Even fully healthy, I'm not buying into this Texans team. They won't have a chance against KC. If they were facing us or Baltimore this week, I would say the same.

Going to need the D to play at an elite level. No turnovers on offense. They have more ways to beat us than we have to beat them.

They should go back to the way it always was. First two seeds get the bye. 3 vs 6 and 4 vs 5.

To be fair, there is nothing wrong with that. Herbert is a very good QB that can win a SB. He's not a Carr or Dak level player. He's second tier. But it's not as if 20 NFL teams wouldn't take him in a second. I think he escapes criticism because the Chargers: A)Unlike KC/Buffalo, they don't have a rabid fan base B)They've been so disappointing that failure is the expectation. C) It's established by now he is not quite at the level of the other QB's mentioned.

This seems like his opinion. Nothing concrete. But I do think it's tough to be a broadcaster and not be able to criticize others. Also, how will he broadcast in different cities each week while running the Raiders?

How can a QB be so successful in the regular season, yet stink it up in the postseason. The only explanation I have is better defenses have found weaknesses in Lamar. Maybe they study his entire body of work in the regular season. Meanwhile, Allen has not seen as drop off between regular season performance and postseason performance.

It makes no sense. Every teammate and opponent of his has said how great he is. How difficult he is to stop. If you asked a Chiefs fan whether Allen or Jackson worries them more..I guarantee they would say Allen. Oh well. A SB win this year will make up for everything.

Lamar winning MVP isn't a robbery or anything. He is deserving. Allen did have better stats last year. But the interceptions hurt him.

It's so strange because Lamar is a 1st ballot HOFer with three mvp awards. Allen is 50/50 at best without any MVP's. Yet....their regular season stats aren't much different. And Allen has better postseason stats.

Unfortunately...he needs awards.

It's weird because Lamar will have 3 mvp's to Allen's 0. Yet, would anyone really say Lamar is better? This will hurt Allen's HOF case too unfortunately.

Yeah I'm starting to think Allen is not going to win MVP. I wasn't thinking that way until this all pro list became available.

Barring some off the field craziness, McD will return for 2025. I've accepted that. Plus, there will be no viable replacements remaining. Not to mention he is a very good HC. I think McD gets heat because he has Allen as his QB. So the expectation is getting too, and winning a SB. If they get there and win, the pressure is off for 2025 and likely 2026. If he took over the Browns and made the postseason with a lesser QB, they would be over the moon joyful with his performance. It's all about the QB's and expectations. Jmo.

Ravens losing on the weekend would be disastrous for the entire organization. Could go down as the worst loss in franchise history. The only reason I'm giving the Steelers a chance is because it's a division game.

How often does the league MVP not make first team all pro?

It appears that team was old and no longer the best team in the division. Let alone being SB contenders. This team isn't old and on their last legs. And they will still be the favorites in the division going forward.

Realistically, I'd say the "biggest upset" will end up being Commanders over Bucs. And that's not even a real upset. I'm picking Washington. I fully expect us to pull away late from Denver. I think Baltimore whips Pittsburgh from the start. Eagles beat GB in a tight contest.

Bills are 7.5 point favorites. Home teams usually get 3 points to start. So....we are really 4.5 point favorites? Or does the three point home advantage no longer apply?

It's Denver. But Payton scares me. He has the ability to outcoach alot of coaches. And...the pressure is 100% on us. Not them. It's SB or bust for us. It's a great season for them already. That isn't as high as I thought. Unless Vegas is trying to get betters to get in on Denver.
