Must win for multiple reasons tonight: 1. Win a huge game against an elite team that has caused us fits in the past 2. 1st in AFC East. Would still be a battle to the end. But losing would cause huge sales. 3. A loss virtually guarantees we don't get HFA throughout. Even if we came back and won the division. Would need to basically win out and hope KC dropped at least two more games. With Dallas, Miami, Jets, Philly, & KC left, well, that's unlikely to happen. 4. Team game. Not the most important. But hoping Allen shows he is better than Burrow going forward. Idk if one game determines that. But I can't say with certainty I would take Allen before Burrow moving forward.

Bills @ Patriots Post game thread
Billsfanatic8989 replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Had a bad feeling about this game. Everyone in the press was talking about how Belichick would be fired. Patriots are looking to tank etc. Bills will blow them out. Maybe the Bills thought they could just show up & NE would quit within no time at all. -
Tough to win in this league when your receivers can't get seperation. Need a legit #2 to take pressure off Diggs. Pickens or Olave would be great additions. Might cost a bit though.

Are we still mathematically alive?

Yep. Good point. Will probably lose to teams like Bucs & Chargers. I can't see them losing to Denver. They are on another tier of badness. -
Yeah I just did research on that. Denver played in NE from 2012-2014. Then, NE played in Denver between 2015-2017. Seems to go on a three year rotation.

How Good is Josh Allen Really?
Billsfanatic8989 replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
He reminds me of Brett Favre. Gunslinger. Will win alot games with his arm. He will lose alot of games with his arm. He is what he is. I'd get cut out the turnovers, he would be right there every year as an MVP candidate. -
Absolutely. This team has a tendency to beat great teams and play down to the competition. Maybe it will be a blessing in disguise. No excuses.

We still have Eagles, Cowboys, Jets, KC, Miami, and Bengals upcoming. Philadelphia & KC are two of the toughest places to win at. Cincinnati, despite their issues, aren't inferior to us. If we win the division, we will have earned it. BTW, why do we keep playing @KC? Three years in a row. They have not played in Buffalo since 2020.

Looking at the schedule, this team is in deep trouble: Jets Eagles Cowboys Chiefs Bengals Dolphins I do not see one game where you say "The Bills definitely got this one." Bucs have a good D. Losing to them wouldn't shock me. Yeh the schedule is a bloodbath from here on out. -
Officiating really sucks in the NFL

Holy hell did they ever. Yikes.... -
I know for sure both him and Dorsey need to be gone at the conclusion of the season. Now would be preferred. Can't keep wasting the prime of an elite QB. This team needs an offensive coach. Eagles/Lions OC's should be near the top of the interview list. Even someone like Lincoln Riley from USC. Offense rules today. Teams with elite QB's (We have one), are winning SB's. Five of the last SB's were won by Mahomes or Brady. Obviously, both elite QB's.

I am so glad we are the first team that Mac Jones scored a late GW TD on. Whenever he has the ball in clutch time, you can count on him choking. Not today.....😡😡 Offense has been an issue for too long. Not many great coaches out there to save the Bills right now. McD and Dorsey need to go at the end of the year. Get an offensive coach in here at that point. This isn't a SB caliber team. Always be a fan. But this team isn't even great to watch when they barely win against dregs like the Giants.
-
This team isn't bad enough to get high picks. No way that happens without a trade up. I don't see them selling. Bills have a great QB and are expected to compete for SB's. That's probably how Terry looks at it.
-
He is a good coach. Not great. I don't doubt he would find another job. A nice man. However, this is an offensive league. You don't win unless you put up points consistently. Bring in an offensive coach. Whether it's Bieniemy or someone from college. The OC needs to go too. He isn't Daboll and he never will be.

Bills @ Patriots Game thread - 2nd half

Was that Tom Brady disguised as Mac Jones? This is an unacceptable loss. -
2nd half of the Green Bay game on…
Billsfanatic8989 replied to Lenigmusx's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yep. 110% agree. Struggled to beat a bad team after getting out to a big lead. I thought it was just a one off. Unfortunately it was not. -
I was shocked at how quick Burrow got rid of the ball. It was almost prime Brady like where the OL doesn't matter. Bengals clearly focused on this going into the game. After it was 14-0, I never felt the Bills would win. Cincinnati is too good and the slow starts eventually caught up to them.

Eli Apple tried to be cool post game. He failed miserably
Billsfanatic8989 replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bit odd to be smoking a cigar when you still need two wins for a Super Bowl. I hope KC beats them 50-17 or something. Bengals have quickly become a very hateable team. -
Josh looked really defeated in his press conference.
Billsfanatic8989 replied to bostonadguy's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not to mention Jacksonville seems to be a great team in waiting. What a brutal conference. -
Who are you rooting for next week? Cincy or KC?
Billsfanatic8989 replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Both should be good matchups agreed. I know media will focus on Cin beating KC three times in like 10 months. But all went to the wire. KC has the advantage at QB, OL, coaching, and DL. It's unimaginable to think KC could lose two straight conference title games at home to the same opponent. I was not sold on SF before today. Still am not. They have a great, not all time elite, D. No doubt. But they have benefited from playing inaccurate passers for the most part. Now they go on the road and face a challenge that has not come there way in three months.
