  1. Might have two offensive possessions left at most.
  2. This game is more on the offense than defense.
  3. Babich is just a symptom of the bigger issue
  4. Why in the world did he call a timeout?
  5. Double dip is the only chance at winning this game.
  6. I never did. They have some serious offensive weapons
  7. Have to remember last week was Maye's first huge win in the league. And he's not exactly going against the 85 Bears D today. Will he be in that Murray/Love/Lawrence tier. Or, can he elevate to a top 5 QB? He has all of the physical traits. But the other parts (reading a D, presnap and postsnap recognition, leadership, accuracy) are far more important.
  8. Baltimore might as well just hold out Lamar for the foreseeable future/season. They aren't going anywhere.
  9. Raptors fired Casey and immediately won a title. Bucs fired Dungy. Eagles fired Reid. All of those teams won a title. There have been several instances where a team got a new HC to put them over the top. And sometimes a HC needs a change too.
  10. The Eagles and Bills are both struggling. I've seen the comparison. Very true. Who knows what will happen. But one team has won 2/3 SB's in seven years. An owner who quickly moves off of coaches not getting the job done. A defense that has elite players. Experience. Great drafting. The other has a talent deficiency on defense. Hasn't sniffed a SB. Defense gets shredded consistently in postseason losses. Not so great drafting. If you were forced to choose, which team would you have more faith in to turn it around? It's been nearly three years since the incident. Everyone loves the story. But the team needs to start looking at performance on the field.
  11. I hate this approach: 1. The defense is on the field longer. That will have an impact later on in the game. Tired players. 2. Less offensive possessions. In turn, that means the offense needs to be darn near perfect with the possessions they do get. 3. The strategy will probably work against average QB's. Elite QB's normally make less mistakes. Meaning, TD's instead of FG's. The strategy overall hasn't worked when it matters most. Get guys on D who can get a pick six here and there.
  12. Patriots are still in a rebuilding phase. Maybe by 2027 they can compete for the division. I think they 1-2 the next three games. Only win being Tennessee.
  13. Edelman got open on a regular basis. And they obviously had Gronk who was unstoppable when he was healthy. Welker. Now was Edelman only good and shifty because of who his QB was? Nobody will ever know.
  14. When you put it that way....yikes!!!
  15. They didn't go to Kincaid enough. NE could not stop him. If something is working, you keep doing it until it doesn't work.
  16. Detroit Buffalo Eagles I put the Eagles because they are the defending SB champions. And they have an impressive track record. Those three teams look "sustainable". Indy...looks like a good team. But I can't take them seriously unless Jones is doing this in late December. Sleeper teams to watch out for: Denver KC (They move up when they start stringing together consistent wins) Washington
  17. Detroit is better. Yeah the Bills have the QB. But their #2 receiver would be the #1 here. Eagles...despite struggling Colts
  18. Feels like there have been alot of teams favored by big spreads in the past few weeks who are not covering. Or just outright losing. Us against the Saints, Phins and NE. Giants against the Chargers and Eagles. Bucs vs the Jets. Packers vs Browns. Packers vs Dallas. Any given Sunday (Or Thursday)
  19. He looked good. What will he do when his team is down two scores or more in the second half. How will he handle a last possession where he absolutely needs a TD to avoid losing? The truly great QB's can come from behind. They don't panic. New England used to have a QB who could come from behind on a regular basis. Let's see what this kid can do.
  20. I'm not. But Atlanta has more talent on offense than the Bills. The big question is what Penix does. If he is on, this could be a shootout.
  21. Is Atlanta that much worse, if at all, than the Patriots? And this is a road game.
  22. Jags have a good defense. They are doing more than Lawrence. To be honest, Lawrence has been a dissapointment.
