  1. Doesn't matter, we can whine he's a bully all we want, he's right, we haven't done anything to shut him up, an article crying about his gloating will make it even worse and make us look soft.
  2. Go Chiefs??? wtf go nobody, y'all are so weird lol. I want the Lions to win if anything. This whole loser mentality thing is showing itself more and more these days, content with mediocrity and even cheering FOR rivals that embarrassed us, bizarro world.
  3. fire in his eyes? I don't know man, that looked like a 1000 yard stare to me.
  4. At this point does it really matter? I have no reason to believe anything is changing, our super bowl window since 2019 has looked like this: 2019 - Wide Open, unlimited potential going forward despite bad loss to Houston, we believed at this point. 2020 - Still 3/4 open, made it to AFCCG, lots of promise and stuff to look forward to, it was only a matter of time at this point. 2021- 1/2 open, 13 seconds, best chance to get to the SB that year and build momentum for more. 2022 - 1/3 open, still hope for the bounceback season after 13 seconds, end up getting dominated by bengals at home in the divisional, not even close. 2023 - there is a small 1/4 - 1/8 crack in the window open, you squander your first home playoff game against the chiefs in a legacy game. 2024 - the window is closed barring a deep playoff/super bowl run, it is officially do or die (even though it technically has been since 13 seconds). 2025 - considering an unsuccessful season (no super bowl) in 2024 is more than likely, the window has now been locked shut, and will probably take 1-3 years to unlock and open it again slowly. This assumes Allen who is now getting older will be able to stay healthy all season, how badly will we look back on the past 5 years if Allen has trouble staying healthy for the next 2-3? it's a miracle he was even able to stay as healthy as he has been his entire career, he's not going to be this way forever and the closer he gets to 30 the more likely injuries can happen, especially with his style of straight up bully ball at times. God forbid Allen goes down for 4-5 weeks next year, this team is DONE, does this still save McDermott? Not sure how anyone can be optimistic for the future at this very moment.
  5. I haven't logged in or posted for about 5 years, but for this thread, I will, and I will only leave one picture for my choice. If I don't see these again in my lifetime I will be very sad.
  6. It was a fluke game, offense still matters more in this day and age than defense, what has our great defense got us? nothing without an offense.
  7. Give me what you're smoking, must be good stuff.
  8. "Still confident in Nate" tells me he is likely going to stay and get molded into the backup, there's just no way you keep DA with him being as old as he is and it's a toss up as to whether or not they keep Barkley.
  9. Probably still Us, the Raiders and the Cardinals and maybe even the 49ers at this point. We're still on track for 4-12 or 5-11 in my opinion.
  10. Yuck, you have to figure McD was too embarrassed to name Nate the starter after getting lambasted by the media.
  11. Anyone picking the Bills obviously hasn't bet on spread before ?
  12. Will we ever trot out there in our 90's throwbacks? A man can only dream.
  13. It's no surprise that every single one of our QBs has been gun shy, our receivers seemingly suck at every facet of their game, can't get separation, can't beat defenders one on one, run half assed routes and half of the time can't catch balls that are delivered right on target. Hard to develop a rookie with an abysmal receiving core.
  14. The amount of drops are insane, a lot of those incomplete passes were on target. How can't you be gun shy when your receivers suck at every facet of their game? This doesn't just go for Peterman but for Allen as well, I can see why he's been hesitant to sling the ball in there.
  15. We make it to the playoffs and he's the greatest thing since sliced bread, we struggle in a year with zero offensive weapons and suddenly he has to go. This board is far too emotional more often than not.
  16. Silver lining: We get to watch him compete with KB for most dropped passes for the season.
  17. Oh, you mean the QB that went 4/14 with 19 yards in the first half against the Jets only to get benched for Baker Mayfield? That's much better?
  18. I'm surprised he managed to have a 63% completion rate even with all of those drops, I figure if the receivers had pulled through and made those catches everyone would have a different opinion of him right now, it's easy to look at a stat line and make fun.
  19. Peterman would have 200+ yards easily if these receivers didn't drop everything thrown at them, so brutal.
