  1. Dude's a nutcase but let's be honest the Pegulas are a curious ownership to name drop. If he really was just making crap up for publicity then he'd go after Jerry and Jim Irsay lol. I'm sure there's a slight salt of Truth in it but I don't doubt the Pegulas are good people that are simply making the best business decisions. And if y'all seriously don't think there's some sort of gentlemen's agreement to black ball Kaep then open your ears to what people have been saying about the QB positions everywhere (Bills get mentioned weekly somewhere at least once) are far poorer than what Kaep can do. The world sees it, hell I don't even see it as a bad business move. Look at Nike, the team that signs Kaep is going to sell a ton of merchandise and get a LOT of new fans.
  2. Playoff teams don't need to suck ass the following year. We have the same defense that carried us. Just a simple question, why can't we evaluate our strengths and weaknesses and beef up the weakness? Unless we're dying for a high pick (which if that's what you want, i can deal with that answer and respectfully disagree). But to say we couldn't have gotten better.. I don't believe that's true. KB and Matthews failures set us up for a bad WR corp sure.. Cap strung? We could have paid star money on 2 okay O-Line players, grabbed John Brown, drafted primarily offense. If we had just made moves on the offensive side. We were cap strung last year and this year, that's how GMs work, they add a few players to fill a weakness, we didn't.. other than QB. I've echoed the that dude's sentiment as well. We have a rare opportunity to capitalize on fantastic secondary contracts. It's not mutually exclusive to make playoffs and Improve. I'd have seen we got by on a good secondary, and passed on Edmunds for Ridley.. love him, but can improve there next year no? Suddenly we have an offense where we have a slight idea what Josh can do. Got better in our rebuild, and spend all our dough on both sides of the ball cause all this CAP I'm hearing about having next year needs to be spread around.. since top quality FAs are rare and won't magically turn out to be a treasure of O Line and WRs. And mostly don't have this defense in a losing culture where they just spent a season knowing they're likely to lose games when they play top notch football regardless.
  3. Giants stole my heart kicking Patriots ass in my formative years Would NOT follow to another city, screw em. Although I'm sure many would be okay with Toronto (yuck). I'd be torn between Giants and Browns.. and I'd still love the NFL but feel like a jackass fan joining a new fanbase.
  4. They are close to elite IMO. They give up.. for reasons I can't blame.. some games when they just know they can't win (that crushes you as a competitor to have no control over the most incompetent unit on the other side of the ball). But last night, being MNF primetime, they played exactly as they should, as hard as they could, so as not to get embarrassed in prime time. It's difficult to tell. They may not be close to elite. I believe they are.. but we're like a bird with a broken wing. One is fine, could be a gorgeous bird wing (or strong, my analogy got weird) but the other ain't gonna make this team fly for ****.
  5. No way man! We're a storied franchise. Primarily because of the Kelly era, but we had the Juice! One of the early AFL teams that proved they could compete with the NFL post merger.. and a darn good AFL team before that. Is this possibly the worst season (at least by offense) ever by a franchise? yeah it could very well be a 30 for 30 lol, but we're not a friggin expansion team. The Bucs and Jags and Texans have had god awful years and no Superbo... scratch that the Bucs have one. BUT THE JAGS AND TEXANS.. no chance. I'm just pleading to your self of steam OP, don't lose that steam in your self. Bills fans are quite respected around the states (although the table crashing is tarnishing that.. starting to piss me off actually, I'm not in Buffalo but you guys up there gotta stop those idiots.. or at least find a cool drunk thing to do).
  6. plot twist.. what if McDermott NEVER looks at the tape. So when he says he has to look at it he's thinking "CRAP I forgot I said I'd do that last PC!"
  7. geez I bet he's a 6th at best. Have no idea, but the Panthers traded him away for what seemed like pretty cheap at the time, and KB's performance thus far has made it look like a steal for the Panthers. Now his value is much much worse than what we traded for him.
