The truth, I think, is somewhere in the middle and probably a little closer to the former than the latter. The way I look at it is, what’s the expected additional points per game that the opposition will score now that Tre’s out?
Hard to guess, but I estimate 5-6. A few big pass plays per game will be hit that wouldn’t have been hit when Tre was in.
Well, every victory we’ve had so far, we’ve more or less blown the opposition out. And our offense still isn’t playing their best ball yet (and is about to get arguably their best offensive lineman back). So what I’m trying to say is, our offense can cover the difference I think.
