  1. Justin Bannan without the attempted murder, I hope.
  2. It's funny, I look at this list and think "Not too bad". It all depends on one's perspective.
  3. I think 36-40 will be required. Holding Chiefs to 35 is a reasonable expectation.
  4. It's highly precise. No telling if it's accurate because it's a simulation based on models and this is one run of that simulation. The real thing will also only occur 1 time, so the range of outcomes is considerable.
  5. Your take on the OP says more about your worldview than the OP.
  6. or just play Jeff Driskel who is in fact a QB.
  7. Time to make TBD a better place for myself... another genius (excuse me! NEAR GENIUS) goes on the ignore list.
  8. Holy cow...I had to google it and of course you are right. It's amazing how memory works, or rather doesn't work. I can remember so many details of the Super Bowl in Atlanta but my brain apparently juxtaposed Michael Jackson from the prior year onto my memory of that game from Atlanta. Point being, I blew off the half time act. At least I remembered the pre-game show accurately. I am sure I also remember the hangover the next day after my buddy and I downed a bottle of JD in sorrow after the game.
  9. Am I the only one that sees "Davis Mills" and turns it mentally into "Miles Davis"? I keep expecting to hear that Cannonball Adderley is starting at running back.
  10. In bold is one of the more logically non-sensical statements I've ever seen on TBD.
  11. Sports commentators of any gender can only aspire to this brilliance...never ceases to make me laugh, sometimes to the point of crying: https://www.today.com/video/mary-carillo-s-badminton-rant-remains-the-best-sports-commentary-of-all-time-747874883720
  12. Justin Herbert was not really a back-up in the same sense as the others. He's a star in the making. Nonetheless your point is well taken.
  13. Wait, where is Ertz on the list?
  14. I hear you man...there was no way I thought it would be that late arriving. Traffic on 20A was backed up to East Aurora. I hadn't seen anything like that before.
  15. A Bayesian statistics view would say the 12% isn't the right number here. Many of the teams that start 0-2 are truly terrible. We'd need to look at something like "Teams that won 12 or more games the prior year that start 0-2".
  16. Walked in after being parked on grass along a road quite a ways from the stadium as our reserved "priority" lot parking passes are apparently worthless if you show up at 12:30 since they completely filled Lot 2 as well as Lot 1 and were turning away dozens of parking pass holders. What is the point of getting reserved parking so you can show up later and still have a parking spot if they don't actually hold a spot for you? Might as well just park in a pirate lot.
  17. The 1970's would have killed you, snowflake.
  18. Ok, great. Then if the odds are 1 in 1,428 that the Pats make the playoffs, surely you would be willing to bet me with better odds than that. I only need 1000:1 odds. I bet $10 and if the Pats make the playoffs you owe me $10,000. You OK with that? If the answer is no, then you don't really believe what you are saying here.
  19. Resources (cap space) are finite, draft picks are finite, and they have to make decisions as to what to address and where to take risks. Unlike fans who can critique each position on an individual basis, they need to manage the whole.
  20. This is exactly what I was thinking. I feel like it'll be fortunate if he suits up for 8-9 games this season. Predictable, but given the financial implications not much choice for this season. Surely one of the reasons they kept 11 on the D-line.
  21. Ahh, variable pricing per game. I certainly would expect the home opener vs. Steelers to be about the highest priced game I could imagine under that pricing scheme. The Canadian border thing probably didn't fit into their thinking back when they came up with it, but frankly speaking if they just about sell out prior to game time, it means the pricing was optimal for maximizing revenue. Not that I am particularly excited about that, but I can appreciate it from a business perspective.
  22. I saw this too. What makes you think the Bills are changing or gouging on ticket prices? They appear to be the same as they have been since they went on sale. Bills ticket prices are amongst the lowest in the NFL. I was thinking it was more likely Covid concerns and Canadians who can't make it across the border.
