  1. Thanks for your insight. To tell the truth I (as a fan) was exhausted before the game yesterday even started. It has been a rough year for all things Buffalo Bills. Haven't read much of the threads today and probably will take a break from football for a while but reading some of the responses in this thread makes me believe the fans form a perfect "bell curve" in emotions. I guess I'm still somewhere in the meaty part of that.
  2. The Saints have gone 9-8 and 7-10 in the last 2 seasons in arguably the weakest division in the league. I'm not so sure that's who the Buffalo Bills want to emulate. Restructuring is a tool that Beane has used in the past and will in the future, but I believe too many fans think it's some magic bullet. Tough decisions will have to be made.
  3. I may not know exactly what goes on at OBD, but it seems to me that McDermott gives to long of a leash to both Frazier and Dorsey.
  4. I agree. I got beat up about Dorsey last week, so I went along with the crowd. Frazier is stuck in his plan that may have worked with all his stars on the field but lacked when the "next man up" became a reality. My opinion (which doesn't mean squat but to me) is both sides game plans are too rigid and do not adjust enough for the opposition. Nothing can sway my opinion that the best way to right this ship is to give Josh Allen more time in the pocket and a game plan that puts the opposing defenses on their heels.
  5. If Diggs is pissed and want to go home let him. This loss is going to be hard on the entire team. The last thing they need is players and coaches worrying about how others are feeling. The postmortem of this season is going to take a long time and needs a deep self-analysis.
  6. Doyle is depth. Bates and Brown are currently serviceable at best. Morse could be done with another bad concussion. If Beane doesn't address the OL as priority #1 then I don't know what they expect Josh Allen to do. Bills lost today's game because Burrow had time to throw, and Josh didn't. I will add their OC was much better than Dorsey.
  7. I don't root for any team but the Bills. I'll watch the games and see how these teams play. Bills OC/DC/STC should be looking at these teams and developing plays to fit their own schemes.
  8. I expect nothing less than rational mature posts in today's GDT. Go Bills.
  9. I believe the Bills will mainly stick with what has worked all season on both sides of the ball. That being said, I'm expecting a few new wrinkles on both sides too. Go Bills!
  10. I don't think the Jags will win by that much today. Chiefs should keep it close.
  11. Did not listen to any predictions or hype for this game. Not even the pregame show. KC should win but it is being played on a Saturday. Any given Saturday.
  12. It seems to me that the Bills have to draft a starting day 1 RG early in the draft. They also need to draft a future replacement for Morse a couple of rounds later. Throw in a WR and S and the top 4 rounds are covered, and you can't rely on any of the later rounds will be starters. Trying to draft a RT too just seems to be too much. If Morse is injured, you can't have the entire C/RG/RT all be rookies. It's not going to happen. Spencer Brown needs to improve, and I think he has a good chance to do that. He will be the Bills starting RT going into the 2023 season.
  13. No one wants to see Poyer go but it is the most likely scenario. While the cap can be "managed and manipulated" to a certain degree it does limit what teams can realistically do, despite what some fans think. Poyer will see what the market will bring him. I can see some team needing to build a D that has money and pick paying him some big $s. Heck, the Bears could sign him to a 3 year $15M per contract that they can get out of after 2 without blinking. There's no way Brandon Beane can make that work.
  14. Of course it is. There is so many sports shows that the material is so diluted they have to do things to "keep peoples attention". It's why we have "clickbait". Having everyone "pick" the winner helps with the gambling too. Everyone's an expert. I can care less about this stuff and probably shouldn't have even posted, but it's so unimportant.
  15. I'm constantly dumbfounded why people concern themselves about sport media's "opinions". The other stupid thing is making everyone choose a team to win. I'm surprised the cameramen don't get a pick. How about giving a choice of "too close to call, that's why I want to watch the friggin' game"! SMFH.
  16. I'm totally different. When I click on this site it's like I'm inviting people into my house. I expect them to act accordingly. I have no problem telling some that they have to leave.
  17. I wouldn't put this all on McDermott. Micah said in his return to practice presser that he is still talking with his doctors and it's about his progress during practice that will determine his game status.
  18. The playoffs are a whole new beast. I've read this thread this week and I hear all the stats of the season being thrown around and personally, I don't put much stock in it. It's one-game seasons every week now. This current Bills organization/team has been to the playoffs 5 of the last 6 years. This team knew it would make the playoffs this year and that it would likely be because they would be the AFCE Division Champions. This week's game is nothing new for them. Everyone at OBD knows what it takes to win and how quickly a loss can send them home. I'm confident that a large number of players will step it up and push themselves Sunday to get the prize they all want. Gabe's play last Sunday has to be an inspiration to the team. He played the way needed to do what it takes to win. The one regret that I think everyone has, is that Von Miller is not playing. While that is unfortunate, every team has similar challenges. We've waited all year for this game and so have the players! Go Bills.
  19. I moved to Colorado in Elways first year and watched his whole career. Josh Allen is unique.
  20. Bengals are coming to Orchard Park for the Divisional Round. Bills fans have been waiting for this all year. "These are the 'good ole days'".
