all of the capital we just stockpiled was depleted in one day for two players, not a good feeling.

Tyrod named starting QB of Browns
paulbills replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was on the front lines protesting for his departure yet I was still a believer that Tyrod would start for another team the moment we all figured he was done with us, I remember all the nay sayers and how he would never start again, good for him. -
Will Peterman and Mccarron duke it out for the starter spot or does Mccarron get the green light right away?
-
Finally, I was starting to really worry..
-
Think i'm going to have to blow my brains out if we get Teddy. I sincerely hope after this Tyrod debacle that we can move on from gimmicky quarterbacks and settle on a reliable pocket passer.
-
No yeah I get that, I just found it weird that we'd expect such a sudden culture / attitude change, we broke the drought, lets try and make it back within the next 3 years and win a playoff game or lock up the division (good luck with brady + belicheck still around however)and get some playoff experience. I think this is a starting point and we shouldn't be having any delusions of grandeur, obviously pundits are usually limited on their knowledge of a team's history / fan base but I trust Shady that the culture is changing in the right direction. Then again, our goal every year realistically is to "win a superbowl" so eh, what do I know, lol.

This team is in a win-now position, cousins gives us that piece we need to win now, if we trade up, all of the pieces we have now will be gone by the time the rookie develops.

Bridgewater is crap, no offense. He started every game 2015 for the Vikings, 14 TDs 9 INTs 200 yards average a game and a 88.1 passer rating is nothing special, especially compared to Tyrod's 20 TD's and 4 INTs 215 yard average and 99 passer rating that year.

I mean, Tyrod is still Rex's QB, I know that's a meaningless metric but I just cannot stomach bringing him back another year after he got picked apart by Romo in the last 5 minutes of the Jacksonville game. That's not even the first time Romo was critical of him either, the pats-bills game had much of the same.

Oh boy, another retread....

I like the Bucs uniforms they had when they won the superbowl, the Panthers uniforms and the Jags uniforms that they used in the early 2000s.

When Was the Last Time It Looked This Good?
paulbills replied to Fadingpain's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Am I the only one thinking Dennison got canned but Tyrod isn't going to be? The consensus around here seems to be "when tyrod is gone" although I can't not be scared to think he may be staying another year. -
Mccoy is the obvious choice if they can get him.

Most hated: Pats & Cowboys Like: Lions, Browns and Cardinals.

Whether he was or wasn't motivated and whether he had issues off the field or not our rush defense would have been so much better for the later half of the season if we had just waited to release him or trade him, idec if he played only half the games down the stretch, his contribution and presence gave our defense that piece we needed to help stop the run a lot more consistently. Just a quick analysis of how much rushing yards we gave up before and after he was traded: Jets = 38 Yards rushing. Panthers = 77 Yards rushing Broncos = 111 Yards rushing (but we won) Falcons = 147 Yards rushing (but we won) Bengals = 65 yards rushing Tampa Bay = 63 Yards rushing *DAREUS IS TRADED TO JAX* Oakland = 54 Yards rushing Jets = 194 Yards rushing Saints = 298 Yards rushing Chargers = 146 Yards rushing Chiefs = 55 Yards rushing (finally!) Patriots: 191 Yards rushing Colts = 167 Yards rushing (snow game + win) Dolphins = 100 Yards rushing (win) Patriots = 193 Yards rushing Dolphins = 93 Yards rushing (win) Proof is in the pudding.

I don't really know, isn't this the guy that won a super bowl as an OC w/ Kubiak? Regardless if he has any "playcalling experience" I'd like to see what he can do with a good QB on the roster.

Bills-Jags Was Best Game of the Weekend
paulbills replied to Rico's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I personally thought NO/CAR was the best game of the week, or even TEN/KC... our game was a testament to crap QBs lol. -
Dennison will probably (80% chance) be back, you have to keep the continuity and try him out with a QB who can actually perform in his system, you think "the process" is going to can an OC after 1 season? Think again, I think he gets at least one more season with a new QB and if he fails then he will be gone by next year seasons end, I think this offense improves twofold with a competent QB at the helm.

Wildcard Weekend: Bills at Jax - 2nd Half Thread
paulbills replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Both of these teams would benefit so much from having a real QB behind center, we'd have a totally different game if they were consistent. This just looks like such a struggle on both sides, can't reckon the jags have any real chance in foxborough after this performance at home. -
Tyrod Taylor's "Signature Moment" of 2017?
paulbills replied to twoandfourteen's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This topic really is going to be argued into the ground until he's gone eh? hopefully it will all be over soon, don't think I can stomach another year of Tyrod debate.
