, I have a weird feeling about this game. I like it when we are not huge favorites and the media doubts us. Something tells me the Dolphins will put up a fight. Division games plus it being Thursday may not be a blowout.
  17. Yup. Think of all the staff members who moved families to go work with McDaniels. And he backs out. That would have a negative impact on their lives. I know why he got another job (Tom Brady). But he should not have been allowed by the league to even interview for a job again. Little rat.
  18. Josh McDaniels was a failure of a HC in two different places. And terrible as an OC with the Rams. He was a successful OC with the greatest QB of all time. Brady got him HC jobs. Johnson definitely made a difference in Detroit. He was a huge influence. Being a HC is way different though. The jury is still out.
  19. How many HC's have been successful in that organization? What about QB's? How many GM's do they recycle? He went to a dumpster fire and it will take awhile before any success is possible.
  20. I do think the Ravens are better than us. Top to bottom. That doesn't mean we can't beat them. We have proven we can. But if we have to play them on the road, I don’t like our chances compared to being at home. They are a different beast at home. Ravens tough games: Lions, KC, Rams, Steelers, Packers and maybe Minnesota depending on how McCarthy develops. Yeh it won't be easy. I'm just saying I have a hard time believing they won't figure it out. And for a team like that, just getting to the postseason is all they need. The receivers coming back will help. Do I think they get to the SB? No. Though, I didn't think the 2018 Patriots nor 2023 Chiefs would either. Both teams with top three QB's and HC's of all time.
  21. 3-1 at worst. No way they lose both of those home games. And the Jags/Giants aren't good at all. Other tough games: Denver twice, Bills, Washington. Maybe I'm forgetting a team. I'll say they go 12-5 and win the division. I am not a believer in the Chargers. Something always goes sideways for them.
  22. This thread is definitely tempting fate. No way they miss the postseason. And unlike us, I don't think they need HFA throughout. See 2023.
  23. How successful could he possibly be with the Jets? That's a graveyard for coaches and QB's. That's not a reflection on him. It's a reflection on incompetence that starts with ownership. Belichick chose the Patriots over the Jets. Because he knew what was about to happen. And it ultimately led to two franchises going into two very different directions for twenty years. I do think their defense will get better. But without a legit QB it doesn't matter. Speaking of, is this Fields last season in the NFL if he flames out? He is what he is and isn't getting better.
