  1. The 7 seed (Probably Denver) is highly likely to get blown out. The 6 seed (Steelers) won't beat Baltimore. If they were playing better, I'd say they had a chance. But not with the way they have collapsed. Imo, it would be in our best interest if Chargers beat Houston. I can't see a scenario where Houston goes into Arrowhead and wins. I definitely think the Chargers can win there. In the end, we will 99% get Baltimore. Difficult? Yes. More difficult than the regular season games? No. This time it's in Buffalo and we have improved. I can definitely see Miami losing. I can't see the Denver losing to KC part though.
  2. My only concern...is this D capable of stepping up big time if he has an off day? IE, Patriots beating Rams in SB a few years ago despite putting up only 13 points.
  3. True. For a minute, I thought that post was saying Burrow wasn't an elite QB lol. The one reason I would want Cincinnati instead of Denver is the coaching matchups. Taylor instead of Payton. NFL upsets are ore likely to happen when a team has a HOF caliber HC. Otherwise...I'd take Denver.
  4. This. I have to think KC wants Denver in over Cincinnati. Most teams would. Not that that is the reason they are resting starters.
  5. Just clarifying...you are saying the Bengals have an elite QB but not the RB to go with him?
  6. You referring to the season ending loss in 04 that kept us out and put the Jets in? That was 20 years ago. And look at our HC then vs what Denver has. Yes, it's possible. But highly unlikely.
  7. My guess.... Denver@Buffalo Chargers@Texans Steelers@Ravens I can't see Payton losing to backups. And I can't see the Chargers losing to Vegas. I would prefer Miami over Denver. Payton is a coach who gets more out of less.
  8. OT: But how different do you think the team looks with Henry at RB?
  9. Other than QB, what player/position keeps opposing coordinators up at night? Who is the gamechanger on defense that takes games over consistently? We know for a fact that Baltimore has a gamechanger behind Lamar. Literally and figuratively.
  10. Allen and Lamar are great. Both of their backups suck. But that doesn't help their MVP case. Most NFL backups suck. If they start, your team is usually doomed. Bo Nix>Stidham doesn't make Nix suddenly a valuable commodity. I can see voters falling for recency bias while Lamar carves up Cleveland on national tv, and Allen is out of sight and mind this week. You hope this doesn't happen. Anytime they are on the one=a Lamar running or passing TD.
  11. Hopefully Allen is first team all pro. That's what really matters. When do we find out those results?
  12. Even if they get 1st OA and trade out, what are the odds they hit on a HC/GM/picks, and are a thorn in our side in 2026 and beyond? Not good. They are a mess. Jury is very much out on how good Stroud is. He has not been good this year.
  13. Bengals need Miami to lose to Cleveland. That seems unlikely. They also need Denver to lose to KC. Screw the rivalry. If I'm KC, I intentionally let Denver win to keep the Bengals out.
  14. Play the starters for a half against NE. I don't want a rusty bunch in the WC round.
  15. Otherwise there is a double standard. Lamar wins with worse stats and a better team record. Lamar wins with better stats but a worse team record. So how can Allen win?
  16. Let Allen get a TD and call it a day.
  17. He can't if he's sitting next week. Personally, I believe the starters should play two quarters against NE.
  18. Would have preferred Allen got that TD....
  19. Just need one more Allen TD please. Though...this game is ovah.
  20. Lol I remember someone commenting yesterday they would take Shakir over McConkey.
  21. Bills will win. Allen's MVP chances are very much in jeopardy.
  22. Not trying to be negative. But...his chances are taking a huge hit. Please lt him get at least two more TD's in the 3rd quarter.
  23. Allen needs another TD before halftime. Pleaseeeee
