  1. I don't even remember New England getting these calls consistently.
  2. The better team doesn't always win. Unfortunately
  3. Yeah this is just ridiculous. It's tough enough beating a great team. But a great team and the refs? Something has to change and soon.
  4. I'm starting to wonder if Stroud will be a Carr level QB. Or, take the next step and be top 5.
  5. That HC's owner is likely the one making calls.
  6. Yup. Look at SB 52. The old Chiefs (NE) took on Eagles. Philadelphia used trick plays and took risks all game. At that time, you needed that to beat them. KC is the new Patriots. If you make mistakes, you won't win.
  7. Their D is legit. Would need guys to step up who haven't all year. And Reid/Spags vs McD scares me.
  8. You have to wonder if organizations are complaining to the league about this. For once, I want to see a HC come out and say what everyone is seeing out there on the field. Yeah, he will get fined. But when is enough going to be enough?
  9. Does anyone seriously believe in them to win the game though? I certainly do not. They are sloppy and undisciplined. Have a QB who has zero awareness. They go for FG's over TD's. Their D is being let down by the offense. The team to beat KC will have an elite QB, very good D. But most importantly, won't settle for fg's.
  10. Did New England get this many calls in their favor? I don't think they did.
  11. I don't think Houston is going anywhere with this particular QB. He is good. In the AFC, you need to be elite.
  12. He doesn't need to be elite for them to win. And he is elite when he needs to be. If Houston scored 30, he would find a way to score 31.
  13. I actually want to beat Baltimore, KC, and Eagles\Lions. I want there to be zero doubt about the validity of our title. Beating KC in Arrowhead to go to the SB would give this team so much confidence for the SB. And to be clear, we are more than capable of beating them there. We proved it in 13 seconds and last season was a tight contest at home. The key is not allowing fan noise to be a factor. I do respect others who say just win a SB and the path doesn't matter. Jmo.
  14. This game is definitely not bigger than the AFC title round imo. If we lose to KC, nobody will care about beating Baltimore. If Baltimore loses to KC, nobody there will care about beating Buffalo. This game is critical because it's the next step to the next round. In the end, no SB win=a failed season. With Allen, that's just the way it is.
  15. Even fully healthy, I'm not buying into this Texans team. They won't have a chance against KC. If they were facing us or Baltimore this week, I would say the same.
  16. Going to need the D to play at an elite level. No turnovers on offense. They have more ways to beat us than we have to beat them.
  17. They should go back to the way it always was. First two seeds get the bye. 3 vs 6 and 4 vs 5.
  18. To be fair, there is nothing wrong with that. Herbert is a very good QB that can win a SB. He's not a Carr or Dak level player. He's second tier. But it's not as if 20 NFL teams wouldn't take him in a second. I think he escapes criticism because the Chargers: A)Unlike KC/Buffalo, they don't have a rabid fan base B)They've been so disappointing that failure is the expectation. C) It's established by now he is not quite at the level of the other QB's mentioned.
  19. This seems like his opinion. Nothing concrete. But I do think it's tough to be a broadcaster and not be able to criticize others. Also, how will he broadcast in different cities each week while running the Raiders?
  20. How can a QB be so successful in the regular season, yet stink it up in the postseason. The only explanation I have is better defenses have found weaknesses in Lamar. Maybe they study his entire body of work in the regular season. Meanwhile, Allen has not seen as drop off between regular season performance and postseason performance.
  21. I just looked and he was voted most overrated. Wow....crazy
  22. It makes no sense. Every teammate and opponent of his has said how great he is. How difficult he is to stop. If you asked a Chiefs fan whether Allen or Jackson worries them more..I guarantee they would say Allen. Oh well. A SB win this year will make up for everything.
  23. Lamar winning MVP isn't a robbery or anything. He is deserving. Allen did have better stats last year. But the interceptions hurt him.
  24. It's so strange because Lamar is a 1st ballot HOFer with three mvp awards. Allen is 50/50 at best without any MVP's. Yet....their regular season stats aren't much different. And Allen has better postseason stats.