  8. absolutely, that's one flaw I'm perfectly okay with, can be easily fixed. But he is pretty bad at it, even for a rook. Wentz was doing this from day one.. I mean, it's not like they didn't have to do the same thing in college, so that's worrisome. Idk if JA had that issue in college, but I seriously doubt it. I'd bet it's 100% nerves being in the NFL afraid to change anything your OC set up assuming he had a crystal ball calling protections.. I never see quarterbacks have this issue for very long, so he just needs a QB coach barking in his ear about it. If that's not happening, that's godawful coaching. If it is, JA needs to listen as it really shouldn't take long to at least make some coverage adjustments. Just bringing it up because there were sacks where a safety was clearly blitzing, the defense was loaded on one side, and JA seems to never make blocking assignments. I remember a safety blitz in particular where the announcers were saying he HAS to see that.. even if it's a disguised zone, assign Shady away from his wheel route on your left, put him on the safety side on the right, and assign a rub route or just a read block to run the wheel on the side of the safety if he's disguising the blitz or chill and block the safety if he is blitzing. Noticed the announcers were saying the blitzers had a huge advantage, because they were showing blitz, then blitzing, with JA not accounting for it. If you're showing blitz.. AND blitzing then you're getting to the quarterback so much faster. If JA isn't making that presnap read, there's no point in disguising a blitz lol. Just do it. How many times can I say blitz in a post...
  9. I agree, but it wouldn't be a conventional QB, the guy has to have some athleticism (and of course pocket awareness).. Josh Allen's inexperience at making presnap calls, shifting protection is his achilles heel at making his offense maybe get a first down every other possession
  10. JA's the only one on the roster that can do something . Only quarterback that can move the chains on this offense is an athletic QB that says **** it, nobody's open, if I throw it to their tiny catch radius they either drop it, pop it up for a pick, or catch! and fumble, or make their best catch of the season called back for a holding penalty.. I'm running it baby! Russel Wilson might be the only quarterback on the planet that could win with this team. Tyrod would at least be a poor man's Wilson (very poor man's).. Josh Allen might learn some good (or bad) habits playing this way, but I like a guy that can scrub a toilet with some dirty water and a tooth brush. Oh and some guy named Kaepernick.. literally the only way to get first downs on offense. I know we want that Dan Marino pocket golden boy, but man.. an uninjured JA playing week 1 all throughout the season running through MLBs smaller than him would squeeze out an okay record with this defense.
  11. The OP is saying the scheme is so good, the fact that the terrible offense sucks with it means it must be a REALLY good scheme.. because it's tailored for all-pros, and since we have the opposite.. Well Daboll's a genius. You just don't get it.
  12. In all seriousness can we at least respectibly tank? We'll be the most infamous team in history if Peterman plays the rest of the year. We can obviously still lose without pairing the worst Quarterback ever with one of the worst offenses ever.
  13. Well it's like the old saying. Can't get worse than Tyrod. Couldn't possibly be worse! The dude passed for 60 one game in his career.. unbelievable. Can't get worse than that. I think we can all agree there.
  14. Y'all serious? You'd rather lose the Superbowl 37-30 than 13-12.. cool, the 2007 Giants were real scrubs sticking it to Brady with all that nonsense called defense.
  15. We could trade Peterman for a 3rd. I know it's a huge loss but let's face it. We're in a rebuild folks and we can't let Peterman gunsling his way to any wins.
  16. Yeah if Derek is out and JA still hurt, might as well sign Kaepernick to back up Peterman. Hate to say it, Peterman has more talent in his pinky toe than Kaepernick, this will be the next Joe Webb package IMHO Nah man Peterman is clearly better. Why else would he be in the NFL? ^
  17. It's entertainment by this point. Might as well have fun and hope for a better day
  18. We gotta give Nate a chance fellas. We just simply still don't know what this guy is capable of
  19. Good call, genius move keeping this guy on the roster.
  20. Satirical. Guarantee it'll be a thread very soon. Best part is the titles are always phrased that way lol
  21. We say that every time. Any Big 10 QB is in the "cannot be worse than Peterman!" Group
  22. WHERE DA JOSH ALLEN HATAS AT NOW
  23. I love the posts "THIS BOARD IS WHY WE WILL FOREVER SUCK". God help us if any GM reads TSW and goes "huh, these guys are onto something here"
