Bills are playing a dangerous game by holding out all those Defensive guys. What if the Patriots run game goes crazy and we are in a shootout?

No question. It would likely be: Beat: Baltimore, KC, Det/Phi in that order to win a SB. We are fully capable of doing it. Any SB champion has to beat great teams to win it all.

I can't quite go there yet. The absolute most important thing a QB can do is be able to read defenses. Look off safeties. Brady and Manning were the absolute best to ever do that. They were like OC's on the field. And they both had good enough arm strength to compete in shootouts where needed too.

If KC wins on Wednesday, we have no shot at the one seed. We should still play starters against the Jets though. Can't risk being rusty when the real season begins. The big question is what they will do week 18. Assuming Lamar plays out of his mind against Houston. And we end in NE. I know it's team first. But Allen sitting while Lamar beats up on Cleveland, may sway MVP voters. Again, team first. But you know the organization wants Allen to win MVP. As most fans do too.

The only way to win a SB is by beating upper echelon teams. If we can't even get out of the divisional round again, we were never going to be SB contenders in the first place. I will say adding that 7th seed has watered the postseason down. For the most part, the 7th seed has been getting beat bad. It won't happen. But the league needs to go back to the 6 teams format. It was stupid to have only one team get the bye.

O'Connell has made Darnold look like a pro bowler. That alone should get him the award. Not to mention their record and how they look. Also, let's ay O'Connell and McDermott switched places. Is Allen worse off? Is Darnold still doing what he's doing? Agree. The COTY in all sports goes to the team that overperforms. The team without expectations. I noticed in hockey the winner often gets fired within a few years. I think that's because they surprise year one. Management thinks the team is on a title path or something. Predictably..said team falls back to earth. And everyone is disappointed. Otherwise...Bill Belichick won the award twice. Do we believe Belichick was only the best head coach in two years? Obviously not. He was the best coach most years.

I don't think many fans will look at it this way. It's SB or bust at this point. Elite QB's don't grow on trees. We can't waste one. Losing in the AFC title game vs divisional round won't make me feel better as a fan.

They better hope their offense doesn't struggle in the postseason. Which Lamar tends to do. Because that defense isn't bailing them out against top tier teams/QB's.

I wanna see them do this in the postseason against legit non injured defenses.

Eh...while true, I just think we want an angry Pittsburgh team fighting to break their losing streak vs one coming off a division clinching game.

Ravens can definitely beat KC in KC too. Us and them are the only teams with offenses that can cause them problems.
