  1. Everyone is basing the Bills winning on what KC has not done offensively this year. But I still wouldn't be surprised if they go up and down the field on the D. Score maybe 38 points. Whenever they've had to put the foot on the gas peddle, they have.
  2. This is a critical loss we couldn't afford
  3. I certainly hope Bishop doesn't get picked on in this game. You know they will be going his way.
  4. We are better than the Chiefs. But Baltimore was also better than us going in. Too much comes into play like officiating, coaching, a fumble here, a pick there. I'm not confident. Maybe a 4/10
  5. I do believe the Bills would have opened it up if the game dictated it. But they played on their terms, with a lead, for most of the game.
  6. This is the biggest thing. Without Swift, KC is a small market Without much fan fare. The league would want larger markets in the game. With Swift...the Chiefs have the appeal they otherwise would not have.
  7. Probably fatigue from hosting so many playoff games. This is the 6th AFC title game they've hosted in 7 years. Maybe they expect to win this game and are waiting to spend money on SB tickets. You would expect it still to be sold out though. They averaged 73k during the season.
  8. I can just see it now. Chiefs have the ball. Down 30-28. 4th and 3 at midfield. 20 secobds left. Mahomes throws a 30 yard pass for Kelce that ends up out of his reach. During this time, Kelce throws the CB down. Both the CB and Kelce fall. Ref calls PI on Bills. Chiefs run it down to two seconds. Kicker hits both uprights somehow. The ball falls through. Chiefs 31-Bills 28 A LB could destroy him with a huge hit so he doesn't try it again. Would be worth the flag if it's early enough.
  9. Watching that on TV or live would be....ugh. A very bad feeling. I always thought the offense didn't do enough to get in closer fg range. 47 yards on grass was a long kick at that time. Not easy. Turning point of the game was when Ingram on the Giants broke tackles to get the 3rd down. Or, Giants QB not losing the ball on the safety. One tackle or one ball coming loose would have made everything different.
  10. He also had way more weapons than Allen. And a D with legit pass rushers. Meaning...it was only a matter of time until they broke through with that roster. Unfortunately, we don't have a roster like that. I agree. The Patriots made those division wins count by winning several SB's. The Bills have yet to do that.
  11. It depends. If it's a clean game that ends in a 21-18 lossor something, McD is good in my book. If Allen is great. The D is bad. And we lose 44-39 or something, yeah I want him gone. It's not just one game at this point. How much longer can you allow another organization to shred your D in the postseason. Especially when you are pretty much the DC? You can't be a defensive HC and consistently have your season end with YOUR D getting shredded.
  12. Until I see Allen taking a knee (win) in KC, my answer is no. At this level, against these particular coaches, I don't believe in these coaches. Just from what I've seen against them before and overall. To note, I do believe in Allen. And McD CAN outcoach Reid. I have to see it first. IF they get by KC, my answer is yes. They slay the dragon, there is alot of confidence going against one of these NFC opponents.
  13. Harbaugh and McD are very similar. Both very good coaches. But not quite the elite of the elite who can consistently outcoach top tier teams. Both getting heat for not getting it done in the postseason.
  14. That's my point though. Winning the division doesn't say much. The Bills are better than the other three. Nobody doubts that
  15. Nobody doubts Allen will continue to be good next year. And I'm sure the team will win the division. That has never been a problem. Beane needs to bring in a stud number one receiver. Young pass rushers and CB's. Even if he does, KC, Baltimore, and Cincinnati will all improve too.
  16. Those other teams aren't defensive head coaches whose D gets obliterated by the same opponent consistently. Cincinnati's D did good against them in the two playoff games. SF D did good last year. Ravens D kept them in check last year despite Lamar screwing up. Allen is putting up stats against them. It's McD's defense that has been the issue.
  17. This. For 20 years the fans had to endure a dynasty in the division. A top 5 QB of all time. The organization had junk after junk at QB. We were jealous of the Patrots succes. Everyone wondered if we would get the guy at QB someday. Then, somehow we do get the guy. And...people will be ok with another year going by with no SB appeareance. Another loss to the same team and coaches? Allen is nearing 30. New England is thrash now. But what happens if they get the right players in. Maye becomes an elite QB. And..winning the division is no longer a given? Can't keep letting these opportunities slide through our fingers.
  18. We beat them in their house frequently during the regular season. Let's not act as if they blow us out. So, said regular season success proves they can play with these guys. This isn't Denver yoing into KC. This is a top three team going in there. So yes, a loss would hurt and make me angry. They are more than capable of beating them. It's not 2020 anymore. Where just making it to the AFC title game was a successful season. That year I knew we had no chance at winning.
  19. They've done enough this season to get to this point is what I mean. They've been a top three team all year. It's not as if they are Denver who was just elated to make it. Follow the team as I always have.
  20. There's no viable replacement out there. Johnson & Vrabel are not an option now. Belichick is in NC. McCarthy will likely get the Saints or Raiders job. Regardless, McD wouldn't be fired if the team lost 71-24. And great coaches were available. But...I'm of the opinion he should be gone with a loss. Specifically, one where his D is shredded. How could you not be upset with yet another loss to the same team? I'm legitimately asking. Not trying to be rude.
  21. This. I'm also not suggesting McD is a bad HC. I'm going by other sports. In Baseball or basketball, if a HC lost to the same team 4/5 years, while being mostly outcoached by the same people, they would be fired. Regardless of the round it happened in. Win or lose Sunday, KC isn't going away. They will be in our way to a SB for the foreseeable future. We can't keep trying to beat another army with the same generals at the helm. Have to wonder how much faith the QB will have in the coaching staff if the D let's the team down again. Everything we are thinking is probably going through his mind.
  22. Fair or not, the season is a failure for me if they can't get to the SB. It doesn't matter if they exceeded expectations. They are here now. Have a great opportunity. They've earned the right. With an elite QB, you need to be able to get over the hump (KC) eventually. These opportunities aren't guaranteed each year. Losing 4/5 years to these guys just isn't acceptable for me. Sorry.
  23. I just researched. No NFL team has ever defeated another team in the postseason four times in a five year span. A loss would be historic. Do you fear them losing because the Chiefs are much better or mostly due to the officiating? You have to wonder if the refs would dare make the calls they made Saturday against the Texans in Orchard Park (Chiefs@Bills). The fact this is in KC makes it tough.
  24. Yes he does. Brady did too. If Allen wins a SB, maybe he can too. The Bills need to be in the league's ear this week. That comes from ownership.
