I like your thoughts but think it may still be 2-3 years from now before those top teams take a back seat. I think the Bills are still 2 years away from moving up and that's a big IF JA steps up his game and becomes the man for us. If he doesn't then we are stuck in 8-8 limbo for another 3-4 years! I'm hopeful he will progress this season with his new weapons and improved line. Go Bills!!!

ABSOLUTE ANSWER ON WHY WE SIGNED GORE. Between him and Shady they have the most experience to teach the RB the Bills will be drafting this year who will be the future. This is a TEACHING by example signing. It actually does make sense and at only $2M it's like a player coach (like we have done with our QB situation) GO BILLS!!!

If not, what does it take to get there? I don't think Beane is going to pick up any high profile players like AB or LB types but 1 or 2 overpaid linemen and WR's are in the mix and needed. Just curious what everyone's expectations are for the offseason and top 3 rounds draft guys! Go Bills!!

Unfortunately no, we still would have lost. Our Defense couldn't stop them! May have been a closer game with less turnovers but we still would have lost. Dallas had just beaten one of the best Niners teams on the road and we were overmatched once the game settled down in the 2nd qtr.
